Continuing what has become the most unexpected and awesome collaboration of 2026, multi-platinum pop-punk royalty Yellowcard have joined forces with global children's education sensation Blippi to recharge and revamp their buzzing hit "Bedroom Posters" with a brand new duet version, out now via Better Noise. It's Yellowcard and Blippi's second track together, following "Go Go Go," and third recording of "Bedroom Posters."

This iteration of the track maintains the energy of the original, yet Blippi brings his own magic to the party. He has retrofitted the tune with a fresh and family-friendly perspective, flipping lyrics like "Tear down my bedroom posters" to "Look at my bedroom posters" and soaring with the band on a sky-high chant of "Airplanes and rollercoasters." Together, they also excitedly continue the "Year of Vehicles," extending the celebration of the vehicles kids dig the most — from race cars and monster trucks to excavators and everything in between.

It's the ultimate pop-punk anthem for the kids and mom and dad!

About the track, Yellowcard's Ryan Key said, "My favorite part about this process was handing over an instrumental version of 'Bedroom Posters' to the Blippi team and letting them completely re-write the lyrics. I had the idea that this feature could be perfect because of the concept of posters on kids' walls. I think they nailed it and this is hopefully going to inspire a generation of new little rockers!

Regarding the accompanying video, he states, "It was so fun to make. I think it pushed us all out of our comfort zones a little, and at this stage of our career, that usually leads to an amazing outcome. For me, as a first-time dad of a 2-year-old who is already showing signs of being very musical, I think this is going to be a really special way for him to connect with my music and see me doing what I love. I hope that energy is what other parents find when they are watching and listening to this with their kids."

Blippi said, "Music is one of my favorite ways to play and collaborate, so teaming up with my friends in Yellowcard was a blast! We turned 'Bedroom Posters' into a version that kids and families can sing, dance, and laugh along with. I can't wait for everyone to hear it!"

Alt Rock favorites Yellowcard are celebrating today’s global release “Take What You Want” with an accompanying music video showcasing footage taken during the band’s recent tours in Japan, Australia and Europe. “Take What You Want” is the third new song from the group’s forthcoming studio album “Better Days” releasing worldwide on October 10th. “Take What You Want” follows the release of the first two songs “Better Days” and “honestly i” which have accumulated over 4-million streams since release on May 28th. Alt rock favorites Yellowcard are celebrating the announcement of their new album Better Days by releasing the lead single and title track “Better Days” along with album track “honestly i.” Better Days is the band’s first full feature length album in almost a decade and will be available on October 10th. This highly anticipated album is produced as well as executive produced by Travis Barker. Barker also plays drums on every song.

The single “Better Days” is an unflinching reflection on gratitude, forgiveness, perspective, and purpose. Once ubiquitous on MTV and the Billboard Hot 100, the Vans Warped Tour veterans, whose first two albums produced double-platinum and gold title tracks, sound fully recharged and revitalized in 2025. William Ryan Key, Sean Mackin, Ryan Mendez, and Josh Portman have never sounded stronger. The song “Better Days” is also accompanied by a music video that has the guys depicting iconic 80’s movie characters performing in a vintage video shop. Directed by Jordan Phoenix, the video is a refection of how much fun the guys are having this time around as a band and with their music. Ryan Key says, “We are focused on this chapter of our career being about happiness. This is the most fun we’ve had making a video in 20 years and we hope everyone has a smile on their face when they watch it.”

The band agreed that making a new album was pointless unless it was the best of their career. They refused to rush the process and for the first time gave themselves permission to ask for help. Ryan Mendez invited his long time friend Nick Long into the writing sessions and it was through Long that Barker became part of the project, coming on board to play drums and produce the whole album.

“I started the record as one version of myself and came out the other side changed,” says front man Ryan Key who credits Barker with a significant impact on his personal and creative studio breakthroughs. “I went in knowing I needed help. I came out of it writing songs like I was 19 again.”

Formed in Jacksonville FL in 1997, Yellowcard became one of the most influential bands in the 2000’s alternative rock scene. Known for blending high energy pop punk with a signature violin twist, their 2003 breakthrough Ocean Avenue is certified Platinum with the title track now certified 2 times platinum. With over 4 million albums sold worldwide and over 1 billion streams, the band is poised for continued success on this new endeavor. After disbanding in 2017, Yellowcard reunited in 2022 entering into a new creative era and a year packed with a global tour to support it.

“When saying farewell, it is hard to know where to start, especially when there are so many reasons not to say it, but the time has come to share this news,” said YELLOWCARD in a unified statement. “After countless discussions and months of thought, we have decided that it is time for Yellowcard to come to an end. This will be our last album and our final world tour.”

With this statement, YELLOWCARD have announced that the band will be releasing their final self-titled album on September 30, 2016 on Hopeless Records and embark on “The Final World Tour”, kicking off on October 6 in San Antonio, TX. “We wanted to have the chance to share our farewell with as many fans around the world as we could, and now is the right time to do just that.”

