Nostalghia Releases New Song and Video for "Kingdom of Disturb"

Nostalghia has released a new song made video called "Kingdom of Disturb". Check it right HERE.

Bongo Boy Rock n Roll TV Show Episode 12 Season 7 "Vibes Of Light"

Bongo Boy TV's next episode from season 7 is episode 12 titled "Vibes Of Light". Having been produced by Monique Grimme and Gar Francis at Bongo Boy TV is a music video television show, that has been broadcasted on 66+ terrestrial TV channels in the U.S.A.

With that said, Frank Trousdell's track "The Long Road Home", kicks things off. His styling being a mix between rock and country, the two working rather nicely together. His vocal chords being fresh yet clear, as the video depicts his daily life as being what else a musician. The song itself plays out to be catchy yet laid back in tune. It’s one song you can enjoy just sitting back on a quiet evening, enjoying the soft yet easy going melodies with catching vocal chords, that it comes together nicely.

Angeles’ comes up next with a track titled "God, Country, and King", when placing this particular track and accompanying artist it was hard to do so. The visuals for the video were an added bit of flare, with the track being average yet heavy at times. Think heavy metal and rock n' roll you get a blend of genres that is very gripping yet still fun to hear from start to finish. Vocalization provided is done willingly that it makes them sound binding yet free at the same time. Angeles' style is interesting and can be heard with style of stride.

My Demons Galore follows with their song called "Carry Your Own Light", which immediately brings to mind power metal if not heavy metal elements. They got this edge to their styling, it has spunk, power, and just lots of aggression thrown together. If Bullet for my Valentine crossed paths with these guys then it would be no wonder they sound very similar at times. It's again a song and video choice that is very melodic yet heavy as well, keeping all in tune but still enjoyable to bear with one's ears.

Now then here is an act with a very different source of style. Nuke The Soup's "Network", sounds as if it came from the 70's or early 80's time frame eras. Think slightly like Depeche Mode with Tears for Fears musically, that is now this act sounds at times at least. The song has this creepy yet bouncy effect to it, combining rock for all it is worth. It’s one that would be played on repeat for countless times.

The Vice Rags' "Jersey Boy", is clearly rock with some format of punk or pop. It's a hit or miss really but still a nice putting for the song and accompanying band in question. Think if it as if it played in a time once in the past era, you blaring it on the radio at home or in car, that is how this act does their style of sound. Very crude yet entertaining you just cannot get enough of it!

"What's It Gonna Take?" by Spin is a one off band, whose sound blends pop instantly creating this music source that draws attention. It is upbeat, catchy, and very pleasing to the ears. One that will find it just flawless. Truly just a track of its own accordance, that you will find humming soon after hearing it.

BLXPLTN's "No English", is hard rock but enlightened. Lots of energy provided for sure throughout, getting that angst pumping with plenty to spare. With an act like this one they just become one that is very outgoing, keeping their style of music on the lowdown but still hyperactive too.

Lounge Zotica 3000 wraps up the episode with "Martian 9", a single release that showcases instrumental content on a level of unknowing what to even say about it. The track is a brief preview stunt, that captures your interest, as to what the single will go upon release. But first glance it may be a keeper after all perhaps.

Overall Bongo Boy TV’s episode 12 “Vibes Of Light”, is a round up of artists and bands that have material, suited for themselves, and for others to experience. It has lots of upbeat nonsense with catchy drawbacks that keeps the entertainer witnessing such works, curious yet interested.

Aktarum Chats of Album Debut!

Troll metalheads AKTARUM released their debut EP "Gane of Trolls" sometime ago but now have their debut full-length album "Ragnatroll" coming soon. In fact, the band goes into chats about said release and what their future holds for them!

