Walkways // Alternative Metal

Israel’s biggest modern metal band. The band’s music is its antidote to the chaotic nature of living in Israel, an oasis for sanity and humanity, the band’s avenue to ensure the past is not their future. The genre-bending sound of Walkways includes ferocious riffs and screams, epic melodies and anthems, and fragile softer moments equally as profound. Their 2nd album 'Bleed Out, Heal Out,' (Nuclear Blast 2019) elevated their global profile. After extensive touring and sharing stages with Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, In Flames, Jinjer and more, the band is finishing a third full-length album due for 2025 release.

“It’s going to be great for the fans,” Kerry King said. "Not having toured in a number of years, there might be some people at this show who have never seen Slayer before, or in some time. So, for the Hershey concert, we’ll play a Slayer show, we’ll have all of our big fire effects, just burn everything like we used to - a real Slayer show.” Added King, "“This will be the first time Slayer has played with Power Trip or Knocked Loose, but I am well aware of them from word of mouth and hearing their music on Liquid Metal. I’m looking forward to seeing them live.

Added Tom Araya, "My favorite part of what I do is the stage time. Nothing compares to the 90-minutes when we’re on stage playing live, sharing that intense energy with our fans. I love singing, and I love convincing everybody, ‘my god, that guy is a maniac.'”

“I’ve been a Slayer fan ever since I was a kid," said Priest. "Metal has always had a special place in wrestling, Slayer’s legacy is woven into the fabric of wrestling, and the genre wouldn’t be where it is today without Slayer.  This September at Hershey Park Stadium in Pennsylvania, I’m excited and honored to host Slayer’s show and bring wrestling into their world.”

“Honored to share the stage with one of our all-time favorite bands, Slayer. See you sick f*cks at the riff clinic.“ — Power Trip

"We’re excited to play with some of the best heavy bands of all time, past and present.”

The thrumming of a heartbeat announces the return of the Cavalera brothers to their most volatile recording, the carnage-driven, adrenaline-fueled onslaught that is only known as CHAOS A.D.. Just over thirty years ago Max and Iggor Cavalera took the world by storm when they released their fifth studio album upon the masses, a record that has stood the test of time through the decades. Though the years have passed, CHAOS A.D. is as timeless and relevant as the day it was released. While wars are waged around the globe, violence is witnessed in the streets, hate and disparity are rampant in our everyday lives, albums like CHAOS A.D. are what bind us together, being a prospect of light in an otherwise bleak and corrupt world.

This September, Cavalera and crew will be embarking across the U.S. on their RETURN TO CHAOS tour, alongside other remarkable acts such as Slayer, Lamb Of God, Power Trip, Sanguisugabogg and many more purveyors of extreme metal. With the obvious success of their recent re-recordings, it is guaranteed that the Cavalera duo will be bringing their top-notch energy and proficiency to reviving CHAOS A.D. on stage. Songs like Refuse/Resist, Territory, Slave New World and Propaganda have been heralded as anthems for the underdogs, and to witness these tracks brought back to life is nothing short of a blessing. CHAOS A.D. is still regarded as one of the most influential recordings of the 90’s, garnering them Gold Record status and a benchmark in the halls of heavy metal history.

Max shouts out a rallying cry, “Tanks on the streets, confronting police, bleeding the plebs!” And Iggor thunders through the drum intro to Territory like an Apache Helicopter. Silence means death! Stand on your feet! Cavalera will be bombarding the states, decimating every stage they encounter as if they were a warzone.

British deathcore quintet Dead Flesh have announced their first post-Bloodstock shows! The band, who are set to appear at Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2025 as part of the Sophie Stage on Thursday, August 7th, have been announced as support for two monstrous London shows!

The first sees them as support for German slam merchants Gutrectomy and French deathcore crew Kanine at the Camden Assembly on August 24th. The second will be at The Underworld in Camden Town with Australian deathcore outfit To The Grave on August 29th. The Underworld show is rounded out by extreme metallers Beyond Extinction and British deathcore savages Osiah. Tickets for the Gutrectomy show can be bought HERE and the To The Grave show HERE.

The news of both their upcoming appearances comes off the back of the release of their new single, ‘D.N.R’, which released on March 25th, and was their latest collaboration with producer Justin Paul Hill (SikTh).

The video for ‘D.N.R’ can be viewed HERE.

Speaking about their inclusion at Bloodstock drummer Michael “Nelly” O’Neill said: “We’re thrilled to be invited to play Bloodstock for a second time! We’d like to say a big thank you to the team for trusting us with opening the festival.”

Since their rousing performance at BOA in 2024, Dead Flesh have gone from strength to strength, playing shows across the UK and Ireland, as well as signing with US-based management company Extreme Management Group, who also work with such luminaries as Suffocation, Misery Index, Cryptopsy, and Atheist.

Dead Flesh are a five-piece deathcore band from Hertfordshire. Formed in 2021, the quintet come from an experienced background of musical talent and the ambition to bring their unique deathcore sound, hellish lyrics, and breakneck energy to a wide audience across the UK.

They released their first self-titled single 'Dead Flesh' in 2022, after working with Justin Paul Hill (SikTh), and became finalists in Hitchin's Metal 2 the Masses, after less than a year of performing together. Going on to win the contest in 2024, securing their place at the festival that same year.

Their debut EP, “Dehumanise”, came out in early 2024 to rave reviews. Metal Hammer called it a “Bile filled, anti-establishment”, No Clean Singing referring to it as a “Blast furnace of fury”, and Scream Blast Repeat stated the record was a “Human soup for a hateful God”.

