Scarlet Serenity Holiday Interview

1. What are you doing for the holidays?

Joseph: Dressing up as Santa, drinking copious amounts of egg nog and stealing all the presents from local children... Just kidding! We've spent the last month or so working on something pretty fucking rad that we hope to release shortly after the new year.

Kyle: Possibly turning a date into a kidnapping, who knows. [Laughs]

2. What are you thankful for?

Joseph: My friends and family, devilish good looks & amazing talent! For real though, we're so thankful and lucky to have such amazing people who support our crazy little dream that is Scarlet Serenity.

Kyle: Thank god for orgasms! If not for them sex would be mindless rubbing of human genitals... But we'd all still do it wouldn't we?

3. Do you have a favorite dish for Thanksgiving or do you enjoy everything?

Joseph: Bring on the pie.

Kyle: Pizza is pretty rad.

4. Who's the one who eats the most when it comes to the holiday season?

Joseph: I think it is safe to say that Kyle eats the most out of all of us, I don't think there is a dish that exists that I haven't witnessed him inhale!

Kyle: I think I'll have to agree with Joseph on this one, I love food!

5. What is your favorite Christmas song to sing and why?

Joseph: It isn't exactly a Christmas carol of any sort but my favorite Christmas song to sing would be "Yule Shoot Your Eye Out" by Fall Out Boy. Most people are shocked when they first find out that we are Fall Out Boy fans because our music is a lot heavier than you would expect pop-punk fans to enjoy but we are extremely influenced by their songwriting and creativity.

Kyle: That one where I go around shooting out people's speakers, bah humbug.

6. One thing you really want for Christmas is what?

Joseph: Is Hayley Williams an option? [Laughs]

Kyle: For me it's not about what you want, it's about what you have and how you use it.

7. Do you have any New Year's resolutions?

Joseph: My New Year's resolution is to not have a resolution. I feel as if people just use the event as an excuse to procrastinate on changing things they don't like about their lives. No holiday or resolution will make a change for you, you need to take it one step at a time and achieve personal goals for yourself.

Kyle: To be myself and better myself as best I can.

8. What can fans expect from Scarlet Serenity within the new year?

Kyle: Sexy hair and even sexier tunes!

Joseph: We're keeping the cat in the bag for now. We have been working with some pretty rad people preparing big plans including releases, tours and more. We just need to make sure they all fall into place before making promises we can't keep. One thing we can promise that soon enough you'll be seeing our name everywhere.
