Filmed in Ukraine under the direction of renowned Ukrainian filmmaker Indy Hait, the music video for 'A Fool's Parade' showcases frontwoman Sharon den Adel alongside guest vocalist Alex Yarmak.

The first new single after the band’s eighth studio album Bleed Out (released in October 2023), ‘A Fool’s Parade’ was released on April 5, 2024, and serves as an anthem against the deceptive manoeuvres of Russia. Through their music, Within Temptation continue to shed light on the cruel invasion by Russia in Ukraine and portray the harsh reality Ukrainians are facing.

The band have announced that all royalties from ‘A Fool’s Parade’ will be donated to Music Saves UA, for the duration of the war.

This decision underscores Within Temptation's unwavering support for Ukraine, and their ongoing involvement with initiatives like the Ukraine Aid OPS foundation.

Blending black metal/horror theatrics with intense death metal style blast beats and shredding guitar along with brutal slamming breakdowns and catchy melodies, Toledo, OH symphonic deathcore band The Convalescence unleashed their latest album entitled "Harvesters Of Flesh And Bone" this past November on Cleopatra Records.

The band "SKUMLOVE's new EP "Feeding The Ego" is soon to be released with the success of their single "EGO", which was produced by Alex Crescioni and Mastered by Maor Appelbaum.  The band decided to connect with some old friends and some new ones to put together a remix EP called “Feeding The Ego.” which will hit your digital streaming services and iTunes on April 31st.

The first Single was a collaboration with one of our favorites, Combichrist.  Andy LaPlegua really added their staple to this song.  We got Jay Gordon of Orgy collaborating with the new artist K9 To bring us a very current EBM mix that will for sure make the rounds with DJs.  Roman Marisak from Professional Murder Music came back in to do an amazing remix with a trip hop twist. It was good to hook up with him again as he produced our first two albums.

Kevin Kipnis of Purr Machine returned with an awesome mix as usual. He has done previous remixes for us, and we are talking about doing some music together in the near future.

Dark Wave Industrial maniacs, Frontal Boundary took the song and really made it their own giving it a new life.

Our good friend and veteran Producer, Sean Dever of The Forge Recording Brought a slow, dark, industrial, dirge that will easily become a favorite to the genre.

We also decided to let our fans know where the original version of ego came from by releasing the original demo from 2000 As a bonus on this EP. This dark and gritty mono version is like a time machine to Skumlove’s History… their Legacy. This is a digital release that will be available anywhere you stream your favorite digital music. that will also be available to pre-order on iTunes HERE with the release to take place on April 30th 2024!

Theatrical emo rock group THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT today (April 19) share the first new music following their 2023 EP SOUNDS FROM BEYOND THE ABYSS (VOL. 1) via Better Noise Music. “You’re So Ugly When You Cry” features guest vocals from Bert McCracken of seminal emo rock outfit The Used who boast 2X RIAA Platinum certified releases (2002’s self-titled debut The Used and 2004’s In Love and Death), a RIAA Gold certification for 2007’s Lies For The Liars, and over 1.1 billion overall career streams. The song contrasts upbeat anthemic pop-punk melodies with lyrics about hitting rock bottom. “It’s not about healing, or the come-up later on, it's about telling people ‘it sucks right now, I don’t like who I am when I’m like this, and I know you’ve felt the same way,” according to THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT vocalist LEE JENNINGS.

Listen/download “You’re So Ugly When You Cry (feat. Bert McCracken of The Used)” now at https://thefuneralportrait.ffm.to/ysuwyc.

“Working with Bert was a lifelong dream come true for us,” exclaims JENNINGS. “We all grew up with The Used being one of our biggest influences and it was a surreal moment when he reached back out saying he loved the song and wanted to be involved.”

Bert McCracken of The Used)” which introduces the “Coffin Crew” (the band’s name for their devoted followers) and their movement. "We’ve been a band for some time and have been in bands since we were teenagers and we’ve seen our fair share of bands come and go. The theme of this song is about learning to stay true to yourself, all the while thinking how long someone can keep going before it’s no longer worthwhile."