Speaking about the EP, vocalist Rich Stevenson stated: ""Dehumanise" is a personal dive into misery, depression, and the state of the world in its current form. Dead Flesh bring five tracks of brutality that give a stark representation of personal struggle."

West Coast thrash metal legends Dark Angel will embark on "The Extinction Level Event" North American Tour this fall, their first domestic trek in over three decades.

Dark Angel’s first North American tour since the early 1990s celebrates their forthcoming comeback album, Extinction Level Event (Reversed Records), their first new album since 1991.

Formed in 1981 – the same year as Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Mercyful Fate, and Sodom – Dark Angel earned a devoted cult following as pioneers and architects of the burgeoning thrash metal sound. The genre-defining We Have Arrived (1985), Darkness Descends (1986), Leave Scars (1989), and Time Does Not Heal (1991) helped shape a musical movement alongside their peers.

Renowned for their ferocity and precision, the band’s signature blend of speed, technicality, and intensity made them beloved by headbangers around the world, as evidenced by the t-shirts and patches brandished by fans in the years since the band’s original run. The blistering “Circular Firing Squad” gave the thrash faithful another taste of the new album when it dropped last month. It followed April’s release of the title track, written by late co-founding guitarist Jim Durkin.

“Musically, lyrically, and vocally, I’m so stoked about this album,” says Gene Hoglan, the iconic drummer and “Atomic Clock” who powered classic albums and tours by Death, Testament, Strapping Young Lad, Fear Factory, Dethklok, and the all-star Death tribute, Death To All.

Dark Angel’s modern line-up features classic era members Hoglan and guitarist Eric Meyer; bassist Mike Gonzalez, vocalist Ron Rinehart, and the latest addition, Laura Christine, who first performed with them in 2022. “I’m really excited about Dark Angel right now,” Hoglan says. “And everyone who’s heard the new album is losing their minds.”

Support acts for The Extinction Level Event North American Tour vary by date, boasting a diverse blend of metal styles: Sacred Reich, Hirax, Vio-Lence, Midnight, Void, and Interceptor.

The forthcoming Extinction Level Event was produced and engineered by Rob Shallcross and mixed by Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Metallica, Rush) at The Armoury Studios in Vancouver, BC.

Death To All, the touring tribute to the late Chuck Schuldiner and his pioneering band Death, returns to North American stages this November for a month-long celebration of two of the legendary band’s landmark albums: Spiritual Healing (1990) and Symbolic (1995).

“The time has come to commemorate a couple of milestones in the DEATH catalog,” says Gene Hoglan, whose iconic drum performances graced classic DEATH albums, Individual Thought Patterns (1993) and Symbolic. “30 years of Symbolic and 35 years of Spiritual Healing! Two vastly different yet very important eras of DEATH. Both albums are going to be a blast to represent.”

Hoglan is joined in the Death To All line-up by fellow Death veterans Steve DiGiorgio (bassist on 1991’s Human as well as Individual Thought Patterns) and Bobby Koelble (guitarist on Symbolic), as well as Max Phelps (Exist, ex-Cynic) on guitar and vocals. Death To All celebrated Scream Bloody Gore (1987) and The Sound of Perseverance (1998) across North America in 2024.

Along with the dual album celebration, each night will showcase classics from DEATH’s catalog.

“Will Spiritual Healing and Symbolic be performed in their entirety like last year’s sold-out Scream of Perseverance tour?” Hoglan teases. “Well, everyone is going to have to catch these shows for themselves to see. Will it be an incredible night of unforgettable metal, honoring the great Chuck Schuldiner, as only Death To All can do? Of course it will. Death To All stands alone.”

The fall tour will feature special guests Gorguts and Phobophilic.

"It's with great honor that we'll be sharing the stage with these death metal monuments,” says Gorguts vocalist/guitarist Luc Lemay. “DEATH had such an important influence on me as an artist. It’s the band that made me want to become a death metal musician. Chuck was my idol, my inspiration. See you on stage. Be prepared for an evening of classic death metal!”

North Dakota death dealers Phobophilic will open each show with their cerebral savagery.

“This will be an unforgettable tour, indeed,” Hoglan promises. “We can’t wait to share these November nights with all of you.”

In celebration of the 20 Year Anniversary of their landmark album Pink, Japanese legends Boris have announced a North American tour in October + November 2025.

Since their humble beginnings, Boris have fused catchy heavy rock with expansive, experimental soundscapes— two seemingly opposing forces brought into harmony on a single sonic plane.  With Pink as a pivotal point, Boris would go on to further evolve and deepen their own definition of “heavy” by releasing an immense body of work while continually expanding the scope of their creative endeavors. Even now, they remain unswayed by convention, honing a singular aesthetic that defies predictability.

This upcoming tour marks the 20th anniversary of Pink and will be performed by the three-piece lineup from that era.  Centered around tracks from Pink, the tour will feature the very setlist that once boldly repainted the map of heavy rock with its vivid sonic colors.

Boris comment:

"'Do You Remember Pink Days?'

For those who experienced that era in real time—and for those encountering it live for the first time—this question will echo across personal timelines, bridging past and future alike.

With a diverse array of guest acts appearing at shows across the U.S., this tour promises to be far more than a simple anniversary celebration. It offers a powerful, immersive glimpse into both the future and multifaceted nature of heavy rock itself."
