After much speculation instigated by two video trailers released earlier this summer, Slayer - Tom Araya, Kerry King, Gary Holt and Paul Bostaph - in conjunction with Nuclear Blast Records and Prime Zero Productions, announces "Slayer:  The Repentless Killogy" motion picture and companion LP/CD, "The Repentless Killogy, Live At The Forum in Inglewood, CA."  Coming November 8, 2019, the narrative short film paired with Slayer's entire performance of its August 5, 2017 concert at the Los Angeles Forum will be available digitally and on Blu-ray, and the soundtrack from that concert will be released as both a two-disc vinyl and two CD packages.  In addition to the standard black vinyl, eight limited-edition colored vinyl configurations will be available:  red, gold and silver vinyl, red/black & orange splatter, red/orange swirl, red/black splatter, yellow/red corona, and black/white corona.  Pre-orders can be placed HERE.  Check out the trailer for this special movie release HERE

Revenge, murder, bloodshed and retribution.  The "Repentless Killogy" film was written and directed by BJ McDonnell, who conceived and directed the three brutal music videos - "You Against You," "Repentless," and "Pride in Prejudice"-  for Slayer's final studio album Repentless (2015).

"When we set out to do these initial three videos," said McDonnell, "we had the intention of continuing the next adventures of Slayer and Wyatt on a following album. But, Slayer announced that 'Repentless' was the final album and tour, so this story, the videos, and finally a full live concert at the end is a perfect wrap up of the 'Repentless' final tour.  This is the finale of Slayer.  This is the end of the monsters."

The "Repentless Trilogy" motion picture opens with the three music videos assembled as one chronological storyline and introduces the narrative's main character, Wyatt, a former Neo Nazi associated with a gang known as "The Hand Brotherhood," whose signature mark was a bloody handprint left after a murder had taken place.  Prior to the first music video, Wyatt had left the gang after he fell in love with Gina.  The two had gone into hiding to escape his grisly past and start a family, but The Hand Brotherhood was not going to allow that to happen, and Gina, pregnant with their first child, was savagely murdered as Wyatt was forced to look on.  The film then segues into the present-time narrative that sees Wyatt on the run from law enforcement and the Nazi gang, but now dedicated to eliminating The Hand Brotherhood and seeking retribution wherever he can.

"The Repentless Killogy" stars many of the actors who appeared in the original video series:  Jason Trost ("Beats of Rage," "Hatchet III") as Wyatt, Danny Trejo ("Machete," "From Dusk Til Dawn"), Richard Speight ("Band of Brothers," "Supernatural"), Derek Mears ("Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."), Jessica Pimentel ("Orange Is The New Black"), Tyler Mane ("X-Men," "Halloween !!"), Bill Moseley ("The Devil's Rejects," "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2"), Caroline Williams ("The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2," "Sharknado 4"), and Sean Whalen ("Twister," "The People Under The Stairs").

Part two of "The Repentless Killogy" features Slayer's entire live set performed at the Los Angeles Forum on August 5, 2017, and was directed by Wayne Isham who has directed videos for artists including Metallica, Foo Fighters, Michael Jackson, Kelly Clarkson, and Britney Spears.  Presented in front of one of the most striking stage productions of the band's career, Slayer performs fan-favorites including "South of Heaven," "War Ensemble," "Mandatory Suicide," "Dead Skin Mask," "Raining Blood," and "Angel of Death."

Slayer will begin The Final Campaign, the last leg of its Final World Tour on November 2, wrapping its touring career up with two shows at The Forum in Los Angeles on November 29 and 30.  Those final dates are below.

Horror miss-mash that is COFFIN CAROUSEL is a band that has been around for a while now, releasing their debut album and sophomore album "Face Melting Chunky Stuff" on Friday the 13th! Thus forth, this Australian band will be one to cause horrific matters on their own terms from here on out. Frontman vocalist/guitarist Howard Von Noise talks of the new album, plans, and much more about the band's in lucky day that is F13!

1. It's been 2 years since the first and only time speaking with Coffin Carousel, so what has the band been up since?

HVN: Indeed it has, thanks for being so awesome and hanging out again. We have been busy, we have opened for Wednesday 13 and Michale Graves (ex-Misfits) along with some fantastic shows in Australia. I have done a small run of acoustic shows playing Coffin Carousel songs solo and exploring a more intimate expression with the bands material live. I also spent 10x days with Mitch Marlow (New Years Day, In This Moment, Pupa Roach) at his studio in LA back in December 2017 and wrote 3x songs with him which turned out to be an EP called Breathe we released mid-2018. Oh and making more music videos!

