DECATUR are kicking off 2018 with the premiere of their new video "Worst Enemy" on Bravewords. The video is a message from the band to conquer the fight against depression and follows the album's songs of power and empowerment, a clarion call for strength in life’s battles…healing through headbanging.

Vocalist / guitarist Jay Sarrazin comments: ""Worst Enemy", was actually the first song I wrote for this album. I was at a pretty dark place in my life at the time. I was struggling with depression and anxiety and was constantly berating myself with negativity. I felt trapped in a box so to speak and I became my own worst enemy. That’s what the song is about and the music video we made emphasizes that emotion of being trapped in that box or in your own head saying all these things to yourself. Throughout the years I have learned to find more coping methods and I am always learning more about myself. Hopefully this song helps other knows they are not alone and to seek help if they need it."

On December 21st 2011, the Canadian metal community lost one of its heroes, David Gold of Woods of Ypres in a tragic car accident. On the 6th anniversary of his death, good friend and fellow metal brother, Morgan Rider of well known Canadian death metallers Vesperia has released a tribute video covering Woods of Ypres' "Allure of the Earth" under his acoustic doom, folk, blues, ambient and soul side project Deep Dark River. The video was shot in Whitby, UK, Sherwood Forest, UK and Clarington, ON. Teaming up with Bravewords.com, Deep Dark River is premiering this beautiful tribute to David Gold.

Morgan Rider comments: "I have recorded, filmed and edited a cover of the song I performed at his memorial (Allure of the Earth). A lot of this project has been inspired by David and his works, so I feel like this is an appropriate time to announce this project."

VAMPIRES EVERYWHERE! has premiered the music video for their lead single, 'Drug Of Choice'. Taken from their new album, Hellbound And Heartless, and directed by Robby Starbuck, the scandalous video truly captures the paradoxical squalor and glamour of the song. 

Vocalist Michael Vampire explains: "In a world that considers the human form imperfect without certain robotic attributes, we must all suffer the fate of being unwanted - unnecessary - and the feeling of being less than human. Every day we wake up and judge ourselves against certain commercial fed stigmas that force our minds to consider eating disorders, self-rejection and even suicide. Some people choose another form of self-gratification that helps them cope with the everyday struggle of being rejected and I feel this song was meant to define that notion. Whether you throw yourselves on others to feel relevant or whore yourselves out to feel instant bliss, we all struggle with being imperfect and trying to fit in.That being said, we will never fit into the so called commercial made model and thus we are all pieces to a puzzle that will never be completed."
