Shellshock Lullaby Discusses Recent Song Release, Plans for Shows to Come and More!

Pop punks SHELLSHOCK LULLABY creating music for quite a while, releasing their most recent song, along with some other singles and an album! Preparation for shows and touring is in the works, with more music and hopefully shows, not playing live since 2021 is quite extensive. The band discusses all of this below.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

The band has been around since 2011 based out of Butte, Montana. It’s had many members over the years, but our current lineup is Russ Nelson, AJ Puckett, Andrea Holland, Nate Jaap, and Adrian Sebastian.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

I (Russ Nelson) had a list of about 100 possible band names. Our drummer at the time (Joe Beaudry), recommended we mix them up in three-word combinations. And Shellshock Lullaby was the best one that came out.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We’re based out of Butte Montana. There are several great music venues here like the Covelite Theater, KBMF, and the Mother Lode Theater. Local bands that I would recommend are Dragged Out, Hibernator, Duelist, and Levi Blom.

4. How would you describe your style?

I would call it our own brand of pop punk. It definitely has some 90s grunge influence. We try to incorporate modern sounds as well. I guess it’s pop punk, but we just try to do it in our own way.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

We have a few singles and an album on streaming services are most recent song was “ Songs in the Movies.” It came out May 25, 2025.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

“Songs in the Movies”.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

Our most recent lineup is very recent. So we are currently rehearsing and preparing to play live shows and tour.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

More music more shows hopefully lol we haven’t played live since 2021. So it’s definitely a goal of ours to start playing live shows again.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

Our Music is available on all streaming services. As of now we have no merch, but we will definitely be stocked up when we tour.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

When we first started, we used to write some pretty emo songs that we hoped people would relate to. We’re still doing that but also trying to make the songs more fun. We wanna spread good energy and fun wherever we go.
