The hardcore scene was dominated by a wide range of acts and those that followed them including Terror. Terror has been around for quite some time and has released its series of albums including its sixth full-length "Live By The Code" which in itself displays such raw power and energetic portions it's hard to resist. This release goes down the lines of sounding a lot like their previous works going back to the days of "Keepers Of The Faith" crosses "Lowest Of The Low". With this it mixes hard energy with groovy rhythms that pulls in that Terror momentum that you've learned to know.

Terror's vocalist Scott Vogel is aggressive and hungry for more with his pissed off screams and yells that keeps the mosh pit hardcore dancing addicts entertained. Lyrically the passion is shown like never before. The themes of "Live By The Code" is layered with honest to goodness material, that lets you know that this band is the real deal. Whether it’s dealing  through difficult times like "Cold Truth", or the retaliation against mediocrity with "Invasion", or the fight for equality with "One Blood", there is that edge. Even the negative tone of "Hard Lessons", had such a positivity it can be seen as an opportunity rather than something misread.

Terror's abilities are without a doubt here in all shape, size, and form, this is an absolute triumph that these guys can claim as their own doing, Thus this packs in all there is to known about Terror.

TERROR has released a new music video for “Live By The Code”, the title track from their forthcoming album, out April 9th. Frontman Scott Vogel stands firmly behind the belief that hardcore is about more than music… it’s about community, respect and sticking to your roots. Vogel comments, “This video is a perfect look at the energy and heart of Terror. When I first found the scene this energy gave me a feeling that I never felt before and it still moves me to this day. Shot in Germany this past fall, this show was one to remember.” Check out the video for it HERE.

Victory Records is proud to welcome TERROR to the Victory family. They will release their sixth studio album titled Live By The Code in April, 2013 in the US and Canada. Check out the Victory Records’ webstore for new merch designs- HERE.

TERROR vocalist Scott Vogel comments, “When I was in high school, I would go to ‘Home of the Hits Records’ in Buffalo, NY and every week I would check for new Victory releases. Growing up, Victory Records always had the best hardcore bands, period. They had this awesome packaging and vibe that I loved. INTEGRITY, STRIFE, BLOODLET, EARTH CRISIS -it was a fucking amazing time for hardcore. Later, I met Tony when he came to Buffalo to see SNAPCASE. We stayed in contact and made plans for my second band DESPAIR, but soon after we broke up. Victory and my band BURIED ALIVE worked together for years. They also had HATEBREED, BLOOD FOR BLOOD, ALL OUT WAR and REACH THE SKY, all bands I've always respected and held in the highest regard. This summer I hung out with Tony and we had a wild night in Chicago. We talked about the good and bad of hardcore today and just had a blast. No business talk, no nonsense. We were under contract at the time so there wasn't even room for it. As we got ready to release Live By The Code, TERROR and Century Media debated on how to release the record right and VICTORY RECORDS seemed like the best fit. Tony and I are both insane. We both come from the same place. We both scratch and fight to stay afloat. We still believe in the essence of hardcore and still love WARZONE. This is pretty fucking exciting.”

Vogel claims Live By The Code “hits harder than Keepers Of The Faith”, calling it the “dirtiest, rawest and most hardcore record we’ve done since Lowest Of The Low”. While the album is set for an April, 2013 release date, fans can expect to pre-order their copy of the album soon along with other merch packages. A brand new music video for their album-titled single, “Live By The Code” is also on the horizon, so stay tuned.
