For years now, various flea markets or in other term's known as a swap meet, have taken place all over the place. They have even been versions revolving around certain holidays celebration of Christmas with visits from Santa Claus and then Easter with the Easter bunny. Some would get into the spooky sense handing out candy for Halloween time as well. But there would be some organizations banning together to create smaller market based events revolving around selling foods, goods, and services around all things spooky and scary for the holiday Halloween. Having such as "Creep It OC", "Ghoul's Day Out", and then there would be the "Spooky Swap Meet" with it's fifth year running in 2025!
Being held at the Heritage Square Museum in Los Angeles County, every spring around April, it’s a museum where various Victorian houses would be homed, and opened for visitors to explore, performers to put on mini skits, hand out candy, vendors to sell products from appeal, props, toys, decor and even food. Some houses being mini mazes of sorts with scare actors. Having gotten the chance to explore this event in it’s fourth year in 2024, and in 2025, both time’s were much alike. Featuring similar vendors and experiences, this year had a scavenger hunt, trick or treating, and a magic show! A duo performance was done inside one of the houses, which had coloring activities and games. One side of the event featured nothing but food vendors with spooky offering’s.

The walk throughout didn’t take that long, perhaps 2 hours at the most to really take in everything and check it all out. Grabbing a few items from some of the booths, exploring the houses, and seeing the sights, snapping some photos too, it was a very yet scary good time!
