Modernized metal band DIZORDER have a handful of content out, an EP, an album, cover track as well. Even an acoustic track has been made with much more in-store too. They want to get out and play the world, spreading their music far and wide too. The band says much about all of this and more.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
DIZORDER started in October 2018 with Kevin, Max, Chloé and Baptiste, first of all aims to offer a metal with dense atmosphere, shaken up with our French touch.
Driven by the brutal screams of our singer Chloé, we try to leave the traditional comfort zones by giving a touch of trip-hop, deep-house and dark electronic music.
After a first EP “MOON PHASES”, a European Tour in 2019, we have welcomed our new bassist Alex in 2020 and unveil the LP Album “SKY//KIGHT” in December 2020. Dizorder is:

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
Dizorder comes from “DISORDER” which means a confusion or an illness that disrupts normal physical or mental functions. This help us to bond our metal with abrupt changes and seductive enfolds.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?
We come from the beautiful Paris in France. The music scene is not doing well now with Covid-19 but hopefully we can expect a renewed interest for local bands such as Nora Lake, Despite The End, Beyond Thy Sight or Out Of My Eyes !
4. How would you describe your style?
We can call it “Modern Metal” because of the multiple influences and the atmosphere that emerges. We provide an alternative metal at the crossroads between Flyleaf, Deftones, Northlane and free ourselves from more lyrical spheres.
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
We have released:
• 1 EP called “Moon Phases” (2018)
• 1 Metal Cover taken from ‘La Casa De Papel’ original Netflix series, originally interpreted by Cecilia Krull (2020)
• 1 LP “SKY//LIGHT” (December, 2020)
You can expect an uncompromising Metal with a female voice!
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
For sure! We are working on an acoustic version of “NIGHT//OWL”.
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
We are currently working on a European tour with labels and partners. It’s kinda difficult because of the Covid nightmare.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
We need to widely export our music across the world. SKY//LIGHT has just released but we are already thinking about new materials in order to get our music heard by the largest people !

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?
Maybe the versatility and the diversity of our songs, our atmospheres. We try to depict our own pains in painting landscapes and untamed world.
