Down in the valley, the San Fernando Valley at a record shop known as The Midnight Hour, would hold a concert, where some thrash and death metal acts would collide and play this fine chilly evening. Having arrived a little after 7PM, some of the bands were already performing, so catching the last few was the best option, seeing Contract Killer, Greenwitch and Creeping Death.

Contract Killer would play a mix of hardcore meets thrash metal, having an array of hardcore dancers, dancing around in the pit, running into one another, amongst the crowd. While others tried to stage dive, and a mosh pit would go circular at times. It was energetic left and right throughout their set. Everyone there would be entertained and into their performance antics, as the band would encourage all there to get into it, going crazy, thrashing about, to pushing everyone else around them, with some falling atop of one another. They brought the momentum that kept overflowing into the next acts following.

CONTRACT KILLER:

Up would be Greenwitch a trans death metal act, whose style of death metal music would be created by various artists, expressing themselves through a theme of identity, struggles, and transformation among other experiences. This would be something different, making their set being just as energetic, yet flawless. At times, their set would cause chaos, that more fists and feet would go flying, causing such havoc it was endless. It caused a lot of entertaining elements that even someone stage dived as best as they could, and it worked, with others falling down, to everyone else just enjoying themselves really.

GREENWITCH:

Creeping Death is a death metal band from out of Texas, and are proud of it, as it is expressed upon their merchandise like no tomorrow! But their set was aggressive, that everyone ran in the pit, to more hardcore dancing, that it caused damage to one individual. After that, the show would turn violent, causing more people to go critical, with more hardcore dancing, and such energy it felt as if it was never to stop. These guys know how to put on a show, it made their performance fun yet quite dangerous too.

CREEPING DEATH:

Overall tonight’s small spaced showcase was spent, small but fun sized. It had everyone there fulfilled yet entertained throughout the night. Each act giving it their all, that this evening would be remembered easily.