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

Aktarum was created back in 2005 by Trollour (Keyboard/vocals) and Trollaklass (Guitars).
Aktarum was created around 2005 near Brussels in Belgium. Trollour (Keaboard/lead vocals) and Trollaklass (Guitars) came from black metal and Thrash metal bands. They wanted to create something new in the neighborhood. Back in those days in Belgium, there wasn't any folk metal bands and they wanted to change that. I think Finntroll and Moonsorrow were really like revelations to them. So they did everything to put that kinda band in the place. And really fast they opened for Ensiferum and other huge bands. The audience really followed the band across the country and the band grew quickly a European fan base

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

The origin of the band's name is totally explained in the new album. I won't tell the twist of the story. You'll find out by yourself. :)

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

We're from a little town near Brussels in Belgium. The local scene in Belgium is really huge. You have gigs every weekend everywhere in the country. A lot of people work their asses off to give metal show almost everyday. I could recommend a lot of bands. Here are a few that I like. Lemuria, Cocyte, Cryptogenic, Ithilien (not that local though), Ethernity, Exuviated, Annwyn,... There are so many bands and almost every band worth's the trip so.

4. How would you describe your style?

We play Troll Metal. The main idea was to play folk metal with a unique touch. Trollour and Trolaklass dug way too much everything related to trolls so they wanted to add the "Troll" idea behind the folk metal they wanted to play. So everything is about Trolls. The music combines heavy loud riffing with epic melodies. Telling tales of battles, parties of the village of Aktarum.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

The band released the first album "Gang of Trolls" in 2010.The line-up changed a lot. So it took time to find the perfect match and work on new songs. In 2014 the band released the "Game of Troll" EP and toured in Belgium, France, Germany,... We found the perfect missing bass player in 2016 and we worked for 2 years on the new album "Ragnatroll" which will be out in the 8th of December.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

Yes we're about to unleash our bran new record "Ragnatroll" in early December. We are super excited to release it. We worked for 2 years so we can't wait to play it live.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

Yes, we'll be playing some cool shows in Belgium and we're looking right now to book a lot of shows in France, Germany, The Netherlands,...The making of the album took a really long time so now we can settle down and work on the promotion. So everything will be planned soon.

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Touring across Europe. Show the rest of the world our last album. Make a music video and spreading the message of the trolls of Aktarum. And then work on the next album.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

Go on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/aktarum/?ref=br_rs or visit our website http://www.aktarum.com/. You'll have everything you need. And we are on Deezer and Spotify. Aktarum's music is just one click away from you.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

We want them to enjoy themselves as much as we do. We play music to share with the audience our way of having fun and partying. So we when people hear our music we want them to feel like "Yeah I have to see them live coz I'll bet we're gonna have fun".

Red Legs' Discusses Latest Album and Plans at Hand

Pop, rock, alternative gents Red Legs, have two full-length's under their belts one being the debut release "Influencer" and the follow-up release "Animal Bones". This current release being the main focus at this time, with other plans in the works as we speak! Speaking of which, the band goes into discussion about this album and other topics at range.

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

We all came together from different corners of Michigan. The rest is history (which we’re still writing — stay tuned).

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

"Red Legs" otherwise known as "Jayhawkers" were spies against the Confederates in the the mid 1800's. They practiced some guerrilla warfare against pro-slavery groups.

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

The band is based mostly out of Ionia, Michigan, but David is from Holland, MI originally, and Jaysyn is from Detroit.

Talk Radio, The Autumnatic, Boy From School, and Secret Forte; really, the West Michigan scene is stellar all around.

4. How would you describe your style?

We play American rock and roll.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

We just dropped our new album "Animal Bones" in September. We actually fully crowdfunded it and we couldn’t be more proud about it. Every song is emotional driven with subtle but poignant blues elements. Have a listen, we’d love to know what you think.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

We always find ourselves writing, but are trying to focus on “Animal Bones” as best we can.

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

We have a show at The Stache in Grand Rapids, MI this December, It’s a charity event which is the brainchild of Logan to help homeless families in the local area find housing. We have a few things planned for late winter/early spring as well, You can find more info for donations/tickets to the charity show at sectionlive.com!

