Dynamic Harajuku-core sensation HANABIE. have released their latest song, "Bari Bari Buddy," along with its music video. 

Written by vocalist Yukina and guitarist/vocalist Matsuri, the single serves as the ending theme song for the upcoming anime series Reincarnated as a Sword II. Speaking about the song, the band said:

"We’ve created an epic, larger-than-life song that perfectly captures Fran and Teacher’s grand adventure! The chorus is something everyone can sing along to, so I hope you’ll join us and get hyped together.

And through this series, I hope we can all become totally badass Buddies!"

POWER TRIP return from what feels like an eternity – today they debut their triumphant and scorching new double single “Precinct 3” / “Scavenger” - the first of many to come. Fans have waited nearly a decade for these new tracks – songs that they thought might never come. And yet somehow, despite an improbable build up and truly unfathomable expectations, Power Trip have managed to deliver, again– this time plotting a new course for the future. The next chapter begins now. 

“Precinct 3” / “Scavenger” are the first new recordings of a new era for Power Trip in the wake of the passing of Riley Gale in 2020. And despite the challenge of living up to the legend they created in their rearview, with a decade of hard-fought wins, a succession of hugely-attended and high profile tours, and eventually a Grammy nomination, “Precinct 3” / “Scavenger” charts a bold path forward. Recorded in Carrollton, TX at Empire Sound, the release marks the band’s maiden voyage with uber-producer Jacob Hansen (Arch Enemy, Volbeat, Amon Amarth, The Black Dahlia Murder, etc.), who maintains the grit of their previous work while adding a new sheen to the band’s fresh ideas. 

“Recording worked out really well for us because he has the knowledge of making these big records, but also comes from the late 80’s extreme metal underground,” recalls drummer Chris Ulsh. “We're tough to please because we want something that sounds current, but most importantly we want it to sound like us, however that comes out.”

“Precinct 3” sees Power Trip roaring back with all of the teeth-gnashing bloodthirst that you’d expect from a newly-untethered feral animal. Anchored by the propulsive drumming of longtime member Chris Ulsh and wildly impressive attack of guitarists Blake Ibanez and Nick Stewart, “Precinct 3” relies on a tremolo-picked riff with jarring start-stops that speeds along at a dizzying 205 BPM, braking for dual riffing and a short bridge section before entering a signature Power Trip half-speed beatdown. The track follows similar lyrical paths as Power Trip’s previously well-read themes, this time examining the dangers of unchecked authority inspired by the current socio-political climate. 

“When we were writing this, we wondered what Riley would have wanted to write about,” recalls founding member and guitarist Blake Ibanez. “So once we decided on that approach, it honestly came really easily– the lyrics were flowing and it just felt like the right way to kick off this new chapter and honor him. I think he would have been stoked to see it come to fruition.”

“Scavenger” is a snarling mid-tempo onslaught that fits firmly in Power Trip’s wheelhouse, sitting comfortably side-by-side with other fan favorites like “Soul Sacrifice” and “Crossbreaker.” Opening with a creepy-crawly riff over a strutting drumbeat, “Scavenger” sees Power Trip venturing into new territory with epic mid-choruses, bridge sections that further explore the deliciously evil main riff, and a mid-section breakdown meant to divorce fans from reality. Frontman Seth Gilmore handles the lyrical content with an unchecked rancor, delving into the phenomenon of people who are willing to attach themselves to another’s hard work, reaping rewards without the dedication or due diligence. 

“There are people out there that ride along and develop some sort of self-importance from association,” admits Gilmore. “And from there, they wield that in the wrong directions. Or maybe even against the same people they leeched it from.” 

“Precinct 3” and “Scavenger” were produced by Jacob Hansen and co-produced by Blake Ibanez. They arrive today via the band’s new label home Blue Grape Music. “Precinct 3” comes with an arresting video directed by Eric Richter. Both singles are available across digital retailers, and will be released as a limited 7” which is available for pre-order on Power Trip and Blue Grape Music’s webstores. Bullet For My Valentine will release their new album, Social Apocalypse, on March 19, 2027, via Spinefarm. The announcement arrives with a towering new single by the samename. "Social Apocalypse" is the band's first new song in four years; on the title track, Matt Tuck rages against "the end of the world as we know it," when "all hope has faded."

Thematically, Social Apocalypse combines the bare-faced lyrical introspection of people weathered and worn by the modern world with wide-eyed observations on a planet that feels as if it is coming off the rails at every turn. "Everything in life is changing at such a rapid pace, and it is hard to find a great deal of positivity when you look at events in the world," Tuck says. "People are being pitted against each other. The world is full of conflict instead of unity. As a father, I look at what the world is like for younger people, and how completely different it is now."

Working once more with producer Carl Bown — a veteran of four Bullet albums, alongside work with Sleep Token, While She Sleeps, Malevolence and more — each new album track was diligently scrutinized, constructed, and polished to its immaculate final form. "Carl doesn’t let you settle," Tuck notes. "He is always ready to speak up, push and challenge you to be the best version of you."

There are two collaborations on Social Apocalypse – a rarity for Bullet that brings thrilling new dynamics to the record — with Against The Current vocalist Chrissy Costanza stepping in to duet on "In The Absence Of You," and a hair-raising vocal turn from Lorna Shore’s Will Ramos on "I Don't Trust Tomorrow."