YELLOWCARD was a very personal journey for the band that was self-produced by Ryan Key and guitarist Ryan Mendez with long-time ally and close friend Neal Avron close by as Executive Producer. “The motivation behind this was to make sure these songs came from a place that was deeply rooted in us,” they explain about taking the reins and crafting it from top to bottom. “We wanted to push ourselves to create a lasting finale for this incredible story on our own. It is also why we chose to self-title the album. We were lucky to still have our friend and mentor, Neal Avron, on board as Executive Producer. We’ve made one of the strongest records of our career and a fitting final creative piece.”

Pre-orders for YELLOWCARD begin today at www.yellowcardrock.com which includes an instant download of the opening track “Rest in Peace”. Pre-sale VIP packages for the tour are also available now. Public on sale will begin June 28th.

As the band spends their summer on the Vans Warped Tour before launching into their final stretch, they are especially appreciative to the fans that have been there every step of the way. “We will be forever grateful to Yellowcard fans all over the world for the opportunities you have given us. We have played shows for nearly two decades on six continents and had the chance to keep recording the music we love year after year. While it is with sadness that we say goodbye, it is with gratitude and amazement that we look back on a career we can be proud of, and were so very lucky to have had.”

YELLOWCARD will be released on September 30, 2016 via Hopeless Records. Yellowcard is Ryan Key (vocals, guitars), Sean Mackin (violins), Ryan Mendez (guitar), and Josh Portman (bass).

Yellowcard has gotten a brand new bassist, Josh Portman and the following message was said about it;

Hello friends. As you may know, Sean O’Donnell has decided to leave Yellowcard due to personal reasons. You can read a message from him written to you all here. We are all sad to see him go, but we completely understand his need to make this incredibly difficult decision.

With that said, we are stoked to let you know who will be filling the spot at bass guitar from here out. Please welcome Josh Portman to the family. Josh has been a close friend of ours for several years and he is more than excited to start getting to know you all. Feel free to send him a message saying hello on Twitter or via email.

We know all of this news is a lot to take in but in the end it is the best thing for all of us. We wish Sean the best with all his future musical endeavors and can’t wait for you all to meet our buddy Josh.

Good Charlotte will launch a co-headlining tour of the U.S. with Yellowcard at the House of Blues in San Diego, CA. Label mates Runner Runner will open on all dates. The outing follows Good Charlotte’s successful winter headlining tour, which included sold-out shows in New York City, Washington, DC, Allentown, Boston and Cleveland.

The video for “Last Night,” Good Charlotte’s latest single, has been added at Teen Nick, MTV Hits, mtvU and Music Choice. Since premiering at www.funnyordie.com, it’s been featured on more than 30 music sites and tastemaker blogs, including RollingStone.com, mtv.com, Yahoo! Music, Buzznet and many others.

“In conjunction with Funny or Die, the band has recreated the look and feel of every child of the ’80s favorite game show, Family Double Dare, right down to the pie cam, stagehands, and so-not HD resolution,” said lamusicblog.com. “They were even able to tear Marc Summers away from his duties at Unwrapped to host the faux show, and the result is the finest in nostalgia-inducing hilarity!”

You can check out the video at www.goodcharlotte.com. “Last Night” is the second single from Cardiology, Good Charlotte’s fifth studio album and first for Capitol Records. The band recently performed the song on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno which can be seen at here. Praised by Billboard for mixing “Rolling Stones guitar hooks with a slamming four-on-the-floor beat,” “Last Night” follows the smash hit “Like It’s Her Birthday,” which was named one of the “Hot Singles” by People magazine. Good Charlotte has sold 10 million records, won an MTV Video Music Award, performed on numerous national television shows and appeared on the covers of Rolling Stone, Alternative Press and Kerrang! magazines.

Runner Runner is the first band signed to Clear Entertainment/C.E. Music, a new label formed by David Letterman’s Worldwide Pants Inc. through a partnership with EMI’s Capitol Records and music industry veteran Jack Ponti’s MRV label. “I Can’t Wait” is the latest single from the band’s self-titled debut album. “Hey Alli” was tapped earlier this year as the iTunes Single of the Week and was accompanied by two videos – a performance clip and a short film directed by Isaac Rentz (Cage The Elephant, Pistol Youth, Manchester Orchestra). Runner Runner performed the album’s first single, the Top 40 hit “So Obvious,” on “Late Show with David Letterman” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” They’ve toured with The Pretty Reckless (fronted by Taylor Momsen’s), Secondhand Serenade, White Tie Affair, 2AM Club and Forever The Sickest Kids plus played shows with such bands as Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, Gym Class Heroes and Angels & Airwaves. You can check out Runner Runner’s recent session for Yahoo! Music’s “The New Now” here.
