American Standards’ Release Chaotic New Song "Phantom Limb"; Announce Tour Dates
Phoenix, Arizona’s American Standards have premiered a completely unhinged new single via Metal Injection titled "Phantom Limb". The song mixed by Kevin Antreassian of The Dillinger Escape Plan, continues to push the dynamics of the experimental hardcore band while hearkening back to familiar sounds of early 00’s and late ‘90's metalcore. Frantic melodies and shifting time signatures are paired with expressive, dual vocals. The song is reminiscent of mathcore pioneers such as Converge, The Chariot, Every Time I Die and The Bled.
"We’re always pushing ourselves to do something different. With Phantom Limb, it was taking a traditional song structure and turning it upside down into something that sounds a bit schizophrenic upon first listen."
Says Brandon Kellum, the frontman for American Standards.

Condemned AD Releases Video for "Nothing Is Nothing"
Swedish Thrash Metal band Condemned AD have released their new video clip for "Nothing is Nothing". The video was filmed by Alexander Eriksson and Mikael Karlsson in November 2018 and edited by "YOD Multimedia".

The band was formed in 1989 at Skoghall, Sweden by Mikael Klecken (vocal/guitar). In 1992 the band released their debut EP "Until death ends it all", but after some years playing together in 1994 the band split up, because Mikael Klecken had a major depressive disorder. In 2015 a good friend of the band asked Mikael "Klecken" if they could temporary rejoin for his 40 birthday and do a gig at a local Rockbar in Karlstad after that gig they decided to keep on going. After some lineup changes and two E.P "Until Death" and "Will i cheat death one more day". In 2018 the band released their new EP "Time Waits for No One" and a video.

OBDUKTION – Awaiting The Wicked
"Awaiting The Wicked", is the fourth full-length album from Greek death metallers OBDUKTION. This band being originally founded back in 1995, over time releasing numerous content, along with playing shows and touring as well. As for this latest works of theirs comes this album "Awaiting The Wicked", consisting of 8-tracks that should bring fans of Asphyx, Gorefest, Vital Remains, along with many others like Deicide, Grave, and even Decrepit Birth. For instance the similarities of sound from these acts can be heard a lot within such tracks off this album including such as “Murderous Sanity”, “Devour The Soul”, “Incantation Of Chaos”, and “Consumption Of The Flesh”. Each one of these tracks sounding fierce and very intense. The energy given is very direct and in your face, providing this wave of torment with just the vocalization, letting the melodies of the instrumentals back it all up. In other words, the material just stands strong, never letting loose, but keeping a firm grip hold that holds tight, giving you everything at once. It’s how the whole album sounds off pretty much. OBDUKTION’s fourth album to date that is this one, “Awaiting The Wicked”, is downright lots of fun and very fulfilling as a wholesome piece of classic death metal to its finest fold.
Rozu Talks of New Music and Upcoming Plans!
Post hardcore band ROZU have released a few singles, with so much content worthy of new music, that an album will follow suite soon enough. Plus the band has some tours coming up as well. Discover just what else the band has got in-store for this music and the future.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
The band is made up of myself (Tim Graham: vocals), DJ Sundine guitar, Henry Navarre Bass, and Brian Robertson Drums. We all came together back in January 2018 with this vision for the band and how bands should operate within this digital age we have.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
We had pretty much compiled a list of unique band names that we all liked then just kept trimming it down. We wanted something very unique and easy to remember and Rozu being the Japanese word for rose really stood out on that list. We ended up going with it and started planning the branding and story this band is telling with a blooming rose in mind.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
We are based out of Denver Colorado, like any other scene it has its moments of being really strong and sometimes the opposite. Regardless we love it here and really enjoy when we get to play that local market. Our buddies in Shatterproof are really something special so check them out.
4. How would you describe your style?
The best way to describe is as a post hardcore band. We are so diverse with our writing process and really want to write how we are feeling everyday so there should be a little piece of something for everyone within our music.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
We have released 3 singles so far to really start building up that foundation, but we are constantly writing.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
Absolutely! We went a different approach forming this band where we pretty much took 6 months to write a lot of music and just never stopped, so while we are releasing singles and getting the fan base up we are continuing to build content. At this point we have almost 2 albums worth of music.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
We just had our first string of shows this past week and are working on a couple tours for the spring and summer right now.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
We really are just never wanting to slow down and continue to grind in the smarter fashion we have been. We would love to be pretty much full-time touring and is our major goal right now.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
I just want them to hear and feel the honesty in our music, we pride ourselves in writing very true to ourselves and about real shit and not just empty words on a page that sound catchy.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
WE're Life Underfoot, we're an Alternative Emo band from Owego, New York we started the band in 2017, and we're going into our 2nd year as a band.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
Our guitarist and Lead Vocalist Andre Judge got the band name from a poster in his 10th grade
Biology teachers classroom. "Just sounded cool and dark" -Andre
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
Well we're from Owego, but we're apart of the Binghamton scene. Great people. Locals to def check out are Second Suitor, Tom Jolu Lunar Pacific, Brighter Days, Still Searching, Yard Party, and Promises Unsaid.
4. How would you describe your style?
We play a mixture of stuff but we consider ourselves to be Alt Emo. Trying to bring back what original Emotional Hardcore is, but with our own take on it, love early bands like Rite Of Spring, Fugazi, Mineral, but also Nirvana, Brand New, and Blink 182. So we try to blend the best we can.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
We have 4 releases out and what to expect is just a band that tries hard to write unique songs but not change anything. We could've played pop punk like our friends. But we needed something different.
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
We do! We actually just finished the writing process, now just getting ready for recording.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
We have a couple shows coming up for the end of January and beginning of February. In March we'll be joining our friends Brighter Days on some shows to support their new EP. Please check them out.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
Just playing more shows, we'd love to try to get a UK show that'd be awesome!
