Emmure - Slave to the Game

Emmure was an act that was a part of the Thrash and Burn Tour a few years back and since seeing them way back when they never seemed to interest me let alone impress me until now.....

Emmure's fifth album "Slave to the Game" is an assortment of tunes that is surrounded by heavy guitars, powerful drums, and outstanding but aggressive vocals having their style fall between the lines of deathcore and hardcore melodies. Some of the songs that tend to stick out the most include hit single "I Am Onslaught", "Bison Diaries", "Blackheart Reigns" and "War Beings With You".

This release is chalk full of melodic mid-ranged riffs with numerous breakdowns that keeps the music moving from beginning to end.
