We’re extremely pleased to announce the signing of alternative metal newcomers, Nereis. Originally formed in 2007 under the name Blackstar, Nereis are an alternative metal band with a heavy-rock edge. The band caught the attention of Eclipse Records after achieving over 125,000 downloads of their independently-released "From the Ashes" EP via free music portal, Jamendo. In 2017, the band finished recording a new full-length album entitled "Turning Point", which will be released in the Summer of 2018.

"After finishing our new album, we searched for a record label that would meet our expectations," states vocalist Andrea Barchiesi. "We finally found at last, what we had been looking for, and we are enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with Eclipse Records that, in my opinion does a great job with its bands. I believe that we can be an amazing team together and promote our music at its best."


SET BEFORE US has announced their signing with Eclipse Records! Hailing from the suburbs of Stockholm, Set Before Us have developed a mature, polished sound which goes against the grain of traditional metalcore. The band are currently in the studio, finishing up a brand new eleven-song album entitled Vitae, which is scheduled for release this Summer.

We can't wait sharing what we have for you all, and we hope from the bottom of our hearts that you'll enjoy it” says guitarist Niklas Edström. “Set Before Us has always been driven by two main goals; we want to give our audience solid music, and a brilliant live show. Eclipse Records is proud to announce the signing of Lillye to an exclusive, worldwide deal. Based in Sydney (Australia), Lillye are a rock band fronted by professional vocalist Virginia Lillye. After working the European theater circuit for ten years in musicals such as Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair, Grease, and Fame; Virginia Lillye traveled back to her hometown of Sydney to pursue a passion for rock and formed the band in 2012 with Christian Lauria (bass), Matt Ellis (guitar), and Bennet Livingston (drums). Their new album entitled Evolve will be released on May 18, 2018.

"We have been searching for a label that we could relate to and after several meetings with Eclipse Records; we felt that this was the right choice for us. We are excited about the deal and we look forward to sharing our music on a grander scale!" states vocalist Virginia Lillye. Drummer Bennet Livingston adds, "With our debut album ready to be released, we feel that the team at Eclipse are the best positioned to help the album reach as many people as possible. We are excited about where this album can take us, and look forward to the future with Eclipse."

Eclipse Records is excited to announce the signing of Society’s Plague to an exclusive, worldwide deal. Based in Lexington, KY, Society’s Plague fuse melodic death metal with dueling guitar harmonies and infectious orchestral keyboard arrangements. Their new album entitled "Call to the Void" will be released in April of 2018.

Formed in 2007, Society’s Plague released their debut album The Human, The Canvas in 2010 via Stand and Deliver Records. After much touring, the band took a hiatus in 2013. They returned in 2016 to a sold-out hometown show, and began writing new material for their next album. In the Summer of 2017, the band entered Subterranean Studios in Lexington to record their new album, Call to the Void, and shortly thereafter was picked up by Eclipse Records (Mushroomhead, A Breach of Silence, Bobaflex).

"We’re really excited to be working with Eclipse Records. All of us have worked really hard to make this album happen, and to have a label with this much dedication to their musicians; I can't think of a better team to have signed with,” states guitarist Roger Clem. Vocalist Matt Newton adds, “Signing with Eclipse is immensely exciting. It's a chance for us to work with a great label to share the music that we love with everyone and I couldn't be more excited!"
