IIII Releases New Album

 

Chilean Doom Metal/Post-Hardcore band IIII released their new album "Nueva Desesperanza". The release was recorded, mixed and produced by Juan Pablo Cañolés at "Plex Studios", co-produced by Felipe Arenas (Entrefuegos) and assisted by Joseph Araya.

IIII (Cuatro) was formed in late 2014 in Santiago, Chile, by José Ignacio Mercado as a noise, free-rock, and ambient improvisation project. After a 2020 revival, the band transitioned into a post-doom quartet with hardcore influences. The lineup features Pedro Romero (guitar), Fernando Molina (drums), Christian Spencer (vocals/bass), and Mercado (guitar), all seasoned musicians from Chile’s post-metal, punk, and free jazz scenes.
