Bristol-based alternative-rock trio, Oxygen Thief have shared the new riff-ladened single "Graffiti; Irony; Lists", alongside announcing full details of their new album, "Confusion Species", set for release on November 16th through Xtra Mile Recordings.

Confusion Species will be available on limited edition 12 inch transparent blue and orange with black splatter vinyl - Available from Oxygen Thief on tour, as well as a very limited amount through the Xtra Mile webstore. "Confusion Species", will also be available on 12 inch transparent blue at retail. Pre-Order here: https://oxygenthief.lnk.to/confusionspecies.

It’s been just over four years since the release of Oxygen Thief’s second album, "The Half-Life Of Facts", and the world has changed a lot in that time. In fact, a lot has changed since Barry Dolan started the project in Bristol back in 2006, and the 11 tracks of "Confusion Species" are the sound of him trying to make sense of it all, rather than be overwhelmed, lost and consumed by the sludge and noise of this modern, post-Brexit, post-Trump world.

“Everyone is constantly bombarded with things in the news and on social media" says guitarist and vocalist, Barry Dolan. “Your phone’s going off all the time and there’s a constant need to keep up with things. As someone who tries to be politically engaged, I want to stay informed, but there’s a point where that tide just becomes overwhelming.”

California based indie rock group Fellow Robot have just announced a vinyl pre-order for their debut album, "The Robot’s Guide to Music Vol. 1". The band have teamed up with Seattle based indie label Donut Sounds for the vinyl release, just a few months since the futuristic album released digitally to critical acclaim. LA Music Critic / Indie Voice Blog called the album, "Simple yet majestic…[showcasing] the potential for great things…" The release of the album saw the unveiling of several thematic music videos from the band, most notably, the insanely animated video for "Tools of War." Fans can catch the video (directed by Michelle and Justine Prebich) right HERE.

Donut Sounds have put together several pre-order packages for the vinyl release of Volume 1. Fans can select between black and orange vinyl, as well as new Fellow Robot shirts and enamel pins. Fans can access the pre-order now via www.donutsounds.com.

The band have several local live shows announced for Fall 2018. Dates are as follows:

9/10 - Que Sera, Long Beach, CA
10/23 - Fingerprints, Long Beach, CA (VINYL RELEASE SHOW)
11/21 - 4th St. Vine, Long Beach, CA

"[The Robots Guide To Music] was a really fun and amazing body of music to record," says drummer and main collaborator Luis, who also performs as "Ringo" in Beatles tribute band Britain’s Finest. "We worked with some of Long Beach's best musicians and it was always a treat to be in studio, have a drink or two, and share stories. The recording part was a breeze—when you have musicians that know what they're doing, all you really gotta do is set up a mic, and let them go at it. We actually recorded 30+ songs (the rest for Volumes 2 and 3), so there was a lot of time in studio."

The Robot’s Guide to Music Vol. 2 is expected to see an early 2019 release. To stay current with all things Fellow Robot be sure to follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Tony Foresta checks in, "We’re really excited to be teaming up with our brothers in High on Fire to put together this sweet package of killer bands. We couldn’t be more pleased with how everything came together.
