Dead Lakes Announces New EP And Releases New Video for "Eighteen Weeks"

Post hardcore outfit Dead Lakes have announced their new EP, "Nothing Is Sacred", will be out July 20th. The three track EP was produced by Casey Bates (Pierce The Veil, I The Mighty, Portugal. The Man) and follows up on the quintet's last single, "The Devil Has Blue Eyes", which has garnered over 79k streams on Spotify in just a few short months.

"We are so excited to announce our debut EP "Nothing Is Sacred". The overall theme of the EP is realizing nothing is pure, or perfect," says vocalist, Sumner Peterson. "We wrote these songs in the fall of 2017. We were all growing, and dealing with day to day life. We tend to write songs in groups, and therefore tend to focus on whatever is going on in our lives at that particular time to properly write that feeling into the songs."

Along with the EP announcement, the band have premiered the lead track from "Nothing Is Scared" titled, "Eighteen Weeks".

Peterson added, "We decided to go back into the studio with Casey Bates. We loved working with him before, and we have loved so many projects that he's worked on. He was amazing on this EP, and has always been more than just a producer to Dead Lakes."

"Nothing Is Sacred" is available for pre-order on iTunes and includes an instant download of "Eighteen Weeks", find that HERE. Check out the new music video of that track over HERE.
