Haley Graves Says Much About EP, Festivals, and More!

Pop punk artist HALEY GRAVES has her debut EP out titled "She Thinks My Pop Punk Is Cringey", with a lot more newer music in the works! Some shows are also in the works, festivals, and other shows including radio shows! A full-length album is expected come the future, with more features as well. Find out what Haley herself says about all of this and more below.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members

I'm a solo artist named Haley Graves. I'm originally from Maine but moved to Seattle two years ago for college at Cornish College of The Arts. I've been playing guitar for 10 years, performing for 5 years, and been writing my own music for 2 years and took it seriously a year ago.

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

It's just my name

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

I'm based out of Seattle, WA. There's a huge push for underground music. It's very cool to not be into mainstream music out here. I highly recommend College Radio, King Youngblood and The Black Tones.

4. How would you describe your style?

Pop Punk.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

I have released one EP called "She Thinks My Pop Punk Is Cringey." Expect a lot of guitar, a lot of power chords and Jazz Harmony.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Yes I do have a bunch of new music in the works but a lot of it won't be released until next year!

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

Currently I'm planning to play Bazooka Festival next week, I'm playing two Pride Events a few days later, The High Dive in Fremont and I'm working on booking a house show. I'm aiming to do some radio shows as well.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

I definitely want to release a full length album with a few features.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

On every streaming service. Still working on merch.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

I want people to feel empowered! I want people to feel good about themselves and feel like they can let out any emotion they want without shame!
