Nvision Says New Music Coming Soon and Are Shows Lined-Up!

Modernized rockers NVISION have a debut along with a sopomore release with a follow-up titled "The End". This band just wants to keep making music, get out and play some shows and just get themselves noticed. The band says all of this and much more below.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

NVision actually started as the lead singer, Alex, as a solo artist. Alex did a mixture of Rap, EDM, Rock, and several sub genres. As an ode to this history in the band, our first EP, Reflections of a Broken Soul, is still up on Spotify from this material. In the early spring of 2020, Nathaniel joined on drums to initially help Alex begin to start leaning towards a more rock oriented sound. Then, we went to a new producer, Zack Keel ( www.theflwrshp.com ) and we wrote our first single of 2020, She Said. With this new sound and style, it became very evident that Alex needed to step down from "being" NVision to being a part of something bigger -- and the band was formed.

Kevin joined the band a few days before our video shoot for the song and had to quickly learn it enough to play the video -- looking back its actually kind of comical. We continued to write new material and got asked to play a show 3 states away in Oklahoma at the end of May. We took it on and the band was solidified. When we released our second single, Show Stopper, we started making a lot of progress and reaching out to expand our brand. At the end of July, we signed on with Blind Anxiety Entertainment for our booking and kept writing new material to take with us in 2021.

Phil finally joined on with us on bass in October, completing our line up and solidifying our position as. a growing rock band in South Mississippi.

We started 2021 strong with a weekend tour in Tampa, FL, a number 2 spot on our local podcast, The Sound, and an exciting new release set for March 12, 2021.

There is always something new going on in the NVision world -- and plenty to watch out for!

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

NVision was a play on words devised by Alex and former manager, Lex Muery. At the time, Alex couldn't see much music manifesting in front of him, but he could see the "Vision" of what's to come. And so NVision was born.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We come from the hometown of Three Doors Down, Biloxi, MS. The music scene took a hit for a few years around here, but with the help of The Sound and a few outstanding performers, it is making a comeback. We are starting to get more venues trying to open up and the competitive market is driving the quality up to a fine point. Another great group of guys that we try to work with when we can, is Silent Trust. We have been nose to nose with them on The Sound's "Dirty Thirty" for the past month.

4. How would you describe your style?

Modern Rock that's having a tinder fling with Hip-Hop. EDM comes over to visit on the holidays.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

Reflections of a Broken Soul is our debut release. Finally Alive, our sophomore release, expresses a much more defined and mature sound with ear-catching melodies and strong, poetic lyricism. Each song encapsulates the listener and creates a 3 minute experience that leaves them satisfied, yet longing for more.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

March 12th we begin the next chapter of NVision with our release of The End. And may I say that it is different from anything we've released so far in a very good way.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

For sure! We have about 10 shows planned out right now, all of which can be found on our website at www.nvision228.com/on-tour or by following us on Bandsintown.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

We want to keep making music for the broken, for those who don't have a strong enough voice, for those who are misunderstood and for those who are hopeless for as long as we can. Ultimately, when things open up more, we want to be on festival stages -- but for the time being, we're so grateful and happy for every stage we get to play.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

www.nvision228.com is the one stop shop for all things NVision! Our title page has a link to our YouTube, Spotify, Instagram, Facebook, and our merch store is there as well!

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

We care about you. If you relate to the lyrics, we've been there and sometimes we still are there. We hope we can make a positive impact on every person that listens to our songs. Thanks so much! Very much enjoyed the interview!
