On the heels of their 25th anniversary, the Backstreet Boys have signed with RCA Records who released their electric new single "Don’t Go Breaking My Heart" out on May 17th, along with its official music video directed by long time BSB collaborators Rich + Tone.

"The minute we heard this song we knew it was special," says Kevin Richardson. "I geeked out over the piano and synths. When that groove drops on the second verse, COME ON. Great verse, hook and melodies. Just makes you wanna listen over and over again."

In support of the new single, BSB will return to the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series in New York’s Central Park on July 13th. The group will also perform at a series of summer radio shows like this year’s KIIS FM Wango Tango before returning to their record-breaking "Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life" Las Vegas Residency. Tour dates below.

Recorded immediately after the first leg of their highly successful Las Vegas residency, "Don’t Go Breaking My Heart" has the energy of a group who had a remarkable year and who channeled their excitement into a new song that hits harder and funkier than ever before.

It’s hard not to think the group's latest activities didn’t shape this track. Whether it's the creative relationship with Florida Georgia Line that earned BSB their first #1 Country radio single; working with a variety of new and young producers; there’s an undeniable energy and creativity surrounding the Backstreet Boys and "Don’t Go Breaking My Heart" is an extraordinary new track from a group who continues to impress 25 years into their storied career.

"We’ve been working our ass off for 25 years," says AJ McLean  "and with the support of RCA and our contemporaries, we know we’ll be performing for fans, both old and new, for a really long time. It feels like we’re just getting started."

"Don’t Go Breaking My Heart" – now available on all digital platforms - was written by Stephen Wrabel (Ellie Goulding) and produced by Stuart Crichton (Kesha) and Jamie Hartman (James Bay).

For 25 years, the Backstreet Boys have been one of the most successful groups in music history and continue to be one of pop’s most influential performers in the world.  With countless #1s, record-setting tours, numerous awards and worldwide sales in excess of 130 million, BSB has been recognized as the best-selling boy band in history.

Gravitas Ventures announced today that they have acquired the North American theatrical, VOD, and DVD rights to BACKSTREET BOYS: SHOW 'EM WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF, an emotionally open and honest documentation of the biggest selling boy band of all time. The film was directed by Stephen Kijak (STONES IN EXILE, SCOTT WALKER: 30 CENTURY MAN) and stars original group members Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson, all of whom were producers on the film along with Mia Bays. Gravitas has scheduled a Theatrical and Video-On-Demand release for January 30.

BACKSTREET BOYS: SHOW 'EM WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF is a surprising and rewarding journey filmed over 2 years that delves into the extremes of fame, fortune, betrayal and renewal. The documentary follows the members as they share their lives with us and relive their journey together, revealing new and old tensions that need confronting and resolving.

"From 1992 to 2002 we were the biggest band in the world. No one thought it was going to be as big as it was," says Brian Littrell who goes on to say "Then it just stopped. And what do you do when you're a full grown man in a boy band?"

The multiple award winning and Grammy-nominated group has sold 130 million records worldwide and is recognized as the best-selling boy band in history. Not only have their first 9 albums all debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard Top 100 but they have gone gold and platinum in 46 countries. The Backstreet Boys are the only group in Canadian history to have 3 consecutive diamond albums commemorating sales of over 10 million records and they hold 2 diamond awards in the US. The group also made history when their anticipated 11-week, 39-city 1999-2000 North American MILLENNIUM arena tour sold out within the first hour. The Backstreet Boys continue to be an essential figure in pop culture receiving a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2013.

"Gravitas Ventures is very excited to be part of BACKSTREET BOYS: SHOW 'EM WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF" commented Julie Candelaria, Vice President of Marketing, Gravitas Ventures. "The Backstreet Boys are not only pop icons, but legends in the music space. We are thrilled to share this highly anticipated story of their incredible journey."

The documentary will have its world television premiere as part of the Emmy Award-winning "VH1 Rock Docs" franchise slated to debut on VH1 Spring of 2015.
