Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows - D.R.U.G.S.

Whether you love him or hate him there is no telling as to where you will find him. Craig Owens has been making quite the buzz for himself since the cut from Chiodos and now focusing on his brand new project he always involved in some various project to pass his time. So now this new direction is the most reasonable one.

When it comes to Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows, Owens really sets his mind on this outlet and it alone, his band's debut release "D.R.U.G.S." really takes control possessing a creative edge that slaps you right in the face. After recruiting his friends (Matt Good, Aaron Stern, Nick Martin, and Adam Russell) to round off band and enlisting John Feldmann to run the boards. This album is filled with top notch aggression, opener “If You Think This Song Is About You, It Probably Is”, is chorus protected with such rapid energy the guitar motive used is just flawless energy whilst Owens' dynamic screams never seems to quit.

"Graveyard Dancing", portrays a darker stance blending the era of Tim Burton meets pop/rock aggression really makes you think twice after listening to it. Whereas "Mr. Own Ate My Metal Worm", features a bridge like no tomorrow while 'I'm Here To Take The Sky", recaptures one of Owens' other projects Cinematic Sunrise. But that possessive edge presented beforehand is still present on “The Only Thing You Talk About” (once known as Thermacare) this tune has guitar riffs that constantly shred continuing right into its notorious breakdowns that fade to rest.

When it's all said and done Owens' lyrical context is clearly written out featuring efforts he's showcased before and will continue to express.
