Relapse Records is extremely proud to announce the signing of Richmond, Virginia hardcore thrash supergroup, IRON REAGAN. Consisting of current and former members of Municipal Waste, Cannabis Corpse, Darkest Hour, Mammoth Grinder, Suppression and a thousand other killer bands, IRON REAGAN formed in 2012 and consists of vocalist Tony Foresta, guitarists Phil Hall and Mark Bronzino, bassist Rob Skotis and drummer Ryan Parrish.

IRON REAGAN is currently in the midst of recording their highly anticipated sophomore full-length with guitarist Phil Hall at Blaze Of Torment Studios in their hometown of Richmond and will be self-producing the record before sending it off to Converge's Kurt Ballou to be mixed. A Fall release is expected.

Tony Foresta comments on the signing and the new tunes brewing: "I've wanted to work with Relapse for years. Their reputation of releasing so much great underground music speaks for itself. We are all extremely excited about signing with Relapse and putting out this rager of an upcoming record. Having Kurt Ballou on board mixing is just the icing on the cake. We are about 75% done tracking the record here with Phil in Richmond and between this and the rad tours we have coming up, it's looking to be a very exciting year. I couldn't think of a better label to put this record out on and am really looking forward to a long future with Relapse."

Relapse Records has announced the official re-signing of recently reunited New York death metal legends SKINLESS.

Formed in 1992 in Albany, New York, SKINLESS has released four full-length albums and numerous EPs throughout its 20-plus-year career. After disbanding in 2011, the group is now back together with the classic "Progression Towards Evil" lineup (Sherwood Webber on vocals, Noah Carpenter on guitar, Joe Keyser on bass, Bob Beaulac on drums) plus the recent addition of Dave Matthews on second guitar.

SKINLESS will begin writing the long-awaited follow-up to 2006's "Trample The Weak, Hurdle The Dead" for a late 2014 release. In the meantime, fans can catch SKINLESS at the inaugural Denver Black Sky Fest. Founded by SKINLESS vocalist Sherwood Webber, Denver Black Sky will be held on December 14. Following their imminent devastation of Denver, SKINLESS will punish upstate New York with two already sold-out shows at the Upstate Concert Hall. Additional dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

Webber commented on the re-signing:" Relapse Records!

"I'm sure it's rare for a band to speak so highly of their label after a 13-year relationship.

"It's an honor to have such a team to work with.

"Relapse's support and friendship is beyond appreciated.

"The Relapse experience is hard to explain, but you can notice immense camaraderie between all the bands on the roster.

"It's been one of the great privileges I've had in the music business to be a part of the Relapse family.

"Thanks guys, tell the world it's doomed!"

Added Carpenter: "We're proud to be a part of the sadistic Relapse family once again.

"SKINLESS is far overdue for a new album so that will be our priority for the next year. Basically, we're going to put the 'Progression', 'Foreshadowing' and 'Trample' albums into a blender, add some guitar solos and serve up the heaviest SKINLESS release yet."

The massively anticipated fourth LP from Japan’s death/doom metal kings COFFINS will finally arrive this Summer in the form of The Fleshland, the band’s maiden LP under the banner of Relapse Records.

The Fleshland will be the first proper studio album from COFFINS since their commended Buried Death album, released by 20 Buck Spin in 2008, undoubtedly making it one of the most awaited death/doom albums of 2013. Recorded late 2012/early 2013 at Tokyo’s Noise Room Studio with engineer Shigenori Kobayashi, and produced by Bungo Uchino and the rest of COFFINS, The Fleshland shows the revamped and expanded band lineup smashing down everything in their path, having upped the lineup from a trio to a quartet with a new drummer and full-time vocalist since Buried Death. Nine grisly numbers thunder with the unbeatable mid-paced COFFINS stomp, laying down over forty-five minutes of bruising low-end sludge-infiltrated, plodding doom with possibly the best production values in the band’s meaty catalog of carnage.

Relapse will roll out The Fleshland via CD, download and mammoth 2xLP, the bloodsoaked opus now locked for a North American release date of July 9th. In addition, a deluxe black and white artwork edition on 2xLP, Cassette and CD will be made available only via Relapse direct. Today the label has released the album’s cover art -- as with their previous albums, COFFINS having once again chosen the gruesome hands of Chris Moyen (Morbosidad, Black Witchery, Incantation, Blasphemy, etc.) to illustrate their works -- along with a visual trailer for the album as well as preorder packages. Check it all out HERE.

Fresh on the heels of the release of their critically acclaimed fifth album Book Burner, The undisputed kings of grind PIG DESTROYER have re-signed with their long time record label home Relapse Records.

The band commented on the re-signing with Relapse:

"Super excited to be a part of the extraordinary Relapse Records again! A song comes to mind in the melody of the "Team America" jingle. "Relapse, FUCK YEAH! Once again, signing a muthafuckin contract!"
- Adam Jarvis

"Relapse has been a great home for both ANb and PIG DESTROYER since the very early days. We're not an easy band to deal with but Relapse has been patient, enthusiastic, and accommodating to our headache-inducing schedules, our strict adherence to not touring or behaving like a normal band, and just generally being pains-in-the-asses. We wouldn't trade that for anything."
- Scott Hull

"I don't always sign contracts with record labels, but when I do, I choose Relapse."
-jR Hayes

Quebec's bastardized grinders FUCK THE FACTS have recently posted the track “A Coward’s Existence” from the band's upcoming album, Die Miserable.

Stated FTF guitarist Topon Das about the theme behind the song and the album as a whole: "Musically, this is the song I feel embodies almost all the elements of the album. Some of the other songs on the album seem to lean more towards the fast and crazy elements and some more towards the melodic, but on 'A Coward's Existence,' I feel like we really were able to make it all work together. The song is from the point of view of someone who doesn't take any chances in life, because of fear of failure, ridicule... someone that just waits and hopes for fate to make things happen for them, and before they know it, their time is up and they never got to do all things they wish they had. This is pretty much the basis of the album title Die Miserable. If we spend all our time worrying about money, what other people will do or think, if we're good enough to accomplish the things we want to do, that eventually it ends with regret and a void that was never filled because we were to afraid to live the life was always wanted to."

Check out the scorching “A Coward’s Existence” at FUCK THE FACTS' Bandcamp page HERE.

A live version of the song filmed at The Cake Shop in NYC as part of FUCK THE FACTS' 10-year anniversary can be viewed HERE, and the band have also posted an in-studio video of the track that can be viewed HERE.

Set for release in North America via Relapse Records on October 11th, Die Miserable was recorded between tours at their own home studio. Featuring over 35 minutes of FUCK THE FACTS' scorching blend of socio-politically-charged grind, hardcore and metal fans worldwide have embraced for the past decade, the album showcases some of the finest work the band has embodied to date.