LACUNA COIL are back with their new single:  “In The Mean Time” featuring Ash Costello of NEW YEARS DAY. The track was premiered exclusively on Sirius XM’s Liquid Metal. The song’s title is a reference to the mean times the world is living in, as well as a reference to the state the band itself is in, between cycles..

“’In The Mean Time’ is a reflection on how much our society has generally ‘lost the plot’. We are living in really mean times filled with unhappy people: lonely, anxious, depressed, destructive. The pressure that crushes from the outside doesn't allow to see things with the right clarity. This song is like group therapy: not a lamentation, but acceptance that once broken, it’s hard to put oneself back together again. We need to take our minds off all the inescapable toxicity and find that there’s so much more to this life… and know that in the meantime, everything cannot be aligned. We invited Ash Costello from New Years Day to feature on the track and we're thrilled she came on board adding exactly what we needed for this song with her warm voice and charisma”, the band says.

Ash Costello from NEW YEARS DAY further adds: “I am deeply honored to join LACUNA COIL on tour for the first time, to have the incredible opportunity to lend my guest vocals to a new track and appear in the music video. Working alongside the powerhouse vocalist Cristina has been a privilege, and I may be biased in saying that ‘In The Mean Time’ has quickly become my favorite by LACUNA COIL. Its message about embracing individuality and not conforming deeply resonates with me.”

While the song is already out on all digital platforms (https://lacunacoil.lnk.to/InTheMeanTime-Single) you can watch the accompanying video that was directed by Patric Ullaeus for rEvolver Film Company at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63z4mNFXJGY

Metal vampires SINSATION have a handful of releases with EP's, single's, and music videos! The band of vampires, goes into talks about their array of material, wanting to release more content, and dominionating the beyond!

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Hey! Thank you for this opportunity. Sinsation formed in 2019.We met at The Zombie Prom and started Sinsation. We were able to get our first single very quickly called Sleeping Death. It did really well and we got great traction. A few record deals and a ton of shows later we signed with Sodeh Records and released Up Until Now, Horns Up Fangs Out, I Am Man and now our latest single Sinsation Nation.Sinsation is Stacy McKiller, Sammy Fearce McPherson, Sado Rabaudi, Mike Fitzgerald and Billy Browne.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

It was the name of a song in Sammy's band The Dtease, so with their permission we used it because it fits our twisted vampire vision perfectly.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We are in Santa Barbara California but we play LA more than our hometown for sure. There are some incredible bands in our area, it’s really mind blowing. First off our label mates Suppressed Intentions. Living Darkness is inspiring and badass. Firing All Cylinders, Fused by Defiance, Hexenghul, Hexengarten, The Dtease, labelmates I Band and they aren't in our area but Die Tired are so killer too.

4. How would you describe your style?

We are vampires so it has a gothic flavor. High energy metal with rock hooks and soaring guitars. Also called Vampower Metal.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works? We have Sleeping

Beauty, Alligator, Psychosomatic, Cursed, Children of the Night. That was an EP under Kingside Records. Then we released Up Until Now, Horns Up Fangs Out, I Am Man, And our latest release on Sodeh Records Sinsation Nation. We have videos for all those songs on YouTube.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

We have a new song called Zombie Nightmare finished and video shoot is booked. It will be our most ambitious video to date filled with Zombies and Vampires.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

We are focusing on releasing Zombie Nightmare and Only the Strong Survive, but after that we will continue our bloodbath of vampire dominion in the cities of California and beyond.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

We plan to put a full length album on Sodeh Records, continue to up the ante on videos and make our live show an unstoppable force of vampiric doom.

Progressive symphonic black pop-core act ANA discusses the band's formation, recent music working's as far as single's, EP release, and wanting to focus on shows and touring! Just see what else was said from our discussion below!

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, did you plan it or it just came to be that way?

We knew we wanted something clean and simple. So we chose to use my name but spell it ANA. It was chosen also because Ana is a palindrome so it can be pronounced both forwards and backwards the same way. This ties into our logo the Ouroboros that signifies an unending cycle.

2. What genre do you play and why did you want to play this genre?

We describe our genre as Progressive Symphonic Black Pop-core. It represents the background and contribution that each member brings to the band.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed, give us a briefing on how the band came together?

