Barnsley band Hands Off Gretel has been invited to present a live music video showcase at Música Mundo 2017 (September 6 to 10th) an international music conference in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
“It’s amazing that a group of students over 5,000 miles away have been working on our game and listening to our music. We have a fantastic international fan base and we are so proud that they chose Hands Off Gretel out of all the bands they could have chosen around the world.” Lauren Tate (Singer/songwriter Hands Off Gretel)

The bands video performance at the conference on September 9th will mark the launch of a free web browser game, developed by a group of Brazilian students, The Mad Freaks Studio at the University of Fumec in Brazil. The gaming students, who are avid fans of the band, were inspired by the music video "One Eyed Girl", a colorful carnival video that the band produced themselves. The students were inspired by characters from the video to create the online game, which includes music from Hands Off Gretel and has a string of anti-bullying messages.




The students and the band have worked collaboratively over the last few months to tweak the game and will now work together to promote each other through a dedicated Facebook page for the game and a showcase presentation at Music Mundo. Episodes 1 and 2 will be released at Música Mundo 2017, which is promoting interaction between music and games, fostering business innovation and entrepreneurship. The game will be available to play online on September 15th with further episodes planned for October and December. The game is designed to entertain, but also warn about bullying and its dangerous consequences.

Hasbro's My Little Pony brand, has connected with Budge Studios to release an all new mobile game for Apple devices currently, called "My Little Pony Harmony Quest". Available for FREE download HERE. Details about the game, itself go as follows;

Mattel's next installment in it's Monster High video game series will collaborate with the movie/TV special of 13 Wishes telling the tale of what you wish for when Howleen sister of Claween Wolf finds a magic lamp and makes some wishes of her own but everything doesn't turn out to be good in the end. This game will be available on a number of consoles Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo WiiU. Publisher of Japanese independent games, Rockin’ Android, announced today that they will begin distributing their most popular games for purchase on Steam® a leading platform for digital content distribution and management. The first titles available for download will be the Gundemonium Collection, a trilogy of arcade-style scrolling shoot-’em-up games, set in a steampunk world of alchemy and demonic invasion. The collection includes three full games: Gundemonium Recollection, GundeadliGne, and Hitogata Happa.



 The Steam release of these games will include exclusive new features. First, optional remixed and enhanced in-game soundtracks by DM Ashura (of Dance Dance Revolution fame) and talented up-and-coming artist, Woofle, are now included. The new soundtracks have the enthusiastic approval of the series’s creator, Murasame. Second, Rockin’ Android has upgraded GundeadliGne to include online cooperative play support through Steam, as previous versions only supported local play. Third, Steam achievements will be included with all three games. The Gundemonium Collection will be available for download on Steam on September 27, 2011 for $9.99 USD. It will also be possible to purchase the games individually for $3.99 USD each. More games from Rockin’ Android will be available on Steam at later dates.