2. During that time you went on to release your album "Between Death and Dead", it consisting of 18 tracks, how does the follow-up album "Face Melting Chunky Stuff", stack up?

HVN: Well I have another 18x tracks to drop with ‘Face Melting Chunky Stuff’. I spent some time thinking more about the conveyance of this album as appose to ‘Between Dead & Dead’ which lyrically, I just let flow out from me as an expression from my intuition at the time. FMCS touches on some residual themes from BD&D lyrically, however I wanted to explore more horror themes in general and deliver a message of growth, strength and progression of the band’s sound to be a bold statement, stripping away any expectations from myself on what I felt it should sound like. I let it come alive over three years to be its own monster and just embraced who I am as a person from my own life experiences, what I enjoy, and a lot less concerned of what people think of the bands art. I feel it’s a 100% stronger album as far as the songs themselves and it works as a complete art piece from start to end.

3. Now would you say that this follow-up album, is a continuation in anyway to the previous album, in term's of imagery or story or anything within?

HVN: Yes it is a continuation of my character visually, and musically coming into a sense of mastery within myself in my creative expression to a form of originality I am very proud of. I showed myself a new side to me I didn’t know existed by allowing myself to be authentic 100% through the song writing process. Listening back to the mixes once they were completed, it really dawned on me what it was I had created with the songs as a whole. Up until that point I was just focusing on making the songs as cool as possible, it wasn’t until I was sequencing the track listing I stumbled upon an underlying theme of a character progression I wasn’t aware of initially, which from that point, then inspired me to conceptualize the cover artwork and the look of the packaging for FMCS. All the sounds that people who know the band for are still present, but now enhanced with a lot more production time I spent with my good friend Julian Renzo mixing the songs at his studio.

4. "Open Up Them Stitches", is a track taken from the album, made into a single and video, tell me about them?

HVN: That song was a standout to me along with Julian also who mixed the album, representing the energy and lyrical attitude the album showcases. It has a good classic Coffin Carousel song feel which made it a no-brainer to create a music video for also. I originally wasn’t going to make any music videos for FMCS. I initially wanted people and fans to just listen to the music only and allow their own visualization to play out to how they wanted to perceive it. However I have been working with a good friend Liv who is helping me with some PR for the album, and she recommended I do at least one music video to help her promote the album release…so I made a music video with another good friend Daniel Armstrong, which I have been wanting to work with for years on a music video for the band. I called in on some friends to creepy go-go dance for me and got the guys I have playing live currently all together and we had a fun evening shooting all the ideas and enjoying each other’s creative vibes. Working with friends, the way I like to work.

5. Will this album have any other tracks of choice to receive the same ordeal?

HVN: I have since decided I want to make a music video for the song  The Creepy Creepy. I have some ideas that have popped in my head since Open Up Them Stitches has been released. For this next video though, I would want to push all the horror visuals to the max. I am an independent artist so I want to embrace that freedom and not limit what people expect from me as an artist, or what industry people believe I should stick with along with anyone else who has an opinion on what I should do. I feel right in the headspace to go back to my horror roots for FMCS and push new limits for the band and myself from what Coffin Carousel has previously released.

6. Just like your last album, this one will also receive a Friday the 13th release date, so will this date be "the date" of choice for all Coffin Carousel releases?

HVN: It’s a fun idea! For full length albums I will have to say I do plan to stick to a Friday 13th release date indeed. Again, another awesome fact to remaining independent as an artist, being free to make the choice to do so. As long as a Friday 13th falls in the near future to when I have the next album completed and mixed. It will happen, no doubt.

7. Besides your own works, the band has done cover songs as well, but would you consider doing a cover from the film "Hocus Pocus", and the track "I Put A Spell On You"?

HVN: Hrmm, can’t say I would. I have chosen cover songs to record and release based on the inspiration they had in my musical development, or out of respect for an artist I wish to pay homage to. The same way Metallica, or Marilyn Manson have done so throughout their careers.

8. How does the band plan to celebrate Friday the 13th, not just the one in September but the one in December as well?

HVN: Possibly with a new music video and maybe a rad hometown show. If not eating some awesome vegan burgers and watching Evil Dead 3 Army’s of Darkness.

