Good Times & Company says Lots About New Music and Much Happening with Them!

Alternative indie rockers GOOD TIMES & COMPANY have been hard at work upon their all new album titled "Cosmonaut", expected this spring time! But before that happens, they do have other releases of content, that is widely available and superb in quality and sound! Discover what the band had to say about everything below!

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

I (Clint Kesinger-Vocals/Guitar) started an acoustic project called "Good Times" in 2013 after several years of extensive gigging and touring in America’s heavy metal scene. After 2 EP's and some touring as a solo act, I decided to take it up and notch and added long time friend Shad Baldes on bass and mutual friend Kyle Wells on drums. After 2 EP's under the name "Good Times & Company", we added Keagan Cross on guitar as the final member. We released "Midwest Sun" in May of 2018 as a four piece, went on tour and continued with the momentum we had been sustaining since we began. Now we are the verge of releasing a brand-new album with an entirely new and unique sound. The new album is called "Cosmonaut".

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

Essentially its just a play off my original solo project "Good Times". We added members, so it changed to "Good Times & Company". Which is a descriptor of what you can expect at one of our shows!

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We are based out of Springfield, IL. The scene has had a recent resurgence and its very inspiring to see. Lots of talented original rock bands are coming together here. Springfield has a history of producing some solid bands that make waves. We have some awesome festivals every summer and the whole city is into it and super supportive. There are also some great new live venues that are beginning to host national touring packages, which is always a good thing! Local bands I’d recommend would be The Dixie Narcos, Feel, Wayward Motel, and solo act Devin Williams. All worth a listen!

4. How would you describe your style?

Alternative Indie Rock. Certainly, our sound is unique to us and we thrive on that. Its catchy but dark, honest and driving. Precisely crafted, loosely delivered. You’ll have to listen and decide for yourself!

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

"Different Things" – 2016
"All American Grinder"- 2017
"Midwest Sun"- 2018

Listening to these 23 songs start to finish honestly depicts our journey. You can clearly see how we have changed and adapted our song writing to get where we are now. Expect an interesting, catchy soundscape that can sweep you away. Difficult to compare to any other band and laced with abstract lyricism and dark themes, all the while leaving catchy melodies in your head for safe keeping.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

YES! We finished tracking our new album "Cosmonaut" in January and expect to be releasing some fun new stuff early spring 2019! This new album is our greatest, most well put together effort to date. You’re gonna want to hear this!

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

We actually are in the process of finding a new suitable drummer. Our drummer, Kyle, stepped down for mutual reasons and as such we don’t have much booked for touring yet. However, we have some very talented candidates and we are planning on playing some lovely big festivals this summer, so an exciting summer lay head!

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Adding a new drummer and continue putting out our brand of rock music. We have achieved the goal of making something sound unique to us, now we will be pushing that sound all over the world online and putting on electrifying live shows. We will return to the stage as a new experience, complete with visuals and new sounds! We would also LOVE to go visit our fans in the UK and Australia! We have had countless fans reach out asking us to come play, so that’s a goal of ours in the future as well!

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?
