AVOID Releases New Single "Father Centipede"
Seattle-based heavy rock outfit AVOID has released their new single, "Father Centipede" through Revival Recordings. The track, with accompanying stream video, can be heard on the Revival Recordings YouTube channel now!
"Father Centipede" is the fourth single the band has released this year as part of the Revival 52 campaign which sees a new song released every Friday this year. Three of the tracks, including "Father Centipede," released so far this year are off the band's upcoming full length album, Alone, which is set to release later this year. When speaking about the new single, vocalist Benny Scholl stated, "This is probably the most 'diverse' song we've ever released, and we're so stoked to share it with you! We hope that this gets you excited for the rest of the album, and we really think this gives you a good idea on how different some of these songs are going to be."
The track is also featured on the Spaceuntravel YouTube channel. Fans can purchase "Father Centipede" on iTunes or it's available to stream on all digital platforms. Check it HERE.
Avoid Releases New Song and Video for "Be Myself" And Announces New Tour
Seattle, WA heavy rockers, AVOID, have released a brand new single, "By Myself." Alongside the release, the band also debuted a music video for the song with live footage from their most recent touring run. Check out the video over at New Transcendence HERE.
Frontman Benny Scholl says of the track, "We've been looking forward to releasing this song for awhile now. 'By Myself' is a song that you can just bang your head to and have a good time, but also talks about being/feeling alone, and the different emotions that it can spiral into."
"By Myself" is the first single off their upcoming EP, "Alone", which is set to come out later this year through Revival Recordings. The track is the sixth song Revival Recordings has released under the Revival 52 campaign. The campaign sees a new song being released every Friday for the whole year.

SHATTERPROOF ANNOUNCE "THE OPPOSITES ATTRACT" TOUR WITH AVOID
Shatterproof will be hitting the road at the end of the month with Avoid on "The Opposites Attract Tour" which will kick off in the band's hometown on August 25th in Denver, CO at the Marquis Theater. The tour will wind its way up through to Pacific Northwest hitting Portland and Seattle along the way before heading down the east coast ending in Nashville, TN at The End on September 12th.
