Swedish death metallers Entrails are announcing the departure of singer/bassist Tommy and drummer Martin from the band. Both have chosen to leave Entrails to have more time for their jobs and other bands.

The remaining members, Jimmy and Penki, didn't waste any time and have recruited new members to make sure not to miss any shows and keep the Entrails train rolling! The new maniacs in the band are Freddy Ortscheid on drums and Marcus Brorsson on guitars and backing vocals.

Freddy is known for drumming in bands like Still I Wither, Magic Kingdom and Omnicide among others. Comments Freddy: "I can proudly announce that I'm now the new official drummer for Entrails. I am both honored and exited for this - let the mayhem begin!"

Marcus is known as the guitarist in Soma and Omnicide and comments as follows: "I'm really psyched about joining Entrails and getting a chance to spread some old school Swedish death metal to the world. All for the sake of keeping it brutal."

Penki Samuelson will switch from guitars to main vocals and bass. This will bring back the sound to a more old school feeling.

Jimmy Lundqvist comments: "I know it's not optimal to change members, but when people leave new guys had to be found to keep the band alive. With these new and damn good musicians onboard we shall continue to spread the same old school feeling Entrails stands for!"

Penki Samuelson: "Markus and Freddy truly bring a new dimension to the band. Everything fell in place at first rehearsal and it sounds great and feels amazing!"

Entrails will further on book their shows via "Black Serpent Promotion" and themselves. Just drop your interest in booking at black-serpent-promotion@gmx.de or via the band directly at entrailsreborn@hotmail.com for further discussions/booking.

While rumors are still flying thick and fast in the media, Tom Angelripper has already announced the new line-up of his band Sodom: Husky (Asphyx, Desaster) is set to man the drum kit, Frank Blackfire (ex-Sodom, ex-Kreator, Frank Blackfire, Assassin) and Yorck Segatz (Beyondition) have been enlisted on guitars. Sodom have already released seminal albums such as Persecution Mania, the live cut Mortal Way Of Live and the highly successful Agent Orange with Frank Blackfire. As he had hinted at the beginning of the year, Tom has opted for a line-up featuring two guitarists, an absolute novelty for Sodom. "Two guitarists allow us much more possibilities live, so we will be able to play tracks in future that we weren't able to perform as a trio," the Sodom vocalist/bassist explains his motives. In line with these new possibilities, the thrash act has already started to put together a setlist for the upcoming shows with all important classics as well as rare numbers that had never or only rarely been heard at their gigs. Says Tom: "I can promise that we will really let it rip in future."

In Frank Blackfire, Yorck Segatz and Husky, Tom has consciously gone for musicians from his own background. "It's common knowledge that all three are exceptional instrumentalists and that heavy metal is their life. But Sodom is also about getting on on a personal level. The new band members are all dyed-in-the-wool Sodom fans and all live in Essen. Need I say more?"

While the guys have just moved into their new rehearsal room (Tom: "As it happens exactly where it all started back in 1982!"), the Sodom mastermind is already looking to the future. "We'll start writing new material as soon as possible and plan to release a single with at least two brand-new numbers and a bonus track to give our fans a taste of our upcoming album," he promises. "The direction of the new material already stands: ready for action and full of adrenaline, Sodom are set to celebrate the glorious days of the 1980's old school thrash that we all grew up with and that the band has always been celebrated for."

Avenger Of Blood is a thrash metal act from Las Vegas, Nevada who also got their start in 2001 and went on to releases two full-lengths "Complete Annihilation" (2005) and "Death Brigade" (2008) along with two demos, vinyl, and was featured in a complication album. After a few line-up changes and touring routes the band faded away not to be heard from again until NOW!

The band recently posted an assortment of updates via the band's Facebook page,

"Giving another update and this time its a decent size one for you! As we stated last week, we finally enter Constantine Studios to record some new songs on May 26th. We are titling this 3 song EP 'Spawn of Evil' and so far we are very happy with the songs! The songs we will be recording are titled "Spawn of Evil", "Aggressive Psychotic Behavior" and "Centuries of Hell"! We are also going to be recording a video. Not sure which song it will be for yet, but the band has never had an official video ever, so this is something we are excited about! We got our artork in the works for some shirts and a possible cover. We are getting shirts and a few merchandise items for sure but that will be sometime in mid-late June. The art is being done up by Mark Riddick of Riddickart who is an amazing artist known for his work with Gravehill, Coffins, Crucified Mortals, Cemetary Urn, Morbid Angel, and more! We have been talking about getting back out to play live and looking at booking our 1st show back with the new line-up towards the end of August. Nothing is set in stone yet, its just in the planning stages."

So expect new shows, a new line-up, and ALL NEW MUSIC coming soon!