9. Do you ever see the band to go as far as possibly titling a future song or EP or album after F13?

HVN: Album no…song maybe. For some reason I am thinking it would need to feature an awesome horror artist or a collaboration with someone I would want to work with to make it super special and most awesome to be worthy to carry that title! Maybe Eminem or Rob Zombie, I say.

10. During our last interview, you mentioned of naming the band after a song demo, named Coffin Carousel will we ever hear said song your band was named after?

HVN: Oh yes, you have a good memory! I have in fact already released that song which was originally titled Coffin Carousel. The song was on the debut EP Fiend [2015]. The song is Here To Betray. It’s a killer song! Very raw, but an important and necessary demo process for a cool band name to be born from.

11. How would you say this sophomore album compares and contrasts from your debut last album?

HVN: There is a more bold attitude for FMCS in my vocal performance, lyrics and production. Working with Julian Renzo to mix the album was awesome as I have known him for years and he knows all the bands and styles I like as he has similar tastes. I got to spend time in the studio with him making choices on sounds and parts of the songs. He also introduced me to a friend of his Daphne Vargas who helped me create the album skit tracks at her studio that feature on the album, just like on 90's rap albums, she later ended up singing backing vocals on most of the songs as well as contributing her own lead parts, she was a great inspiration for me to want to make the songs extra special and adding new elements to the band’s sound. Daphne introduced R&B vocal styles and played a big part helping an urban feel come to light with the songs along with classic horror sounds and orchestral parts I had built for the album. Contrast is huge, the coolness factor came more to light along with FMCS having a unique and original sound overall. I also nailed the Belinda Carlisle cover song Leave A Light On…It is the tea.

12. What other sort of plans of havoc does the band have in-store for the remainder of 2019?

HVN: I am looking forward to getting out and playing the new songs live and stepping up the bands live show when possible to the way I have always wanted it to be working with independent budgets. I have a good crew coming together in the background which all enjoy and share a kindred liking to horror in music and what the band stands for and represents. I will do one more music video for this album down the line, maybe in 2019 once the ideas have more time to progress.

13. Would you like to add or say anything more?

HVN: Only that I would like fans and newcomers discovering Coffin Carousel to spend one hour of their 2019 and listen to FMCS start to end and let themselves get lost in the album, remember to dream, imagine and enjoy that there is a band called Coffin Carousel that has stayed true to its direction and passion for creepy cool rock music with the intention of longevity. Oh, and stay awesome to yourself and others please.

Heavy hard hitters SATIN BANSHEE have got an debut EP out, with merchandise following suite, with shows underway soon enough. The band even goes on more so to discuss this EP, playing some shows and just wanting to get themselves out there for all to hear!

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

We are 3 close friends from the same town who Started Satin Banshee about 7 months ago. We all come from fairly diverse backgrounds musically but we are able to work together well!

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

It actually came from one of those band name generator websites, I remember seeing it and thinking that it would be a great name for a band like what we are and kept it in my back pocket for about 4 years.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We are from the Chicagoland area in Northern Illinois in the United States. The music scene here is very diverse and broad but there are not too many bands like us. Lots of emo, indie, and metal in our local scene.

4. How would you describe your style?

It’s hard to come up with a succinct definition for us so I typically just use the term “heavy garage death glam”. I believe that it provides a pretty accurate caricature. As a separate note we are very big on loud, high energy live shows, often trying to get the audience involved if we can.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

We currently have our debut 5 song EP released. If you like garage rock-esque production and LOTS of fuzz you may enjoy what we are doing!

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Yes! We currently have 3 singles planned on being released within the next year, followed by a full album.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

We have mainly been focusing on writing since our last show in late July, but we do expect to get on more bills as 2019 winds down.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Just trying our hardest to do what we love for as long as possible!

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

Our EP is available on all streaming platforms and though we haven’t printed physical merch yet, we do have some designs available for purchase on our Teepublic page!

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

That we do it for them! we want to create something that listeners can come back to time and time again!

