North Star Media’s urban pop duo, EPOCH FAILURE (pronounced “epic failure”), have beat extreme poverty and hard times in their lives.   Now Billy Joe Marrero and Nick Young are poised to win the hearts of America with their extraordinary tribute to one of the most beloved rock tracks of all time.

As Bon Jovi’s SLIPPERY WHEN WET prepares to celebrate its 30th Anniversary, EPOCH FAILURE decided to put their own unique spin on the album’s best known, smash hit “Livin’ On A Prayer.”  They made a lyric video to spotlight their adaptation of the track’s verses and uploaded it to YouTube.  Their video was discovered online by Matt Bongiovi, who then sent it to his brother -Jon Bon Jovi.

The video was quickly posted on BonJovi.com and the band’s Twitter and Facebook – an endorsement from Bon Jovi to be sure. Legendary co-writer Desmond Child also shared the video across his social networks, and forwarded it to co-writer Richie Sambora.  In a joint statement of praise, Jon Bon Jovi and Desmond Child have said, "The powerful new version of 'Livin' On A Prayer' by EPOCH FAILURE retells the intimate story of Tommy and Gina, set in an urgent urban landscape.  It captures the song's timeless message, lifting the banner of hope and faith for a whole new generation of working class heroes.  EPOCH FAILURE is a winner.”  After hearing the new interpretation, Sambora added, "I love it... Killer!"

North Star Media’s John Sepetys adds, "Ultimately, I knew we were treading on sacred ground here.  I told the guys that if we were gonna take a run at this, it had to be something special.  It went through multiple rewrites, and I sent them back to the lab several times.  But when all was said and done, I was confident they nailed it." The duo was honored by the endorsement from Bon Jovi. "It all happened so fast,” said Nick Young.  “Matt Bongiovi reached out to us right after he saw our video.  Then, two hours later, there we were on all of Bon Jovi's websites.  We were blown away.  So honored…and so thrilled."

Threesound, a Virginia based quartet, seamlessly merges various genres of music to create something fresh. Through eclectic and lyrical songwriting, soulful grooves and soaring guitars, they deliver an organically original sound filled with fat backbeats and smooth sensibilities. Catchy songs that encompass rock, jazz, funk, pop, fusion and dance, Threesound brings the groove.

In addition to being interviewed on Dead.net and topping the ReverbNation Rock chart in Winchester, Virginia for over a year, music festival magazine Appalachian Jamwich describes Threesound with "Grooves that make you wanna dance, smooth instrumentals and Sublime like vocals."

With 200+ shows under their belt, Threesound has been making a splash in the mid-Atlantic since 2011. The last few years has put them in supporting spots for Kung Fu, Twiddle, TAUK and Jakubi to name a few. Threesound has worked with All Good Presents, Stanlee Ventures, Appalachian Jamwich, Heady Entertainment, and has proven to be a success in the festival circuit with appearances at Camp Barefoot 6, Mad Tea Party Jam 3, Pink Moon 5 & 6, a headlining slot at The Cove's 420 Campout 2013 & 2014, Pasture Palooza 5, Under The Stars 1 & 2 & Jerry Garcia's Birthday Bash at Trip's Farm in Terra Alta, WV.

That said, they have gone on to release their latest single "The Way the Rain Came". Check it out right HERE.

Miku has come a long way these past few years, from music software and internet mascot to international pop icon. The first MIKU EXPO concert tour in 2014 was a great milestone, and also tremendous fun. After months of efforts, the MIKU EXPO 2016 tour is finally on its way, with more cities than ever before! Of course, the success of the 2014 events made things easier, but putting together a Hatsune Miku show is still a challenging task both logistically and financially. With the hundreds of “Miku come to my town!” requests we receive every day, we know there is still a lot of work to do and ground to cover…. And in the case of Hatsune Miku, the phrase “we couldn’t do it without the fans” is to be taken literally!

That is why we wanted to give you, the fans, an opportunity to directly support MIKU EXPO, and at the same time participate in the movement. As thanks, we’ve put together a menu of very special Miku items and experiences, carefully chosen and designed, that you’ll find nowhere else! Exclusive menu items include an original wrist-watch, an OMOCAT collaboration T-shirt, and even a photo-shoot opportunity with Miku on stage! With every item purchased you will also receive a “MIKU EXPO SUPPORTER” pin badge, the mark of a true Miku fan! With your help we can make Miku Expo 2016 a huge success, and bring Miku’s next opportunities closer to reality!