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

Play as many shows as we can.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

https://www.youtube.com/c/redlegs
https://www.wehaveredlegs.com

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

That each song comes from somewhere very personal, and we mean every word.

Bear Witness Talks of Recent Works, New Music, and a Bit About Themselves

Alternative rockers Bear Witness, from the U.K. have released their most EP release titled "Dreams of Fame", with more music on the way! The band sat down to talk about this EP, new music, and themselves too!

1. Please tell us about the history of your band and its members.

The band was started in 2014 when me and Matt decided that we felt there was a lack of amazing rock bands around. We wanted to write music that was a mix of all our influences. We have always written music together and have been in many bands since we were young. The previous band we were a part of was falling apart for a number of reasons and forming Bear Witness was the natural progression to keep writing music. We had a hiatus due to university commitments in 2016, but following the addition of bassist Liam Mead in late 2018, we returned with our debut EP "Dreams of Fame".

2. What’s the origin of the band’s name?

Long time ago me and my brother Matt here, was hitchhikin' down a long and lonesome road. All of a sudden, there shined a shiny bear. In the middle of the road. And he said: "Name your band Bear Witness."  Well me and Matt, we looked at each other, and we each said. "Okay."

3. Where is the band based out of and what is your music scene like there? Are there any local bands you could recommend?

Two thirds of the band are from Worcester and to be honest the music scene around Worcester is pretty terrible, there's almost no venues around and there's not much going on full stop let alone anything music wise.

4. How would you describe your style?

I would describe our music as melodic chaos. We tend to have big melodic choruses mixed in with heavy riff oriented guitars. I think our style is definitely a blend of our musical influences, we love gritty rock songs with monstrous rhythms but on the other hand we also really enjoy well crafted melodies such as artists like Twenty One Pilots and Michael Jackson. I like to think the bands soul comes from Jeff Goldblums jazz piano playing haha.

5. What have you released so far and what can someone expect from your works?

Our latest EP was called "Dreams of Fame" and was released in February of this year. The main reason I would give for giving it a listen is that we work as hard as possible to ensure that the songs themselves are good. So whatever genre you're into, if you listen to it you will hopefully get some enjoyment out of it. One of the things we agree upon as a band is that we love artists that have a really varied catalog of songs and so we definitely try to keep each song different, almost like each song has its own personality.

6. Do you have any new music in the works?

We do indeed. We've been working pretty hard on a new EP that should come out at some point next year. All of the recording is done, the only thing left is the mixing and mastering it just needs a bit of that special polish that songs need to go from sounding good to amazing! We have also just announced the lead single for the EP, its called "Perfect Living" and is being released on the 18/01/2019 and man does it sound incredible!

7. How about playing shows and touring, have anything planned out?

We are planning on doing a release show when we release our 2nd EP, but at the moment we are just working to make the EP sound as good as it possibly can!

8. What plans do you have for the future as a band?

We're releasing our new single "Perfect Living" on the 18th of January next year. We're really excited about its release and the music video we've made for it is insane! Following that we'll be releasing a few more singles throughout the year and then an EP in the summer. But to be honest other than that we don't have too much of a plan, we just want to release great music and hope some people can identify with it and like what we're making. Then if at some point we could play in front a huge crowd that would be pretty awesome.

9. Where can we listen to your band and where can we buy your stuff?

Our "Dreams of Fame" EP and singles are available pretty much everywhere including Spotify and iTunes. As for merchandise you can buy, you can go to our bandcamp page where we have t-shirts and posters available. I suggest people go and check out the poster we got done, we know an absolutely awesome artist who does all of our stuff and the poster is just insane! Here's the link: https://bearwitnessband.bandcamp.com/merch/limited-edition-bear-witness-neon-solace-poster.

