Recording artist and published author, Ashley Worhol, has created a visual world for her audience to join her on quite an experience. Her most recent book, "Perception", invites you to view life through her eyes. She takes you on a journey through colorful imagery and stories that one might see on a movie screen. "Testify" is an excerpt from her book, "Perception". This poem is very personal as she reveals her deepest flaws and shows how she changed her life through faith. She has always known her purpose in life and is truly living that path.

Personal Statement: There comes a point in life where you can either live through fear or live through love. I do not fear being honest with who I truly am. This video is my testimony, my truth. This poem is very personal because I reveal my deepest flaws. This poem shows how I changed my life through changing my mindset, which is sometimes the hardest battle in life. When someone is willing to be so open and vulnerable with the world, that person will stop at nothing to follow their dreams. That person is me.

Pantera will be releasing a new book, a photo book that documents the history of one of the most legendary metal bands in the world, Pantera. Published by Lesser Gods, due out this fall, is a hard cover book, containing 400 pages of the band's earlier days all the way through their musical careers spanning two decades come 2003.

The photos shot by Joe Giron, one of the band's longtime photographers and earliest supporters, the forward of the book was done by bassist Rex Brown, who also added in anecdotes in the book along with drummer Vinnie Paul.

Expect this book to be released this fall, at local book retailers and online retails as well.

Pop-metal band Alesana has announced that they will release a book entitled "Annabel" on August 31st. The short novel will tell the story that the band's three concept albums are based around. Vocalist/guitarist Shawn Milke and his sister Melissa narrated a reading of the first chapter, and director Jason Ligon turned it into a lyric video that premiered on Tattoo.com. Check it out HERE.

"This story has been a work in progress for nearly seven years," says Milke. "It began when Dennis and I decided to tell our own story through the albums of Alesana. It eventually grew into an album trilogy and now, finally, a short novel. Creating this abstract universe and telling the story of Annabel has been, in every way possible, both challenging and rewarding. It is an accomplishment that still stuns me to this day. Thank you to everyone who has joined us on this journey."

The book was compiled by Bob Gorman and Roger Gastman. Gorman began working with Slave Pit and GWAR in 1988. Today he serves as secretary, shop foreman, performer and visual artist for Slave-Pit. He began GWARchiving GWAR and Slave-Pit history in 1997, and this book is the result of that effort.

Gastman, the self-proclaimed "curator of culture" was the brains behind infamous "While You Were Sleeping" and "Swindle" magazines, has packaged over 3 dozen books for small publishers, curated gallery shows MoCA, the Corcoran, and countless other and has produced or worked on several documentaries concerning Graffiti or subculture in general.

Canadian metallers Kittie who have been here for the passed 20 years had been keeping fans in suspense on what their BIG announcement was going to be n March 29, 2014. Posting various things via the band's Facebook page well today is the day and the announcement comes in terms of a campaign with help by the fans to create a documentary DVD and biography book. Kittie will take all the passed footage of various events, concerts, backstage, studio time, and more combine it together into this mega DVD and book with special bonus's to the fans who contribute donations getting special gifts in return. Along with these releases the band will re-release their whole discography re-mastering and remixing as well as releasing unreleased songs.  Check out the video for the campaign HERE and donate towards the campaign HERE. The fans who were hoping and expecting for these girls to create a tour based on their 20 year span with current and previous members MAY happen but it's un-telling at this point and time.
