Portland thrash band TOXIC HOLOCAUST led by frontman Joel Grind has signed a worldwide record deal with Entertainment One (“eOne”) with plans to release a new album later this year.

"I am proud to announce that not only is the new album finished but also that I have joined the roster over at eOne...and I am in good company," says Grind.

“The entire team is very excited to have such an influential band joining the roster," says SVP of Rock and Metal, Scott Givens. "Entertainment One’s commitment to metal remains steadfast and ongoing.”

Toxic Holocaust will be celebrating their twentieth anniversary this year noting their accomplishments and achievements since the band’s inception in 1999. Grind continues, "starting in 1999, Toxic Holocaust released its first demo. In 1999 Thrash Metal was about as 'uncool' as you could get. Struggling to find other band members and given the rural location, I forged on as a solo project."

"New releases saw Toxic signing with a few noteworthy labels, touring, and spreading the music around the world. After various lineups and incarnations throughout the years, I have decided to come full circle for this 20th-anniversary era and release an album going back to solo project roots. This new album features me playing and recording everything just like the early days. Prepare for the next chapter."

The yet to be titled new album is due out later this year and will be the follow up to Chemistry of Consciousness (2013), which Metal Injection called “trenchant and unapologetic in its lack of versatility, this is a bottled up riot distilled into musical form.” MetalSucks noted that the band sounded “more twisted and pissed off than ever before.” New Noise Magazine went as far as to say that “if we were to comprise a modern-day 'Big Four' Toxic Holocaust would certainly be on the bill.”

The band plans on hitting the road in support of the new LP later this year and have just wrapped a short run of west coast dates with Integrity. The band will play the Rickshaw Theater in Vancouver, BC on May 25 and the Rock AL Paraque Festival on June 30 in Bogota, Columbia.

DC metal band GLOOM has signed a worldwide deal with Entertainment One Music / Lifeblood Inc. and is releasing an all new track today titled “Cede” exclusively via Metalsucks. “We couldn't be happier to be a part of the Lifeblood and eOne family," says the band. "We've been hunkered down working so hard that I don't think the reality has set in for all of us. We're just really grateful to have such high a quality team backing us." GLOOM will release their debut full length, Solaris, on June 2, 2017.

"'SOLARIS' is our first full length and while we were writing the album we really wanted to bring all our individual influences to the table and create something dynamic. We really want to carve out our own niche in metal and SOLARIS is a big step in that direction. For us, 'Cede' is a good musical representation of some of the different styles you'll hear on the album.  Lyrically, it's about breaking the cycle of a bad on-off relationship I had for years and finding a place where I could grow out of those feelings."

GLOOM will be opening the Devastation on the Nation Festival Tour throughout the US and Canada from 5/19-6/11 alongside Cryptopsy, Decrepit Birth, Rivers of Nihil, The Zenith Passage, The Kennedy Veil, Visceral Disgorge, and Seeker via Continental Concerts USA. Presented by MetalSucks.

Scott Givens, SVP of eOne Music, says, "All of us at Entertainment One are elated to have CKY join us and are looking forward unleashing their amazing new record this summer."

Platinum selling metal act DROWNING POOL has announced a worldwide deal with eOne Music and plans to release a new LP next year. "We are truly honored to be part of the eOne family," says the band. "We would like to thank eOne for not only their support, but also for allowing us the autonomy to make the record we envision." The yet to be titled new record will be the band's follow up to Resilience, released in 2013.

The band is currently in the studio with renowned producer Jason Suecof (AUGUST BURNS RED, DEICIDE, DEATH ANGEL) and will wrap production this fall. "We are excited to welcome Drowning Pool to the growing roster of bands at eOne," says eOne VP of Metal/Rock Scott Givens. "I'm personally looking forward to unleashing the band's new single later this year."

Drowning Pool have beaten the darkness and now they celebrate life on life’s terms. The core trio of C.J. Pierce (guitar), Stevie Benton (bass) and Mike Luce (drums) mine hardship, struggle and disappointment to emerge victorious each time, crafting empowering hard rock anthems. Drowning Pool songs conjure emotions that deeply connect with those who persevere against the odds and sacrifice to survive, and their music transcends boundaries of race, class and lifestyle as well, resonating with people from all walks of life who look to music to get them through life’s challenges.