Alternative rockers ALDER LIGHTS is a trio band who have lots of energy with such angst that they will be around for quite sometime. Thus, they have gone on to talk about their music and the plans ahead.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

We started off as a couple friends looking to play some music together, we weren’t trying to be a band. As we kept playing we kept taking this one step further until it became our main focus in life. Jake Goldberg (guitar, vocals) and Marcus Barkac (drums) started the band and then a couple years later added Kaleb Barkac (bass, brother of Marcus). We take pride in what we do and refuse to rush things out for the sake of having something out in the world. We were a band for 3 years before we released a single song followed weeks later by our first album. Almost two years later we released a song. Now 18 months later we’re beginning our second album cycle. We’ve taken our time to build something we’re proud of and believe it’s time to make music our main focus.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

Ultimately there is no meaning behind the band’s name. We wanted a name you could search and no other bands or groups would show up. Ideas and mindsets change over the years so we felt it was important to have a name that didn’t tie us to a specific mindset or time in our lives, but rather one where we felt the freedom to take it any direction we’d like.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

The band is based out of Billings, MT. There’s a surprisingly large amount of talented musicians and bands in our town covering all different genres. We recommend Grant Jones as well as Dead Presleys.

4. How would you describe your style?

Our sound has shifted quite a bit between our debut and sophomore albums. To generalize, we describe ourselves as alternative rock. This new album, Darkest Cameo, is higher energy and more experimental than our previous albums. We always want to find a balance of being creative and having something people want to sing along to.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

We released our first album, Here’s To Fate, in 2016 with 9 tracks total. In 2018 we released a single, Creatures, as the first with our three-piece lineup. Expect our sound to keep evolving, have lots of energy, and for our songs to (hopefully) get stuck in your head.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Yes, we just released our first new song in 18 months. It’s called “Pieces” and it’s available wherever you listen to music. We also have a full-length album, Darkest Cameo, coming out November 8, 2019. We plan on releasing at least one more single before the album drops.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

We’re playing an album release show Friday November 8 in our hometown of Billings, MT. Outside of that, we’re working with management on additional shows but nothing official as of now.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

More. We want to do more and be more. We want to play more shows, tour more, and keep writing. For now, we’re deep into rehearsing these new songs as we gear up for its release. Regardless of the success of the band, we’ll keep creating and performing because it’s what we love to do. The more people who join us in that journey, the more fun it’ll be.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

We’re on all (or most) digital platforms so you should be able to find us wherever you listen to music. We’re working on getting an online store setup for those who would like to order merchandise or purchase physical copies of our albums.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

We would like listeners to remember they’re not alone. Whether our music helps soundtrack a joyous season in life or comforts in a dark season, we want people to feel like we’re right there with them to help enhance their life.

UNDERWING is a mix mash of the 90's grunge era, blended in with progressive rock and stoner genres as well. Take their handful of releases over time and these guys have got a lot to offer the listener. With that, the band goes on to say some thing's about themselves and more.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

The band started in early 2016 when vocalist Enyeto Kotori decided it was time to realise his musical vision. He brought Joachim Walle Michalsen on drums from his previous band, and found Thomas Myhren and Magnus Christiansen to play guitars, while Enyeto himself manned the bass. In the fall of 2018 Enyeto decided it was time to pass on the bass to The Merf so he could be free to sing his heart out on stage.

 2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

The band shares its name with the Underwing moth caterpillar. The transformation they represent resonates with the bandmembers, and is also a theme in some lyrics. The caterpillar has a skull-like motif as a defence mechanism, which appears as a mask in out first music video, Sunless Seed, and other places in our artwork.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We're based in Arendal, Norway. The music scene is pretty good for such a small town, but the metal scene isn't exactly huge. There are a few bands though, if you like thrash Vorbid are definitely worth checking out. If you want the more stereotypical Norwegian experience, Vanvidd has you covered with folk-inspired black metal.

4. How would you describe your style?

We play progressive grunge. If that doesn't tell you much, imagine this; If Black Sabbath and Alice in Chains had a lovechild that was adopted by Tool, who happened to be neighbors with Soundgarden and Motorpsycho the result would be Underwing.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

We released our debut EP Kaela Upsweep in May 2017, and June 2019 we followed that up with Spirals on vinyl. In between the two EP's there were three digital singles, I am the Sun, Where Gods Conspire and The Hoof. Each release is very different both in terms of style and sound, but there are underlying themes  exploring the dualities of existence and the spirals of repetitive events in life.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

We're always working on something, there's a new song just around the corner so keep an eye out on our Facebook page. After that there's another single planned for later this year, and we have even more in the works for next year.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

We were busy gigging most of the summer, then had about a month of from live shows to focus on writing and recording. We're playing gigs again now, and will be travelling across Norway again this fall and winter. Next summer will hopefully be even busier than this one, plans have been set in motion.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Keep doing more of what we're doing, only more and bigger!

