Mattel’s Monster High line has engrossed since its debut back in 2010. Now that two years have passed it’s continued to engulf us with its ghoulish secrets upcoming trends and all new products. Thus one line in particular that stirred up interest was its Sweet 1600 line that went on to celebrate Draculaura’s (Daughter of Dracula) Birthday of her turning 1600 years old. So with this celebration there just has to be a doll assortment to accompany this.

Of course I am and that is what has been done with not one but 3 additions that includes beasties Clawdeen Wolf (Daughter of the Werewolf) Clawd Wolf (Son and brother to Clawdeen Wolf/Werewolf) Frankie Stein (Daughter of Frankenstein) and Cupid (Daughter of Eros) BUT that’s not all there was also a special Birthday gift that Draculaura’s father gave her which was a car!


This brings us to this review that captures the edgy yet flashy details that is Draculaura’s Roadster! The styling of this car is basic for the most part it's a basic doll car the doors don't open and only movable parts are the wheels. But as most doll cars tend to have are sticker parts but this is a minor sticker type car, it’s covered in a black coat with pink outer trims here and there. While the seat or seats can fit two ghouls per ride with matching seatbelts to keep safety first. Other notable details are the sleek design with amazing detail in each and every possible way that makes this roadster scarier cool!

On a side note this car has also been seen in one of the many specials in celebration of just this occasion, this past February’s Valentine’s Day weekend TV special “Why Do Ghouls Fall In Love?”.
Expect far more things to come from the world that is and always will be Mattel’s Monster High!

Having released the new Sweet 1600 line starring the fangtastic Booday ghoul Draculaura celebrating her Sweet 16 with Frankie, Clawdeen, and Clawd and the rest of the ghouls, what more could you want? Mattel's celebrating a Birthday with lil vamp ghoul Draculaura and Sweet 1600 Birthday party with all her ghoul friends from Monster High! This new line includes 4 dolls, Draculaura, Clawdeen and Clawd Wolf, and Frankie Stein but some additions may be coming soon with Lagoona and Ghoulia! Monster High's recent Halloween special "Fright On" aired this past year and introduced us to a variety of new characters such as Clawdeen Wolf's and Clawd Wolf's younger sister Howleeen Wolf. She is voiced by American Young who also voices Toralei Stripe in the series. Howleeen has been mentioned a handful of times in Clawdeen's diaries and recent third book in the Monster High book series by Lisi Harrison, "Where There's a Wolf There's a Way". Mattel's Monster High Facebook page has gone to reveal the doll form of Howleen and you should surly expect to see her howling her way to shelves come 2012!

Angelic Dreamz a toy retailer sells numerous toy products including Mattel's very popular Monster High line and they have annouced that they will have the newly annouced line "Sweet 1600" up for pre-order starting November 5th at 2PM EST. The dolls themslves will be shipped mid to late November so just in time for a Christmas grab for this upcomig holiday season. German website Sparshop.biz spilled the guts to the 2012 Monster High lines from Mattel. As such these lines include the new Sweet 1600 theme featuring brother Clawd Wolf and sister Clawdeen Wolf along with Frankie Stein and Draculaura. Also included in this line is Draculaura's Sweet 1600 Booday gift her very fist car! A Sweet 1600 roadster according to the photograph of the vehicle this has not yet been finalized but is a prototype version. The car's sleek design of course features Draculaura's favorite colors of choice pink and black, and is a 2 seater by the looks of it. One other noticeable character is a Sweet 1600 cupid ghoul who' possibly behind the love mischief that has yet to unfold.

Another interesting line has to the Skull Shores assortment or island dolls as Sparshop puts it. This includes Abbey Bominable, Draculaura, Ghoulia Yelps, Lagoona Blue and Gillington "Gil" Webber.

Adding more to the mix is yet another fashion set that by the looks if it belongs to  Spectra Vondergeist top left, Frankie Stein top right, Toralei bottom left and Cleo De Nile bottom right. Another fashon accessory has to be Cleo De Nile's vanity this mummifying stylish set features her colors of yellow, blue, and black and has a chair and of course the vanity itself that has a mirror, dresser, with a nifty outragous design to boot. Expect these to pop up sometime in 2012 possiblity at the start of the New Year if not February being the closet.
