We are excited to announce that Briefcase Blues TM out of Dallas, TX has signed an Artist Contract with Integrity Music Management. The longest-running and firstestablished tribute to the Blues Brothers, Briefcase Blues is a great addition to the IMM family, and it is an honor to represent this legendary showband. In addition to paying tribute to the personae of “Jake” and “Elwood” since 1983 (by frontmen-entertainers J. Leggio and Lee Schwing, respectively), Briefcase Blues is backed with an eight-piece band that has been comprised of award-winning musicians from all over the U.S., bringing to the stage powerhouse performances that have concertgoers jumping and singing along; from L.A. to New York - from Canada to Mexico (and even Japan) - a knockout show that knows when “to cook” and when to“play it cool”, always putting on a show that holds the audience in the palm of its collective hand.

Besides live performances and a number of live-performance videos and recordings, Briefcase Blues holds the distinction of having been chosen over every other Blues Brothers tribute in 2012 for the JUST DANCE 4 interactive dance game (Ubisoft), lending their voices and horns to an exacting re-dux of “Everybody (Needs Somebody To Love)”.

While a seasoned headline act in its own right for over 31 years, Briefcase Blues has also logged appearances with the original band WAR, The Young Rascals, Kool &The Gang, Joe Walsh and Glenn Frey, Foghat, Spencer Davis, Jefferson Starship, as well as comedians Dennis Miller, Cheech & Chong, Rich Little and Sinbad. “We even did a show that was hosted by “Wally Cleaver” (actor Tony Dow) and “Eddie Haskell” (actor Ken Osmond).”That was one crazy night!” said Leggio. Together, Integrity Music Management and Briefcase Blues will continue to do just what the original Blues Brothers did; an entertaining tribute to the music called “the blues” in all its many forms.

Integrity Music Management was started with one idea – Bringing Integrity to the music industry. David Adkins, along with his business partner Jason Bern, leveraged David’s 15 years in the music industry to fight and protect artist’s rights. As David likes to say “My job is to represent the artist and assist them in maximizing their potential.” Many think of David as generous and caring about others, but will be “pitbull” for what he believes his artists have worked hard for in their careers. David and Jason’s belief, hard work, long hours, support of the artists they represent, and the all-star staff assembled has created a quickly emerging company that is respected.

David came from humble beginnings, a son of a farm labor. His father instilled in him the knowledge of respect was earned by hard work and keeping your word. “My Dad told me ‘Son, if you say you’re going to do something, you need to follow through and do it.’” These words of wisdom have stuck with David his entire life and are the basic idea behind naming his artist management company, Integrity Music Management. The driving force behind David and Jason’s success are their children. David has 3 children and Jason has 2 children, both have a son who is Autistic. With their sons’ health and future in mind, IMM is a supporter of Autism Awareness charities. David and Jason have a desire to leave a legacy for their children that they will be proud and supportive of.

The foundation of the IMM is respect and giving back to communities our artists where preform. David and his artists leave a positive footprint by giving a little bit of themselves to the community prior to performances. David is a firm believer in running his company through traditional grass roots campaigns and a handshake bond. These simple guiding principles set Integrity Music Management apart from other artist management companies. IMM has come out of nowhere, signing some of the biggest up and coming artists and world class tribute bands because of how the company is ran with respect, honesty, and integrity.

Integrity Music Management is gaining a positive reputation in the music community. In the next few years, IMM will be a recognizable name in representing strong talent, giving back to communities through charities and giving of themselves in communities, and being an honest and respectable company.