World-renowned Brazilian death metal force CRYPTA enter a new era with "A Portrait of Decay," the first track to showcase the band's new lineup and offer a glimpse into what fans can expect from their future sound. After announcing Victoria Villarreal as their new permanent guitarist in April this year, completing the four-piece lineup alongside Fernanda Lira (bass, vocals), Luana Dametto (drums), and Tainá Bergamaschi (guitar), the band now unleashes this brand new track, building anticipation for CRYPTA's next chapter. "A Portrait of Decay" hits like an aggressive death metal steamroller while exploring dissociation as a means of enduring pain and suffering.

The track was recorded in Belgium in June this year and engineered, mixed, and mastered by Yarne Heylen at Project Zero Studio. The artwork was created by Brazilian artist Marcos Miller. "A Portrait of Decay" is out now worldwide on all major streaming platforms and as a strictly limited 7" vinyl release.

All of this is brought to life by an intensely aggressive yet atmospheric and melancholic instrumental attack, paired with the spine-tingling vocals of Fernanda Lira, one of the most outstanding artists in today's extreme metal scene. The track arrives just in time for CRYPTA to kick off their North American tour with Arch Enemy, The Black Dahlia Murder, Septicflesh, and Thrown Into Exile, beginning on October 5 in Riverside, CA.

"A Portrait of Decay" is accompanied by an official music video that, at first glance, may seem unfamiliar compared to the song's sonic intensity. The script for the video was written by CRYPTA's drummer Luana Dametto.

"The video clip is both an almost poetic contrast to the harsh death metal sound but also a cinematic depiction of the lyrics: An ethereal and almost dream-like landscape that represents someone's true state of being, clear thoughts and and light emotions, that slowly dissipate with the passing of time and changing of surroundings, and with the night and a much darker environment, after a while, feelings of being adrift and astray arise, showing that our conditions and time can directly change the way we see ourselves and the way we feel and interact."

Chicago -based metal act REPENTANCE has released a deeply personal tribute to the band’s founding member Shaun Glass with a brand-new video for "Fade Into Silence". The track, which is featured on the band’s upcoming third studio album "Retaliate", is out now and you can watch it right HERE.

Today, THE 69 EYES are thrilled to unveil their new single “Brandon Lee (Forma Acustica),” out now via BLKIIBLK. 

Originally featured on ‘Blessed Be,’ the song was first released in 2000 and became an international success for the band. Its title refers to the late American actor Brandon Lee, who played the lead role in the dark cult classic “The Crow” (1993).

The single was mixed by acclaimed American producer Matt Hyde, who also produced THE 69 EYES’ ‘Back In Blood,’ recorded in Los Angeles in 2009. Known for his work with Slayer and Deftones, Hyde most recently mixed Megadeth’s self-titled album ‘Megadeth’ (2026), which reached No. 1 in the United States.

The music video for the track was filmed at Suomenlinna, Helsinki, and directed by Elias Ryynänen. Paparazzi models Corinna Puleo and Lotte Vainio bring timeless catwalk glamour to the band’s gothic rock world, evoking the turn-of-the-millennium aesthetic.

The single is the first taste of an acoustic record, set for release in early 2027. THE 69 EYES will also bring their melodic side on tour in February next year, with a nationwide concert hall tour across Finland.

Industrial rock/metal band, OUR FRANKENSTEIN has just unveiled their new single and video for "Jealous God" in anticipation of their forthcoming EP, Comedy.

Addressing envy and devotion: OUR FRANKENSTEINn tackle spiritual imprisonment. "Jealous God" harkens back to the old gnostic belief that our reality is secretly under the control of a malevolent demiurge named, Yaldaboath. The song and music video contrast the false god's wrath with real world catastrophe in a style that could only be viewed as satire.

The "Jealous God" video invites the question that if our fate is in the hands of the powers that be...what happens if we (the people) obtain the crown? The video was shot by Pablo Salamone and directed / edited by Ryan Laney.

American Post-Black Metal band Eusapia has released their new single "Relapse", the lead single from their upcoming two-stage release concluding with "Mercy" on December 21. Today SLIPKNOT unleash “Arsenal”, the first new song from the band in over three years.  The anthemic release arrives with a music video directed by M Shawn Crahan - (clown), and stars Jackson White.

The culture of Slipknot has spread much farther than anyone could have predicted when nine guys from Iowa put on masks and uniforms, and began challenging the globe to keep up. The band’s influence can now be seen and felt in the underground, in those artists headlining rock and pop festivals across the world, and virtually everywhere in between. Across genres and subgenres, artists the world over are following in the footsteps that lead out of the US Midwest, and onto stages around the world. And all without an ounce of compromise, to anyone.  

“Arsenal” deploys nearly every weapon Slipknot owns: pummeling dynamics, razor sharp vocals and lyrics, knifing keyboards, and riffs that can only be measured in tons. “I fought a f*cking god and the god lost,” frontman Corey Taylor proclaims, ripping his way across the track with a self-aware braggadocio, melding metal, punk and hip hop verses while summoning his roar from the seventh circle of hell. He’s serious when he throws off the weight of trend-chasing and spits, “I know I’m a hack and a has-been, but motherf*cker I’m a .45 and not a Mach 10,” but he’s also playing around; ditto when he screeches the song to a halt, shouting at his bandmates and bulldozing the wall of sound they’ve been building. There’s a focused, compressed brutality to this song that displays the firepower they’ve honed over their career.
