South African female fronted alternative rock band Asila teamed up with TITE Productions for the video for their first single, "Resistance". Taken from their forthcoming album "Acid Rain" set for release later this year.

After recording the album "Firebird", under the name Revery in 2016, the band felt a name change was necessary to represent the change of sound and change of direction. "Firebird" was an album of growth, experimentation and self-discovery, with the songs written over many years and many band member changes. With a solid line up finally, and solid sound the name Asila was chosen.

 The sound is more defined in the genre of modern alternative rock with big distorted guitars and massive, hard hitting drums. Soulful, R'n'B inspired vocals are at the forefront with layers of harmonies adding to the depth of the sound. Influences range from Aretha Franklin to Evanescence, from Queen to Muse.

Resistance is available on BandCamp, Apple Music, Google Play Music, Spotify, Shazam, Deezer etc. Check out the video of the song right over HERE.

New York City has never been the same since the arrival of hardcore punks The Casualties, with twenty plus years into their musical career these guys have still got that anger punk rock spirit flowing through them. With that the band is on their ninth album entitled "Resistance" believe it or not and this is it, this defines them so much more than what they use to push out its heart stopping material.

Having songs like "Behind Barbed Wire", "Warriors on the Road" "Always Walk Alone", "Voice of the Outcast" with their leading single "My Blood. My Life. Always Forward." in tow these selections express the band's abilities as musicians ever so further. Guitar tactics, vocal chords, bass beats with drum technique keeps the music alive from start to finish.

There is no recognition when it comes down to these guys with this style of music if you have not heard of The Casualties by now then you better start now because now would be the best time to do so.  For fans of The Unseen, The Exploited, English Dogs, and Toxic Holocaust will eat this up!

Infamous NYC street punks THE CASUALTIES have debuted "My Blood. My Life. Always Forward." from their highly-anticipated new record Resistance. "My Blood. My Life. Always Forward." is the lead-off track from Resistance, and the new track the band was playing as part of their headlining set throughout this summer's "Tonight We Unite!" tour.  Get a first listen to the track HERE.

THE CASUALTIES will release Resistance on September 25th through Season of Mist. Resistance will be available on CD, limited edition LP (with bonus track and download card) and limited edition Digibox including the CD with a bonus track, bandana, bottle opener and patch.

THE CASUALTIES are currently on the road co-headlining the "TONIGHT WE UNITE!" tour alongside the NEKROMANTIX. The tour also includes Down By Law, Lower Class Brats, and more. A list of confirmed dates are below