Jason Moreno’s powerful vocals enabled him to quickly master Drowning Pool’s dense catalog when he became the band’s frontman in 2012. From his reverent delivery of the late Dave Williams mosh-pit ready lyrics in the ubiquitous signature hit “Bodies,” to his powerful take on Top 5 Active Rock hits like “Step Up” from Desensitized (2004), “37 Stitches” from Full Circle (2007), and “Feel Like I Do” (Drowning Pool, 2010).

Moreno injects fresh life into the songs with his unique stamp. As Revolver Magazine noted in their review of Resilience: “Drowning Pool continue to produce consistently killer albums with an unmistakable sound.”

By joining forces with eOne (North America), Century Media (Europe), Howling Bull (Japan) and 3Wise (Australia) we will have a more focused attack from some of the most well known and respected labels in the world. We know this new beginning of sorts will bring bigger and better things for Unearth and our fans and we couldn't be more excited for the future of all things Unearth. We are currently in the studio recording some of the most aggressive, anthemic and energized metal we have ever written and we look forward to unleashing it to you all when it is finished.  Expect to hear more about our new album, release dates and future world wide touring plans later this summer."

"We also want to take this opportunity to thank Metal Blade Records for being our label home for almost a decade. In that time we released four LP's and a double DVD, circled the Globe playing Heavy Metal dozens of times and experienced some of the greatest moments of our collective lives.  Metal Blade helped us along the path of our dream and we are eternally grateful.  We start new label relationships today, but we will always consider ourselves part of the Metal Blade Records family."

THE CHARIOT have released a behind the scenes clip of their time in the studio recording their upcoming record "ONE WING" due out August 28th, 2012 via eOne Music / Good Fight Music. You can check it out below.

In a recent interview the band was asked what their mindset was when going into the studio on "ONE WING," and front man Josh Scogin commented, "Let's get weird."

THE CHARTIOT will be hitting the road this summer on the SCREAM IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT TOUR alongside WE CAME AS ROMANS, OCEANO and ATTACK ATTACK!. Click HERE for more details.

The Chariot are true artists whose determined passions lead them down winding pathways as they buck trends and avoid formulas. The noisy, rambling, shambling, Southern-‐fried, punk-‐infused, heavy metal hardcore band has long rejected the conventions of the genre that surrounds them by refusing to conform to established structures.

After all, The Chariot is the band whose debut was recorded live in the studio in one take, whose frenetic and often destructive live shows are the stuff of underground legend and whose evolving lineups have generated a body of work as vibrant in the hearts and minds of those who’ve witnessed the mayhem live as those who own the discography. More "ONE WING" information coming soon.

eOne Music has announced an exclusive worldwide partnership with Good Fight Music that will bring their growing roster of bands into the diverse eOne family of hard rock and metal. "As I've navigated the changing landscape of the music industry I've always maintained the same goal; to grow the label as aggressively as possible," says founder and president Carl Severson.

Severson founded and ran Ferret Music successfully from it's inception in 1996 until his departure 2009. During his time there he developed acts such as Kilswitch Engage, The Devil Wears Prada, Every Time I Die and From Autumn To Ashes. Severson continues, "I've always loved finding young talent and helping it thrive. I've been lucky enough to have had a great deal of success with that over the years with Ferret and now Good Fight Music by taking artists to previously unreached levels. Bringing the record label side of Good Fight Music to eOne will allow me to pursue my goals more aggressively than ever and align the Good Fight Music roster with a brand new wealth of resources and talent. It's exciting!"

eOne Music's VP of Rock and Metal, Scott Givens adds "We are thrilled to have Good Fight and their amazing stable of acts join the eOne Music family. Carl's track record at discovering and breaking new talent speaks for itself and both Carl, myself and the whole eOne team are looking forward bringing forth many new releases in 2012." The first handful of releases in 2012 will include: The Contortionist, The Chariot and Conditions.
