Legendary LA hard rockers ODIN have signed with the EMP LABEL GROUP, who will reissue much of their classic catalog including upcoming reissues of "DON’T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER" and "FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE". The limited edition (300 Pcs) vinyl reissue of "DON’T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER", in stores April 20th 2018 with a limited quantity available for pre-order now from empmerch.com, includes remastered versions of the original 1985 recording, in an astonishingly faithful recreation of the original LP, reworked by artist Melody Myers.

Says EMP LABEL GROUP’S Thom Hazaert, "We really wanted the reissue of "DON’T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER" to be painfully faithful to the original release, but with a few modern upgrades, and we pored over every detail. As a HUGE fan of Odin, I wanted to create a really special reissue that fans could celebrate, and would really be a nod to this seminal, criminally overlooked release."

Says vocalist Randy "O" Roberg, "I was introduced to Thom from EMP by my cousin, Jerry Dixon from Warrant. We started talking about my solo release and some things I was working on, and he told me what a huge Odin fan he was, and we started discussing ideas for reissuing some of the Odin catalog. We’re all really excited about the reissues and the way they are coming out. It’s awesome to be able to really bring these releases to light in a way that the fans are excited about."

Cadaveria, act that just so happens to cross your path out of nowhere, then you wonder where has this act been all this time! Even though the time frame for said act has only been over 15 years and counting, Cadaveria has decided to take a blast from the past in their catalog of releases, re-releasing their second full-length album "Far Away From Conformity". The album was originally released back in 2004 but since it's been 13 years, lucky 13 to be precise the album is receiving this re-release with some improvements and minor differences in comparison to the first issue of release. This time around the "Far Away From Conformity" features new vocals on the song "Blood and Confusion", as well as "The Divine Rapture", with the added remixed and remastered edition of audio and album artwork to boot! So then how does this re-hash do in terms of quality, sound, and style, of the here and now, to the then and where? Well it just so happens to be a refresher for the right now.

As such, this re-release of this album is downright fun and really exciting for the new comers of the band that is Cadaveria. Cadaveria herself, naming said band after one self, just so happens to be the former vocalist and keyboard player of the band Opera IX, with other projects in tow DyNAbyte. But besides those brief details noted, Cadaveria's "Far Away From Conformity", takes the songs mentioned prior i.e. "The Divine Rapture", and "Blood and Confusion", both sound flushed and content, providing those re-done vocalization pipes that really make the music stand out in quality, style, and sound as a wholesome truths. In terms of the rest of the material. 9-tracks in all, you get hit with such numbers as "Omen of Delirium", "Out Body Experience", and "Prayer of Sorrow", with the added bonus of a Blondie cover of their song "Call Me", these selections and the remainder is just catchy, melody driven, and very upbeat in tones, rhythm and edginess.

Overall Cadaveria's second release of an album that once was and is still "Far Away From Conformity", is a good rehash of something heard prior. The re-release being a remaster of material that suits the band, right, both in quality and in terms of style of sound as well. Cadaveria is an act to follow as to not be missed either.

After recently signing to Century Media Records for their upcoming studio album, DARK FUNERAL is now ready to present a series of reissues for their previous six albums that offer melodic yet blasting satanic hymns in absolute perfection. Created with the band's close cooperation, the first batch of Dark Funeral reissues covers the self-titled MCD (plus bonus material), The Secrets Of The Black Arts (including the remixed/remastered 8-track Unisound mix as a bonus), and Vobiscum Satanas (including live tracks). These titles will be released in Europe on September 9th and in North America on November 12th via Century Media Records.

In regards to these upcoming reissues (plus Dark Funeral's new vocalist search), the band's mastermind, Lord Ahriman (guitar), comments:

"I'm proud to announce that we are finally doing proper re-issues of our classic albums through Century Media. And to really spice things up, I have dug deep into my personal photo archives to come up with some killer photos/flyers, previously mostly unseen by the public eye. These will be the definite versions of our classic albums, especially the nice vinyls! Each album also contains detailed liner notes - and besides myself, Themgoroth, Dan Swanö and some other old friends that were present at the time I formed the band contributed to this. Unfortunately, I could not finish off these reissues with Blackmoon, who sadly passed away earlier this year, but he was fully aware of them and for In The Sign... and The Secrets... we at least added a tribute page to commemorate him.

We've just ended our festival season with a killer show at Germany's Summer Breeze festival. Now, my/our main focus will be to resume writing the next masterpiece, tentatively set for release in 2014. More news to come...

Dark Funeral is currently looking for a permanent new vocalist - preferable from Scandinavia. Serious applications can be sent to vocalist@darkfuneral.se."

All reissues will be available on black vinyl, in addition to a limited transparent blue vinyl (only 100 copies) at CM Distro. With previously unseen photos, extensive liner notes by Olivier "Zoltar" Badin, bonus material and revamped layouts, these re-mastered classics are essential for every black metal maniac out there.
