Cannibal Corpse if you have not heard this name then you don't know what you're missing. Cannibal Corpse death metallers have been spending an extensive amount of time writing and recording for their twelfth yes twelfth full-length release entitled "Torture". Drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz says that the album was recorded at the Sonic Ranch in El Paso, Texas and it's a combination of "Kill" and "Evisceration Plague". Using the energy of the two to focus upon the power and dynamics it's directing towards.

The material all offered on this release is stunning, the guitar riffs, solos, and drum work is heavy duty in your face progression that really gets you where it hurts most. Whereas the vocals are deep and focused being very in-deoth and ground breaking with full aggression. Some tracks that really gets your blood rushing has to be "Demented Aggression", "As Deep As the Knife Will Go", and "Rabid", really comence what these guys can do and have done through the years of being musicians.

"Torture" is another release by Cannibal Corpse that shows that they are simply getting better and better having been playing music for more than twenty years is really saying something and what could be possibly better?

Today, Revolvermag.com hosts the exclusive premiere of “Scourge of Iron,” the third track off CANNIBAL CORPSE’s forthcoming slab of brutality, Torture, slated for North American release through Metal Blade Records on March 13, 2012.

Comments bassist Alex Webster of the new tune: “‘Scourge of Iron’ helps to show the song writing diversity on Torture. [First album single] ‘Demented Aggression’ is blazing fast and frantic, while ‘Scourge…’ is a down tempo, pounding song. They're both death metal, but at opposite ends of the speed spectrum. Expect to hear this kind of variety throughout Torture. We’ve utilized many different tempos, rhythms, and feels in these songs with the goal of making an album that is varied and dynamic but also very brutal. On March 13th you'll get to decide whether or not we succeeded.” Listen to “Scourge Of Iron” HERE.

America's reigning kings of brutality, CANNIBAL CORPSE, will unleash their twelfth studio offering this March via Metal Blade Records. Aptly titled Torture, the follow-up to 2009's Evisceration Plague offers up 12 tracks of maniacally precise, soul-searing death metal. Torture was again produced by Hate Eternal's Erik Rutan at his own Mana Recording Studio in St. Petersburg, Florida as well as Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas, and features the maniacal cover art by longtime CANNIBAL CORPSE artist, Vincent Locke, viewable HERE.

While Torture marks the latest progression in the band's sound, it also witnesses a return to what drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz accurately terms "the frenzied attack of Butchered At Birth (1991) or Tomb Of The Mutilated (1992)," infusing the band's advanced musicianship with the raw savagery that haunted their earlier releases, and in the process conceiving the definitive CANNIBAL CORPSE record. Adds bassist Alex Webster on the outcome of the record: "We're extremely happy with how Torture turned out. Erik Rutan did an amazing job with the production, and the songwriting and performances may be our strongest yet. We can't wait until our fans get to hear the whole thing!"

Witness the gutting sounds of "Demented Aggression," the band's first single, as well as studio footage, at the official CANNIBAL CORPSE landing page, at THIS LOCATION.
