Shortly after completing their "Sleepless Empire EU/UK Tour", Italian metal icons Lacuna Coil continue their live momentum with the announcement of their "Sleepless Empire US Tour", which is set to start in March 2026. With this run of dates, the band brings their signature dark atmosphere and the emotional intensity of Sleepless Empire to stages across North America:

Lacuna Coil return to the US with special guests Escape The Fate, as well as VOWWS (Mar. 24 – Apr. 13, 2026) and AXTY (Apr. 15 – Apr. 29, 2026). The tour is set to start in New York on March 24th and concludes in Albany on May 1st.

The announcement comes with a corresponding new official video for "Hosting the Shadow", that shows Lacuna Coil in full force during their set at Aftershock festival in October 2025. Joining them on stage is Lamb Of God front-man Randy Blythe, who is featured on the album track.

"Filming the video for 'Hosting The Shadow' at Aftershock, sharing the stage with my family in Lacuna Coil and with Randy Blythe was a truly cathartic experience. Randy is not only an incredible, professional musician, he's also a precious friend and has added so much to our song. The track stands out as one of the most powerful moments on Sleepless Empire, and the video captures the raw energy and uncompromising presence of the band on stage.

TSHIONG tells the story of a man from the countryside, A-tek (Tsai Chang-hsien), who decides to go to Taipei to seek help from CHTHONIC when his village faces a malicious development project.  Along the way, he becomes CHTHONIC’s driver. Being a naïve fan of CHTHONIC, he believed the band members were akin to superheroes and would fight the injustice befalling his village, but gradually he discovers that they are not as courageous as he thought.

Randy Blythe of LAMB OF GOD plays himself in the film. In the story, he comes to Taiwan for musical collaboration with CHTHONIC, but becomes good friends with A-tek. They take part in street protests side-by-side, and clash with the police several times. “It's a comedy. Although it might not be easy for foreigners to understand the Taiwanese humour in the film,” says CHTHONIC vocalist, Freddy Lim. “I'm sure it's still lots of fun watching bunch of metalheads crashing against cops and fooling around...”

CHTHONIC and LAMB OF GOD became good friends at Ozzfest 2007. In 2011, CHTHONIC invited Randy to appear as a special guest in its Final Battle at Sing Ling Temple concert. In 2014, Randy came to Taiwan again to film TSHIONG. “It was wonderful to have our friend in this film with us.  Randy did a great job in his role,” says CHTHONIC vocalist, Freddy Lim.

As news has broken of Randy Blythe’s indictment on manslaughter charges in the Czech Republic, manager Larry Mazer responds with the following statement:

“After a three month investigation, the prosecutor in the Czech Republic has decided to move forward with an indictment of Randy Blythe on the charge of manslaughter with intent to cause bodily harm. Obviously, we intend to fight vigorously against these charges as we feel that in no way did Randy intend to cause bodily harm on the young fan who subsequently died from injuries sustained at the show. As he has stated previously, Randy intends to go to Prague to defend himself at trial.

“While it is a tragedy that a Lamb of God fan died following a performance by the group, in no way do I feel that Randy did anything improper that led to the young man’s injuries and subsequent death. The price of a ticket to a show does not entitle audience members access to a band’s stage. In the years since the murder on stage of Dimebag Darrell Abbott, performers of all genres have had to become more guarded while performing in response to the dangers presented by fans trying to become part of the performance. We believe that Randy responded professionally to the numerous amount of fans rushing the stage that day, a number of them captured on videos that have been posted on the internet. We have testimony from the venue operator that acknowledges lax security and an improper barricade being used that evening. Numerous testimonies from fans also were contradictory as to the actions of the multiple fans that tried to access the stage.

“At this point, all that the band, myself, and our lawyers can do is to present a defense and try to convince the panel of judges who will hear the case that Randy is innocent of all charges and that his name and reputation need to be cleared and that he be permitted to carry on with his life and career always mindful that a fan passed away after a Lamb of God performance.”

Greetings. This is D. Randall Blythe, checking in from my beloved hometown of Richmond, VA, United States of America. I was recently released on bail from Pankrác Prison in Prague, Czech Republic, after over a month of incarceration. Now that I am out for the moment, I would like to say a few things.


1.    While in prison, I had minimal knowledge of how my case was viewed anywhere but the Czech Republic. I was told by my attorney that I had a lot support from peers in the music industry, my hometown, fans, and of course my family.  I cannot express how emotional it made me upon my release to read about even a fraction of the voices that were raised on my behalf. From legends in my music community, to fans across the world, and even people who were previously unaware of my existence but sympathized with my plight- I am truly humbled.  I cannot thank you enough for your thoughts and prayers. I would especially like to thank the people of Richmond, VA, for standing by me. In the 48 hours I have been home, many people I have never met before have stopped me on the street, waved and smiled as I passed by, or said hello in a restaurant. All have said "We are glad you are home, Randy". You all make me proud and grateful that I call Richmond home.

2.    I would like state that I suffered no abuse, from either authorities or inmates, during my incarceration in Pankrác. I received no special treatment, and was in general population with everyone else- make no mistake, it was prison, not some celebrity rehab tv show. But I was treated fairly by the guards and kindly by my fellow inmates. People are dying of starvation all over the world. Men and women are losing their lives daily in the Middle East and other war torn regions. I had food, clothes, shelter, and no one was trying to kill me. I cannot complain over a short stay in prison while many people elsewhere fight to survive on a daily basis.

