Brit-pop-inspired rock band KITTEN has released their highly-anticipated new hit single "I Did It!" via Red Music off of their upcoming new album. The addicting, infectious and triumphant track sung by lead singer Chloe Chaidez premiered on Stereogum, with the outlet stating that the song is a "glistening and infectious slice of retro-pop" with "a new urgency underpinning it all."
"'I Did It!' was one of the first songs I wrote with the band after returning to New York. The core of the music came in a fit of inspiration, and the words just flowed out of me. The song is both regretful and empowering. It's about the kind of mistake that ends up showing you the way forward. I've made a lot of those. I'm sure there will be more," explains singer Chloe Chaidez about the track.
