Melodic heavy metal rockers APPARITION 10:01 have not one but two single's out and about, with all new music in the works already! No touring or show plans as of yet, but they want to continue to write and release music of course! The band gives us an insight about who they are, the music they make and what they have ahead of them.
1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.
Drummer Jimmy Warner and myself, guitarist Dalen Buckalew, came from a previous band called Against Himself. After the demise of AH, we branched off and continued writing music together that would become Apparition 10:01.
2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?
The number 10:01 means something to Jimmy, perhaps we will never know. I (Dalen) am primarily known by the nickname Spooky. The word Apparition is just a cooler way of saying ghost. The two combined brought as to landing on the name Apparition 10:01.
3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any
local bands you could recommend?
Apparition 10:01 is based out of Denver, CO, where there is a very prominent music scene. An awesome band from Denver making big moves that I would like to personally recommend is Fox Lake.
4. How would you describe your style?
10:01’s style is a blend of melodic hard rock, alternative, and heavy metal!
5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?
We currently have 2 singles released. We debuted the project on Halloween 2023. You can expect catchy riffs, groovy drums, and vocals with great hooks!
6. Do you have any new music in the works?
We have plenty of music in the works! We have 4 that are completed and ready for release and continue to write/record. Definitely no shortage of ideas here!
7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?
At the moment we have no plans for touring or live performance, as Jimmy is a member of the United States military and resides in another state.
8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?
Apparition 10:01 will continue writing and releasing quality music, growing our online presence and fanbase worldwide. If the demand to see live is there, we will make it happen!
