JPop rock artist known as Risa Oribe or his stage namesake LiSA an acronym standing for "Love is Same All", she is known as a Japanese pop rock singer and songwriter known for performing songs for a variety of anime series including Sword Art Online and Demon Slayer, among others such as Angel Beats!, Solo Leveling, Fate/Zero, and even Spiderman Into the Spider-verse.

She would announce her U.S. performances for February and June of 2025, performing in the U.S. saying on various websites "This is my first solo show in NY and LA and my first show in Mexico in 9 years. I'm so excited! Thank you so much for waiting for us!"

With that she would debut her assortment of shows titling her run as "Another Great Day Tour", with June 24th 2025 being her official birthday day, and the day she would be headlining LA in Inglewood at the YouTube Theater to a sold out audience.

Her set list would include such songs from the anime's like Sword Art Online "Catch The Moment", Sword Art Online "Crossing Field", Sword Art Online "ADAMAS". Some visuals were shown on screen, showcasing various anime's and others would be lighting effects, with Lisa doing a few costume changes, with her even inviting a fan onto the stage, where she would sing to them and do a lap dance at the same time.

The theater was packed with fans, a lot of which cheered, danced, and waved their light sticks to the beat of the songs, lots of them changing the colors from blues, to red, green, pink, etc. It made the whole experience just light up even brighter.

Plus it just so happened to be Lisa's very own birthday with her band mates surprising her by singing "Happy BDay", along with receiving cup cakes as her cake, and taking some photos with the crowd on stage, as the show drew to a close.

It was a fun experience and great chance to catch such an iconic idol out of Japan, and one that has been known in such a way, that her joy of music, spread so far and wide, capturing so much whichever way she spreads her music.

Back in the spring deathcore monsters Carnifex would go on to announce a summer trek in celebration of the 15th anniversary of 2010's album "Hell Chose Me", in which they would play said album in parts, as well as some hits during their set. Support would come from Suffocation, Devourment, Distant, and Bodybox, along with Stages Of Decomposition.

Kicking off the tour with the first date being set off in Los Angeles, California in Downtown LA at The Belasco theater, the not sold out show, would still draw in a crowd, even with the craziness happening in and around LA and the world currently.

Thus fans would head inside after doors at 4:30PM and the openers Stages Of Composition would play off, drawing in quite a reaction, having what I heard from those who had seen them be impressed. I having missed their set sadly, felt a tad sadden by it.

Following them would be Bodybox a blend of death metal meets hardcore, a lot of 2 step dancing would take place throughout their performance. Their music being heavy duty working's, with some slam elements that kept it all in check really. They got the crowd's attention and kept that energy ever flowing.

After them would be Distant a deathcore band whose timing was missed by a minute, due to their merch line and other lines in general for the remainder of the evening, having grabbed some merchandise from them and the others, it caused me to missed their set. But luckily I could still hear them from outside, and they sounded brutal yet fun regardless.

After them would be death metal Devourment a death metal band whose time on stage was well spent. During their entire performance the floor was moving endlessly. No one stood still, that everyone was dancing about, or banging their heads, it was a good smooth performance that everyone even wanted the band to do an encore but they couldn’t due to time constraints.

Wrapping up the evening would be the co-headliners Suffocation, every time that they have played, that I have caught them, their set is always priceless. The crowd was flawless with such energy it was never ending. The mosh pit was constant, moving, headbanging, dancing, it was happening left and right. They are an act that is always so much fun to witness and have such a good time catching.

Ending the entirety of the night was Carnifex as soon as they hit the stage they played songs off their “Hell Chose Me” album, with other hits in-between. The crowd at first was a bit restless, slow, and not invested as the previous bands. But after a few songs that momentum came crashing back, that everyone kept pushing one another, banging their heads, jumping, crowd surfing, stage diving it was happening no matter where you looked. The band had ended the night with their cover of Slayer’s “Angel Of Death”, that got everyone insane! Having not seen them since 2010, catching them now was well worth the wait!

Overall this trek of a tour was well thought out and put together. All of the bands had time well spent, caught the audience’s attention, and everyone there had plenty of time to have a ton of fun!

Bearology is a cafe that has teamed up with Aniplex USA to bring to people and fandom of Demon Slayer to life, aboard the mugen train, based on the Demon Slayer film "Demon Slayer Mugen Train". This pop up cafe experience offered food with a specialty menu, featuring drinks and food options from the film; like Tanjiro's "Gentle Resolve Tea" that was a green apple mint tea, with Nezuko's "Sweet Bloom" being a strawberry lychee milk tea,  with the other characters like Zenitsu's "Thunderbolt Zest" as a Yuzu passion fruit lemonade, and Inosuke's "Boar Charge" of an iced hazelnut coffee.

The food options was a bento box with beef, rice, egg, red ginger, and a grilled onigiri, with a churro option for dessert. The rest of the menu available from Bearoloogy included ramen, popcorn chicken, various boba drinks, teas, etc. A variety of Demon Slayer merchandise was available for purchase including posters, hat, mini backpack, and toy plush of the character. You also received a train ticket featuring one of the characters, which in receiving a stamp, would grant you access to receiving 6 stamps in numerous ways, such as playing games, buying food, drink, or merch, to get a stamp, if not returning to the experience again and again. In the end having you win that mini backpack as a prize.

The indoor atmosphere was just like taking a ride on the mugen train itself, it felt so roomy at times. Music from the anime and film was played, with the anime played on the screen during everyone's visit. All in all though, this experience was a fun pop up to behold, making you feel like you were in the world that is Demon Slayer!

Disney's Frozen has since become an instant classic of a film and live on stage in the theme park at Disney's California Adventure with their adaption of the film. And then when the film took its way to New York on Broadway with Frozen the Musical, and its North American Tour, with yet another adaptation done by Tuts or the Theatre Under The Stars production, with their take on it, adding in some additional elements unlike the other versions but slightly. Taking place at the La Mirada Theater in California, it was a nice staff and theater set up, with proper organization, concessions, and the sort, that made everything run smoothly.

Theatre Under The Star's take on the hit musical was a mix up of Disney's California Adventure, it making use of the green screen effects, with all the rest being a lot like the Broadway and touring productions. The differences would be the introduction would feature the new take of the Trolls character creatures, with them singing the "Frozen Chant" song, that was not done live on stage with Broadway's or the touring versions. In those it was sung with the screen showing the title and northern lights shining brightly.

Another difference with the TUTs version would be the costumes, they are similar but indeed different to the Broadway and touring versions, those being more true to the film. Whereas these were variations of the films. For instance Anna the sister of Elsa, she did have her hair in pigtails like the film, but in the Broadway version she would have just her hair down, the pigtails being present slightly. Whereas with this TUTs version the pigtails would be present during the second half of the performance til the end.

Tuts cast was smaller but not by much, and each of the members did a fine job throughout portraying various roles during this performance. The main cast was portrayed perfectly, Anna and Elsa were played flawlessly, both child and adult takes of the two characters. While Krisoff and Sven were done quite entertainingly. The screen affects were well crafted as well, making use of adding scenery like buildings, weather changes, that sort of thing. It made the changes more elemental and smooth when in transition.

Having seen the Disney Frozen musical five times now, once on Broadway and a few with it's North American touring cast, this time around it felt different, yet still unique. A more cooler way to see it, with its effects, lighting, and snow fall, made it all breath freshness out of the coldness, that never bothered me anyway.