Josh and I are married and have been working together making music for many years. When we decided to start a band we had a clear vision for the musicians we wanted to complete our family. So we went out to find the best of the best.

4. Who or what inspires you the most to write songs, what are they about topic wise?

My inspiration comes from my life experiences. It has been a long and arduous road for me to come from my tiny village to where I am now and I want to be able to share that story with people.

5. Can you tell me about your latest single for "Scars" both song and video, why pick this particular song?

Scars is about painful experiences in life and also about moving forward. The scars that remain remind us not to repeat those mistakes. The video was shot in black and white to represent the past.

6. That song comes off the EP "The Art of Letting Go", why go with an EP and not LP?

We chose to do an EP because we didn’t have a budget to be able to afford recording more songs. We also were keen to begin performing and decided to focus on our live shows first before recording a LP.

7. Three single's have come from this EP, will there be anymore released?

There won’t be anymore singles released from this EP. We may release a new single later in the year but our focus for now is on touring.

8. What are the plans from here towards the rest of this year?

We are booking more shows in regional towns in Australia and will begin to play more shows in cities in other states.

9. Would you like to say or add anything more?

While we have no plans to record new music at the moment we have already begun writing new material and one song has already been completed.

10. Is that your final answer?

We have only been on the scene for under 12 months and our first single is only 2 months old. Despite this we have been overwhelmed with how people from all over the world have embraced us and our music. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for joining us on our journey. Our wins are your wins. ❤️🙏🏻🤘🏻

SIX FEET UNDER today unveils their latest single, "Ascension." The annihilating new track comes by way of the band's upcoming fourteenth studio album, Killing For Revenge, set for release on May 10th through Metal Blade Records.

A gnarly beast of a record that's not for the faint-hearted, Killing For Revenge dishes up nightmare-inducing imagery courtesy of legendary frontman Chris Barnes via the vocalist's trademark guttural vocals. Both the album title and darkly detailed red-hued album cover by artist Vince Locke are perfect containers for the brutality within.

Check it HERE.

"Madmans Esprit is a study of misery, looking deep into oneself, which eventually shows the reflections of society and furthermore, human nature. Why do we have to despair? Because we hope. Why do we have to die? Because we are born. Madmans Esprit is a question to all answers.

Unlike the single’s title track 墜落 (chulag), which strongly represents the band’s depressive suicidal black metal roots, 蟻夢 (Euimong) is a power ballad influenced by other music genres.

The song’s title, 蟻夢 (Euimong), means “an ant’s dream”, an old Asian metaphor for a hollow, vain dream. While the song is a personal vanitas to me, I wanted the listeners and viewers to find themselves through my music. In the end, we are all on a long, slow pilgrimage towards extinction. These ideas are especially expressed in the music video. The animation depicts collapsing scenes of Seoul, the capital of South Korea. It is where I live and it is projected onto me. Then these thoughts and images will be reflected once more on the retina of the viewers, the idea is shared and the cycle of creation and inspiration is complete." - Kyuho (Madmans Espirit)

Metal Injection writes "If you're looking for a slow-burning, beautifully animated track that strides purposefully toward the darkness throughout its runtime, this is the one for you."

On May 17, 2024, horror punk metal act ZOMBEAST will return with its heaviest, darkest, and most frenzied material to date - their new album "Heart Of Darkness"! Slated for release via Massacre Records – licensed from Fiend Force Records – the album will be coming out as CD Digipak, Ltd. Vinyl LP and Digital formats, the pre-sale is available at: https://ffr.lnk.to/zombeastheartofdarkness

Now ZOMBEAST are presenting a music video for new album track "The Cycle"!

"This song lyrically focuses on lycanthropy and the frenzy that consumes. This is some of Mario Montechello’s most aggressive singing on the record. It’s the fastest song we’ve ever written and the double bass action of Kyle Smith during the pre-chorus just creates a massive wall of sound reminiscent of Metallica’s "Dyers Eve", says guitarist / bassist Jared Smith. "The dueling guitar breakdown was also written the night before the studio and I think we nailed it considering it was written in the 11th hour. The music on my end was heavily inspired by AFI’s "Black Sails In The Sunset"."

