Los Angeles, CA’s progressive rock/metal rising stars Sifting have just released a new music video for their epic power-ballad track "Gloom" which is the fifth music video from their latest full-length album "Not From Here". The video was directed by Alejandro Fumero Gil, and filmed in beautiful Santa Monica Mountains in Malibu, CA and Santa Clarita, CA. Watch it right now at this location HERE.

DC metal band GLOOM has signed a worldwide deal with Entertainment One Music / Lifeblood Inc. and is releasing an all new track today titled “Cede” exclusively via Metalsucks. “We couldn't be happier to be a part of the Lifeblood and eOne family," says the band. "We've been hunkered down working so hard that I don't think the reality has set in for all of us. We're just really grateful to have such high a quality team backing us." GLOOM will release their debut full length, Solaris, on June 2, 2017.

"'SOLARIS' is our first full length and while we were writing the album we really wanted to bring all our individual influences to the table and create something dynamic. We really want to carve out our own niche in metal and SOLARIS is a big step in that direction. For us, 'Cede' is a good musical representation of some of the different styles you'll hear on the album.  Lyrically, it's about breaking the cycle of a bad on-off relationship I had for years and finding a place where I could grow out of those feelings."

GLOOM will be opening the Devastation on the Nation Festival Tour throughout the US and Canada from 5/19-6/11 alongside Cryptopsy, Decrepit Birth, Rivers of Nihil, The Zenith Passage, The Kennedy Veil, Visceral Disgorge, and Seeker via Continental Concerts USA. Presented by MetalSucks.

Arizona extreme metallers JOB FOR A COWBOY have entered Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida to begin recording their next album for an early 2012 release via Metal Blade Records. The band is once again working with producer Jason Suecof (TRIVIUM, CHIMAIRA, DEVILDRIVER), who helmed the group's latest EP, "Gloom". "Gloom" was released on June 7 via Metal Blade Records. The CD features the first new music from JOB FOR A COWBOY since 2009's "Ruination" LP, which landed at position No. 42 on The Billboard 200 chart.

Starting today, the popular metal portal MetalSucks is hosting the worldwide exclusive premiere of the upcoming JOB FOR A COWBOY (JFAC) EP Gloom. The Gloom EP will be available digitally and physically via mail-order only on June 7th. Fans wanting a physical copy of the Gloom EP should act quickly, though, as it is a limited edition run of only 2,500 copies. The EP features four new tracks of fine-tuned, visceral death metal featuring the re-invigorated lineup of Jonny Davy, Jon "Charn" Rice, Al Glassman and new guitarist Tony Sannicandro. The Gloom EP cover features new artwork from Ruination artist Brent Elliott White.

Commented vocalist Jonny Davy: "It honestly feels like it's been quite awhile since we've released any new material to the public. With that said, we're all pretty amped up to release this new EP and to play these new songs live. I'm aware that it's stereotypical to claim that it's a step forward for the band, but fuck it, it is. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do."
