Anisong heavyweights FLOW and Minori Chihara performed a special collaboration concert in Shanghai, China, on June 9, delivering a 2-hour-plus set of anime song favorites, including a surprise cover version of Hironobu Kageyama (JAM Project)’s Dragon Ball Z theme “CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA”. For the show’s encore, Minori Chihara joined FLOW onstage to sing along with the group’s hit song “DAYS” from the anime Eureka Seven.

Minori Chihara (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Beyond the Boundary, Sound! Euphonium) will perform at Anisong World Matsuri at Anime Expo 2017’s “Japan Super Live” concert on July 1, along with GARNiDELiA, ALI PROJECT, Konomi Suzuki, Mashiro Ayano, and angela.

FLOW (Naruto, CODE GEASS: Lelouch of the Rebellion) will return to the United States for Anisong World Matsuri at Otakon® 2017 in Washington D.C. on August 12 with Yousei Teikoku.