"The Cycle" is now available on all digital streaming services via https://ffr.lnk.to/zombeastthecyclesingle

Pearl Jam proudly present their latest single, “Wreckage”. The single comes in advance of their anxiously awaited twelfth studio album, Dark Matter, out now via Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records.

Stone Gossard on “Wreckage”: “That one probably has the biggest build for me personally, in terms of hearing it at first and thinking, it’s kind of an Ed song. I wasn’t quite aware of its potency until later. Andrew [Watt] encouraged me to play this little harmonic, acoustic part almost like a Cure melody. I’ve been playing along with the song to relearn it and I’m really looking forward to playing it live. It’s a really powerful lyric and I think we did a really great job of taking something and really pushing it to its limit.”

Andrew Watt adds: “[“Wreckage”] started with the riff and everyone kind of formulating sections together. That song just came to Ed right away. Within the first couple takes before the music was even right, his vocals were right. His melodies and words are so strong in that song. Once the initial spark was there and there were a few sections, it was just really about following him.”

The weather may be warming up for spring, but there's a bitter frost hanging in the air, courtesy of the death metal crew known as Frozen Soul.

The band has shared their cover of White Zombie's "Creature of the Wheel."  The visual certainly pays homage to the instantly familiar, DayGlo green aesthetic of White Zombie, while the band puts its uniquely shivery spin on the sonics.

"We wanted to cover a song outside of death metal that we could give justice to in our style and 'Creature of the Wheel' felt perfect," the band says. "We slowed it down and made it even heavier, all the while staying true to the groove White Zombie is known for. We got outside of our comfort zone and even used a theremin to add that old school horror feel!"

The truth is out there! Conspiracy theories are a dime a dozen these days, but one of the most shocking and intriguing in years is one posed by the popular podcast "Your Mom's House," who've asked the real important question: Is Garth Brooks a serial killer? Well, Louisville truth seekers and thrash metalheads BELUSHI SPEED BALL have chosen to immortalize the theory on their latest single "Garth, Let My Family Go," which begs for closure and information on where the bodies are buried.

Commenting on the track, lead vocalist Vinny Crastellano says:

"Garth, we are begging you please, just give us closure. Where are the bodies Garth, WHERE ARE THE BODIES!? We know you are sitting there thinking to yourself, "Somebody stop me". But no one has been able to. Please for the love of god!"

Crastellano adds about the video:

"The Garth segment of "Your Mom's House" is one of our favorite bits ever. We wanted to pay homage to the genius prophecy, in the only way we know how... with satire. Allegedly, in a remote area, an area most known for its remoteness, sit's Garth with cheese sandwiches, thinking to himself, "somebody stop me! We proudly present all of this alleged glory captured in an 8-bit music video."

From the band that brought you "My Favorite Color Is Pizza," a blistering love song about spicy pie, and "This Is The Peak," a raging track dedicated to an infamous bald headed critic, comes the latest metal masterpiece "Garth, Let My Family Go." Showing off their versatile abilities to hop between genres Beyond Unbroken have released their latest single, "My Life" a pop-punk anthem of new hope and moving forward.

"My Life" flips a complete 180 degrees emerging out of the darkness from "The Madness." Beyond Unbroken combines infectious melodies, heavy rhythms, and thought-provoking lyrics to create a powerful anthem exploring the nuances of the human condition. Their latest single captures a message of hope and renewal through energetic guitars, pulsating synthesizers, and driving rhythms, the track invites listeners on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. In their own words, "My life is about living in the present and embracing life as it is, learning to let go in order to move forward instead of holding onto all our grudges. Time is precious, and "life could be better" "if I stop to see" and realize that these are moments we should all cherish. We want listeners to come away with a positive outlook on their own lives, realizing that all time is precious. If we stopped to consider this, we might see that our lives could be better by seizing the moments we have and simply being in the present."

In a world of boundaries Beyond Unbroken refuses to be defined by one genre. Founded by former Escape The Fate members, brothers Monte and Michael Money, the band habitually crosses the lines, mixing genres the way an artist mixes paint with results that often defy expectation.
