Judas Priest Co-headlines with Alice Cooper to Bring the Theatrics and Lights to Life in LA!

It was announced not that long ago, that Judas Priest and Alice Cooper would co-headline on a fall tour, alongside Corrosion of Conformity. And that said tour, would commence in the fall between September and October, making a stop in Los Angeles, California at the Kia Forum.

This show would be close to selling out but not quite, but that didn't dismay those from attending. The crowd were filled with numerous fans, young and old, and after arriving close to 7PM, the show would begin with stoner, metal act Corrosion of Conformity, whose sound brought to mind that of the "Seattle sound", sounding slightly similar to that of Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains, their energy was very much like those acts, except had more of a mellower feel, with some heavy moments during their set, that made the crowd pleased. They are an act, that has been around for quite sometime, and tonight's performance was done quite well, and they kept their performance rather entertaining.

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY:

Up next would be Alice Cooper, the co-headliner to the main headliners of the evening, and his presents was total theatrical, lots of lighting affects, stage props, it all worked so well in his element. A lot of the songs he sung, had him perform not just as a vocalist, but as an entertainer of sorts, due to his funny antics, costume changes, and characteristics that made his flare stand out. Even the band members partook in bloodying themselves up, performing quite well indeed. Each of the guitarists did a splendid job, while the bassist chimed in on their part, with the drummer bringing it altogether, everyone there just sounded so good, it made it all work out pretty much. When it comes to Alice's stage shows he has a lot of creativity within himself and his music, you get a show you won't forget.

ALICE COOPER:

Ending out the night would be heavy metal go getters Judas Priest, who have been at it for the past 56 years! Tonight being no different, a lot of the band's songs coming off their "Painkiller" release, with other tracks thrown in, their performance featured lots of lights, some props, and screen affects, that had it blend well together. The music with fierce and catchy vocals at times, changing out and in, made the material easy going. The band and vocalist made everyone there really excited, and giving it their all with support as fans, and the band themselves, everyone seemed to be having fun.

JUDAS PRIEST:

Overall it felt like a solid tour, with a line-up to back it up, very energetic, entertaining and downright fun, that all there had a good old time, with the music, because music and metal especially is family.