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

You can find our music on all streaming platforms, or if you want to buy it you can visit our Bandcamp.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

It's even better live.

Newly Discovered Pokémon of Galar

Cramorant

Category: Gulp Pokémon

Type: Flying/Water

Height: 2’7”

Weight: 39.7 lbs.

Ability: Gulp Missile

When it comes to food, Cramorant will try to swallow anything it can fit in its mouth. Sometimes it will swallow things that aren’t its intended prey, spitting them out once it realizes its mistake. A Cramorant can be forgetful, but it will never forget a Trainer it grows to trust. However, even Trainers will face fierce attacks from their Cramorant if they try to steal its food. Cramorant’s Ability, Gulp Missile, is a new Ability that can be triggered during battles. After Cramorant uses Surf or Dive, it will return with a catch in its mouth. If it takes damage while in this state, Cramorant will retaliate by spitting out its catch at that opponent.

Polteageist

Category: Black Tea Pokémon

Type: Ghost

Height: 8”

Weight: .9 lbs.

Ability: Weak Armor

Polteageist’s body is made from black tea, and it’s said to have a very distinct aroma and flavor. It will only allow a Trainer it trusts to sample its tea, although drinking too much can lead to indigestion. Many Polteageist make their homes inside hotels and restaurants where they disguise themselves and hide among the tableware. Because they can pour their power into leftover tea and create even more of their kind, they’re often treated as pests.

Alcremie

Alcremie is known to be able to create whipped cream from its hands. There are several variations of color and flavor for this whipped cream, as well as the decorations on its body.

Pokémon Camp

Trainers can enjoy a moment of relaxation and fun with the Pokémon in their party through Pokémon Camp. When Trainers watch their Pokémon as they have fun camping and playing together, they might discover a new side to them that they don’t normally get to see. Trainers can get to know their Pokémon better by playing with them using a Poké Toy or a variety of bouncing balls.

In Pokémon Camp, Trainers will be able to cook curry, a popular dish in the Galar region. Trainers can create a variety of curries, depending on what Berries and other ingredients they choose to use. Players will need to fan the flames until they’re strong enough to cook the curry and then stir the pot just right to make the best batch.  Once the curry is done cooking, both Trainer and Pokémon can enjoy it together. There are many types of curries, so Trainers can try to cook them all and complete their Curry Dex.

Pokémon Camp is also a way for Trainers to connect with other players in the Wild Area. Trainers can join the camp of another player or have other players visit their camp until a total of four players are gathered. Together they can interact with Pokémon or even make curry. If a player comes across a tent while using local communication or when connected to the internet, it’s a sign that another player has set up their Pokémon Camp there. A Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to visit other players’ Pokémon Camps using an internet connection. A membership is not required to play with other players using local communication features.

Explore Galar in Style

As Trainers travel through the Galar region, they will come across boutiques and hair salons. By visiting them, they can buy new clothes or change their hairstyle. Trainers will be able to choose from many different clothing items, hairstyles, and even makeup options as they explore Galar in style.

Create a League Card

Pokémon Trainers in the Galar region make League Cards for themselves. These cards provide detailed information about the Trainer and are traded and given out across the region. Players can use the Card Maker function of Rotomi to customize their own cards. The Card Maker will enable players to edit the background, frame, and much more on their own unique League Cards. League Cards received from other Trainers can be reviewed in a player’s album.

Connect with Players Using Surprise Trades

In Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, Trainers can use the Y-Comm to do things like engage in Link Battles or Trade Pokémon. Another feature available on the Y-Comm menu is Surprise Trade. The player just needs to select a Pokémon from their Boxes that they’re willing to trade, and a trading partner will automatically be found as they continue their adventure. These trades can be carried out with players from around the world if the player is using the internet or through local communication with someone around them. Trainers won’t know what Pokémon they’ll get in exchange for their Pokémon until they actually receive it.

A Nintendo Switch Online (paid) membership is required to participate in Link Trades and Link Battles using the internet. A membership is not needed for local communication use.

Choose a Pokémon Partner in the Pokémon TCG: Galar Collection

As Trainers await the highly anticipated release of the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield video games, they can also look forward to the new Pokémon TCG: Galar Collection, which includes one of three promo cards showcasing Grookey, Scorbunny, or Sobble. In addition, the box includes a matching collector’s pin, one oversize card featuring the Legendary Pokémon Zacian or Zamazenta as a brand-new Pokémon V, and four Pokémon TCG booster packs.
