Acclaimed Canadian rock band Silverstein has today released Antibloom, the first part of their prolific double album Antibloom / Pink Moon. Written in the deserts of Joshua Tree, these records represent the band’s most eclectic and creative body of work to date – drawing upon influences from across the band’s profound discography. Stream / purchase Antibloom now HERE.

“Antibloom is finally here! It’s so exciting to be releasing so much new music alongside our 25th anniversary tour,” shares frontman Shane Told. “This album (and the next one coming later in the year) is chock-full of absolute bangers. We’re really proud to be putting out our best music a quarter century into our career.”

Just after celebrating 20 years together and having their album, A Beautiful Place To Drown, receive a JUNO Award-nomination for Rock Album of the Year, legendary post-hardcore outfit Silverstein hit us with a standout, anthemic new single and video – "Bankrupt."

"Bankrupt" is available via UNFD across all digital platforms today along with its official video that was directed by long time friend and collaborator, Wyatt Clough. Watch the visuals on YouTube as Clough captures an explosive performance from the band using mostly 16mm Kodak (Double-X 7222) film.

Check out the new video single right HERE.

The youth of America have been infected!   As the stars of the 2017 Vans Warped Tour, your Lords and Masters have GWAR destroyed and pillaged the country all summer long, as only they could. Warped Tour fans and fellow bands alike were molested, mutilated and left emotionally devastated by GWAR's performances from sea to shining sea. The one and only Beefcake the Mighty, "killed" Billy Hamilton the bassist of Silverstein and then took his place in the band, playing the band's new single "Ghost". Check it HERE.

Just this past weekend as the Warped Tour was wrapping up, The Berserker Blothar took to the stage along with Sawborg Destructo and their slaves to "murder" American Authors singer Zac Barnett.  Blothar then took over the vocal duties of their hit song, changing the lyrics to "Last Day of My Life" as the savage attack continued right HERE.

Guitarist Pustulus Maximus commented on the end of Warped Tour and what bohabs can expect next from your lords and masters:

"Our summer's long journey to corrupt the moral turpitude of America's youth is now complete. Much thanks to the other bands, crew and children with whom we shared blood, sex and violence. Now, on to tell the tale of "The Blood of Gods!"

On October 20th, GWAR will release a new studio album entitled "The Blood of Gods" via Metal Blade Records.   "The Blood of Gods" is nothing less than a sacred text chronicling the rise of humanity against their makers, and the massive battle between GWAR and the forces of all that is uptight and wrong with the world. Along the way, the band challenges the sins of their great mistake, from politics, pollution, and organized religion, to fast food, and factory farming. Humans are shown as what they are; a parasitic disease that must be eradicated before they suck the planet dry. Meanwhile, Sleazy P. Martini, the crooked entrepreneur who discovered the Scumdogs, and has always envisioned them as a sort of horrific boy band, finally managed to convince the group to write a hit song called "I'll Be Your Monster." If all goes according to plan, it may be just stupid enough to work!

Of course, "The Blood of Gods" is the first GWAR album without the band's fallen brother, Oderus Urungus. The title of the album refers to the loss of Oderus. and the struggles and triumphs that produced the new sound of the band. Born of adversity, "The Blood of Gods" is a sonic scar...a question asked and answered...Death cannot kill GWAR. Nothing can. GWAR LIVES MOTHERFUCKERS!

GWAR are taking a quick break following Warped Tour, then heading back out on the road for an appearance at Chicago's Riot Fest and a couple of additional headline dates (including an appearance at Land Of Illusion in Middletown, OH.  Following those shows, the band will return home to Antarctica to prepare for a never-ending tour in support of "The Blood Of Gods".  More information including dates, venues, and support bands will be made available when GWAR feels like it.

TOUR DATES:

9/15: Knoxville, TN @ The International
9/16: Middletown, OH @ Land of Illusion (Free Show With Admission To Park)
9/17: Chicago, IL @ Riot Fest

GWAR W/ Stonecutters:
11/2: Louisville, KY @ Mercury Ballroom (Moved From 9/16)

Silverstein have officially announced that their highly anticipated album, Dead Reflection, will be released on July 14. In the meantime. they have released a brand new music video for their first single "Retrograde". Dead Reflection will be the band's eighth full-length record and is available for pre-order HERE.

Originally formed in 2000 as a side project, Silverstein were launched by vocalist Shane Told, guitarist Josh Bradford, drummer Paul Koehler, guitarist Richard McWalter, and bassist Bill Hamilton in Ontario, Canada. After diving into Ontario's hardcore/emo scene -- which also included bands like Moneen and Grade -- Silverstein found an audience for their particular brand of shimmering emo and hot-blooded post-hardcore. Silverstein's self-released EP, Summer's Stellar Gaze, was quite well received upon its release in 2000, and the band soon became the full-time project of its members. After a lineup change that saw McWalter being replaced by ex-Maharahj guitar player Neil Boshart, the group began to tour the eastern provinces of Canada in earnest.

Check out the new song turned video for "Retrograde" over HERE.

The full US-headline tour kicks off on October 2 in Grand Rapids, MI and wraps up in the band's hometown of Detroit, MI on November 3. The tour will also feature special guests: Silverstein, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, the Color Morale, and Dangerkids.

Tracing Back Roots has already received rave reviews from fans and press alike, with Alternative Press stating, "We Came As Romans come out remarkably strong on their third full-length...'Never Let Me Go' has a surging, anthemic power (and a killer chorus) that makes it a prime candidate for radio airplay-and plenty of tearful sing-alongs at gigs," Rock Sound declaring, "We Came As Romans have boldly and brilliantly hit their stride, and designed the melodic metalcore blueprint for years to come," and Kerrang! concluding, "Tracing Back Roots will ensure that We Came As Romans continue to rise to the top. And deservedly so."

Tracing Back Roots was recorded in Los Angeles with renowned producer John Feldmann [The Used, Black Veil Brides, All Time Low] – a dream come true for the band, whose average age is just 23 years old. We Came As Romans is comprised of Dave Stephens [vocals], Kyle Pavone [vocals], Joshua Moore [lyrics/guitar], Eric Choi [drums], Lou Cotton [guitar] and Andrew Glass [bass].

Before the start of The Tracing Back Roots Tour, We Came As Romans will first head overseas for a run of shows in Europe and the Philippines. Immediately after their US headliner, the band will return overseas for the UK/Europe Vans Warped Tour and dates with Parkway Drive before wrapping up the year with Vans Warped Tour Australia.
