KOBRA AND THE LOTUS' has released a brand new single from the upcoming album "Prevail II", titled "Let Me Love You!". In celebration of the video's premiere, this track is not an ordinary track but a very special Japanese bonus version of the song "Let Me Love You!".

KOBRA explains the story behind the song: "We're so excited to release another brand spankin' new taste of our hard rock infused metal! This track was one of the very first musical collaborations done at Hansen studios in Denmark. This song helped us nail down the heavy rock elements that would soon begin to lace its way through the sound of both  "Prevail I and II". The original demo version can be found as a bonus acoustic on "Prevail II". If you never had a love song dedicated to you.....you've got one now. This one's for you!"

"Dear (insert your name here), I cherish all the shadows of your past, even the darkest ones. Every time you try to run away it will only bring me closer. There are pieces you don't like, hiding all the grace of being human I might find. "Let Me Love You."

What can I say?! This track has been hard to keep a secret for two years!! We hope you will also enjoy this very special video we've worked hard to create. With a fusion of Manga and live performance, we've really jumped in with both feet to bring to you 'Let Me Love You' in Japanese!!! Tanoshinde kudasai !!"

Bay area trio BLACK MAP has released a surprise EP titled "Trace The Path" via Entertainment One. The band also drops a music video today for their new track "Let Me Out," (directed by Anthony J Garay) exclusively via Loudwire.com over HERE.

"We shot this video in the backroom of a bar called Homestead in San Francisco which was first opened all the way back in 1902. 5 years ago, Mark and I were having beers at this very bar and decided that we should start a band together, so this space was kind of the inception of Black Map," says vocalist and bassist Ben Flannagan. "We thought that it would be fitting to return to that spot and film the video for "Let me Out.""

The new EP serves as the follow-up to the band's critically acclaimed "In Droves" album which was released in 2016. Revolver Magazine said it "combined chunky, post-hardcore riffing and big-bottom bass lines with plenty of melody and atmosphere.” PROG Magazine called it a “strong second LP from progressive super group.”

After the release of "In Droves", the band went on to play over 100 shows in support. Black Map was used to playing the club scene before but soon found themselves on stage at mainstream American rock festivals. In 2017 the band performed at Chicago Open Air, Aftershock, Rock Allegiance, Louder Than Life and Rise Above festivals. Black Map was also proud to be nominated for "Best New Artist" at the 2017 Loudwire Music Awards.

During their time on the road, the band did not slow down their creative flow. On the bus and in dressing rooms the band hashed out new ideas, riffs, and lyrics that quickly amounted to more than a few completed songs. The band booked some studio time in between festivals with producer Mike Watts in Long Island, NY and got to work while recording one more song with longtime collaborator Aaron Hellam in Oakland upon their return home.

Singer Ben Flanagan says "It was a beautiful challenge to put only four songs out at once in EP form and have them not only stand on their own but also work together and really say something and be powerful and meaningful."

As they continue forward, ever united in that original pureness of intentionality, Black Map covers bigger ground. Bursts of ambiance and mellow contemplation compliment the broadly shaped melodic noise. Unafraid experimentation gives way to a strong dichotomy, to new elements, all within that original structure of Black Map’s monster riffing.

Sonic treasure hunters who study Black Map will find themselves transported to the spirit of the early 90's rock resurgence when bands jettisoned the superficial fluff of the previous decade without wandering too far into dense pretension and delivered authentic and heavy music. Black Map combine flourishes of beauty alongside the bombast and a modern sensibility that nevertheless will not sacrifice its raw realness.

"Trace The Path" is available on all streaming platforms and digital outlets right now HERE.

Alice Cooper has released a new single turned video for the song titled "The Sound Of A". The song has a special meaning; it is, in fact, the first song that Alice Cooper wrote entirely on his own back in 1967.

The song was forgotten until Dennis Dunaway, the bass player of the original Alice Cooper Band, rediscovered it and played it to Alice, suggesting he consider it for his new album.

What a discovery — with its psychedelic sound, swirling guitars, and the mysterious Hammond organ, it is one of the most hypnotic songs on Paranormal.

Small Town Titans has released their cover of the Classic Christmas song "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch," giving the already darkly playful track an even more sinister edge. Originally premiered on Loudwire, "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch" was filmed live in the studio by Springwood Productions. The band has also released the song on Patreon, a direct to fan social media platform, for their biggest supporters. Subscribing to the group for just a dollar a song on Patreon grants fans new songs first and puts their names in the credits of future YouTube videos.

"We wanted to do something different for the holiday season this year, so we decided to revisit 'You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,' a tune we had covered for holiday shows in the past. Other than the Misfits, we really haven't heard a rock band of any kind cover this song. We rearranged our take on it together and created a dark, bluesy, sinister version, and we are very proud of the result, captured live in the studio." - Jonny Ross

CANNIBAL CORPSE, has released a new song their sixth in fact off their new album "A Skeletal Domain" called "The Murderer's Pact" via empire sound portal, Loudwire. Comments Loudwire: "The band has been spewing out death metal for over twenty-five years, and A Skeletal Domain, much like CANNIBAL CORPSE's first twelve albums, takes no prisoners. Clocking in at over five minutes, 'The Murderer's Pact' showcases some awesome musicianship from the band's instrumental sections along with an interesting song structure. For fans of George 'Corpsegrinder' Fisher, you're in for a treat, as well. The vocalist also delivers with his trademark grunt, showing no signs of vocal rust whatsoever." Check out the song HERE.

TRAPT is proud to release their new, acoustic version of #1 hitting track “Headstrong on Loudwire today. Scheduled for a September 23rd release via Crash Collide Records, ‘The Acoustic Collection’ will feature acoustic adaptations of some of their biggest hits. Fans can now pre-order the album on iTunes HERE.

"The Acoustic Collection" really focuses on the songs we have written throughout the years. I think by stripping every song down to the basic instruments, it really allows the emotion in each song to be felt. We have played acoustic sets at radio stations, meet and greets with fans and have even done a few full acoustic shows and with each performance, our fans asked for an album of acoustic songs. I really feel like we delivered exactly what they had in mind. This album is definitely the most organic sounding album we have ever done for obvious reasons. We were able to create an album that breathes and moves without the aid of too much production, just natural instruments the way they were meant to be heard." - Chris Taylor Brown