3.    If it is deemed necessary for me to do so, I WILL return to Prague to stand trial. While I maintain my innocence 100%, and will do so steadfastly, I will NOT hide in the United States, safe from extradition and possible prosecution. As I write this, the family of a fan of my band suffers through the indescribably tragic loss of their child. They have to deal with constantly varying media reports about the circumstances surrounding his death. I am charged with maliciously causing severe bodily harm to this young man, resulting in his death. While I consider the charge leveled against me ludicrous and without qualification, my opinion makes no difference in this matter. The charge exists, and for the family of this young man, questions remain. The worst possible pain remains. It is fairly common knowledge amongst fans of my band that I once lost a child as well. I, unfortunately, am intimately familiar with what their pain is like. Therefore, I know all too well that in their time of grief, this family needs and deserves some real answers, not a media explosion followed by the accused killer of their son hiding like a coward thousands of miles away while they suffer. I am a man. I was raised to face my problems head on, not run from them like a petulant child. I hope that justice is done, and the family of Daniel N. will receive the closure they undoubtably need to facilitate healing. I feel VERY STRONGLY that as an adult, it would be both irresponsible and immoral for me not to return to Prague if I am summoned. This is not about bail money. This is about a young man who lost his life. I will act with honor, and I will fight to clear my good name in this matter. Thank you for reading this, and I wish you all peace.

After five weeks in a prison in Prague in the Czech Republic, Randy Blythe has been released on bail and is returning to the United States.  Although LAMB OF GOD has cancelled their summer co-headline tour with Dethklok, the band has agreed to play the KNOTFEST shows on August 17th in Council Bluffs, Iowa and August 18th in Somerset, Wisconsin.

The band is currently targeting October 26th as the start date for a U.S tour.  Dates and cities will be released as soon as possible.  Randy will be making a public statement discussing his time in Prague and thanking fans worldwide for their support in the next week.

Due to the continued incarceration of LAMB OF GOD singer Randy Blythe in the Czech Republic, the band’s co-headline tour with Dethklok scheduled to begin August 1st in Seattle is being cancelled.  The band regrets the decision but the uncertainty of Randy’s release makes it impossible to carry on with the tour.  Upon Randy’s release, it is the band’s intention to rebook a tour in the fall and at this time the band fully intends to participate in the Mayhem Cruise in December. 

LAMB OF GOD wishes to thank Dethklok, Adult Swim and Gojira for their support and patience as well as all of the promoters who had dates on the tour.  Last but certainly not least, the band thanks all of the fans who bought tickets for the tour and who have been supportive of Randy and the band over the last month that Randy has been held in Prague.  Without the fans, there is no LAMB OF GOD.

ADULT SWIM STATEMENT REGARDING UPCOMING TOUR:

In light of circumstances beyond our control, the upcoming Dethklok and Lamb of God with Gojira summer tour has been canceled. Refunds will be available to customers who already purchased tickets through their point of purchase. We thank Dethklok fans for their continued support and look forward to releasing information about the band's upcoming third album and a planned fall tour in the coming weeks.

LAMB OF GOD management will be issuing an official statement on Monday regarding the charges made against singer Randy Blythe. As no formal charges have yet been made and the case is only in the investigation stages, it would be premature to make an official statement filled with false truths or innuendos.

Having said that, management wished to address today one false piece of information that has been included in many of the news stories released so far. Under no circumstances was there a fight of any kind involved. This incident deals with a fan that three times during the concert jumped the barricade and rushed Randy during the performance. It is alleged that the third time, security was not able to reach him and that Randy pushed him back into the audience where supposedly he fell and hit his head.

Again, until the investigation is concluded this weekend, nothing more will be released, but clarity and the facts needed to be addressed on this one reported point which is totally inaccurate.

LAMB OF GOD in conjunction with Epic Records and Appetizer Mobile bring you the “Vox of God” iPhone App. The “Vox of God” app is a voice modulating iOS app developed specifically for LAMB OF GOD in support of their Resolution album release and 2012 tour.

The app creates a vocal simulation of LAMB OF GOD lead singer Randy Blythe’s vocal style by applying advanced audio processing techniques and audio modulation to a voice that is recorded with the app. The results will generate a simulation of Randy’s signature scream/growl vocal effect when the user records their voice using the app with their iPhone. The application features a growl level indicator and several different sharing options. Users will be able to record with or without an instrumental version of the ‘Ghost Walking’ single, along with playback recording features, and social network integration where the user can share their resulted recording though email, Facebook, and Twitter.

Tragedy brings people together, for better or for worse. This weekend, a host of bands (including weedgrinders CANNABIS CORPSE), metal fans, friends and family will come together to celebrate the life and memory of GWAR's Cory Smoot (aka Flattus Maximus), whose untimely passing has shaken the metal world to its core. Fellow Richmond death metallers CANNABIS CORPSE will be joined by LAMB OF GOD vocalist Randy Blythe for a special one-off set of dank death metal brutality. Following the recent departures of Andy "Weedgrinder" Horn and Nick "Nikropolis" Poulos and unwilling to cancel their performance, CANNABIS CORPSE decided to join forces with their old friend Blythe to ensure that this gig is a truly special experience for everyone involved.

In an earlier press release from his PR rep, Blythe commented: "Cory was the guitarist in GWAR who passed away recently and was a friend of mine who recorded my guest vocals on the JASTA CD. He leaves a pregnant wife behind (their first child) and a mortgage. Cory didn't have life insurance and his wife is going to need every penny she can get with a kid on the way and bills to pay. Although GWAR is a relatively large band and are doing all they can for Mrs. Smoot, the fact of the matter nobody is rich and times will be hard. My friends in CANNABIS CORPSE were scheduled to play the benefit show, but suddenly are having lineup difficulties (lost the singer). So what the fuck and why not? On January 7, CANNABIS CORPSE WILL play — but I will be singing! Come check out some brutal death metal for a good cause! I'll be working on my death metal voice 'till then, pretending to smoke weed and getting deeper than fuck. "