10. What is it you’d like a listener to remember the most when hearing your music for the first time?

One of the main things I'd love for them to think when hearing it is just the way some of my favorite bands have made me feel on the first listen. You come away from it thinking how cool and different the band are and wonder how you've never heard of them before. Whenever I hear a band that I really like for the first time there's almost this excitement that I get to go and listen to their other material. Basically I'd like people to want to listen to more than just one song and come back for more.

Doug Ferony – Sings Italian Favorites

Doug Ferony, it's no wonder, this latest album of his titled "Sings Italian Favorites", recommends such greats as Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, among others. Doug does those gents gladly, that even they would approve with flying colors. Thus, with that, Doug's album "Sings Italian Favorites", is shall you say, a cover song of selections, of according to Doug, an album of salute to the American and Italian singers of our time. Hence the Dean and Frank comparison right away. If you have no clue as to whom those artists are, they were highly popular years back, and can have references thrown in today's modern society entertainment i.e. Family Guy, among with others too.

When jumping right into this album though, you have some things to consider, not just it being a full band performance, but having the addition of a full orchestra, with string sections and some ensembles on some tracks. Others adding int he likes of the mandolin and guitar, adding in some flare of the Italian style. Vocals are even backed up on some of these assorted tracks, each just being more favoring than it's last. Probably some of the more catchier tracks would likely be such as "Ain't That a Kick in the Head", "Come Prima", "That's Amore", "Mona Lisa", "Non Dimenticar", and "Innamorata", to name a few.

Each of these, just being very captivating yet stunning at times, hearing such a resemblance it is uncanny even. The way Doug’s voice soars across the instrumentals is just flawless energy with such hype and angst, it makes the material break out that it stands out more so than it should. Upon listening to these tracks, and the rest off this album, you just feel this eeriness at times. It’s creepy but cool as well, how the music works in so many ways, it becomes comforting that it is so easy listening of an experience, you find yourself wanting more and more.

Doug Ferony’s “Sings Italian Favorites”, is perhaps probably one of the more greater cover song type of releases, let alone albums that has such grounding, it will be treasured for all time. If not that, then for sure then remembered countless times over, because Doug has a voice, with a band to follow him, continuing to create content both for the old and new crowds to endure.

Tiyon Christian Discusses Holiday Single and How He Spends the Holidays!

R&B, soul, pop artist TC or Tiyon Christian, has gotten into the holiday spirit with releasing what else, a holiday track titled "Mine" this coming Thanksgiving holiday, to get all into the spirit of all holidays! Tiyon Christian goes into discussion about this holiday single, and just what else he has done for the rest of the holidays, upcoming and the most recent ones too!

1. So when did the idea for doing a holiday Christmas song come to be?

I personally love the holidays and holiday music. This is not my first holiday project. I released a Christmas EP in 2015, "3 Kings". This year I’m working with a new team. Collectively, we all agreed that starting with a holiday song would be a great launching pad for all the new music I’ll be releasing in 2019.

2. Now tell me about this particular track, it isn't your average cover song track correct? It is purely all original content titled "Mine"?

"Mine", is 100% original. I collaborated with a great friend, Johnny Thomas Jr, a gifted producer.  I expressed to him the direction I wanted to take the song. Also, that I was not looking to do a tradition sounding Christmas song. I guess we accomplished the goal or you would not of asked the question! LOL. The song can be played all year round. The Vibe is more up to date then most Holiday songs. It has a sensual feel while at the same time brings across a feel good, old fashion holiday message.

3. If you did have the option to do a cover out of the array of Christmas tracks available, which would you pick and how would you put a twist on it?

My all-time favorite Christmas song is ironically, "The Christmas Song".  IN MY OPINION, it’s one of the best Christmas compositions in terms of lyrics & melody. I'm a big fan of vocals, so my twist would be an acapella version with harmonies galore... It would be magical!!!!!

4. Will "Mine", be receiving an accompanying music video or just remain a standalone single?

My team and I are working hard to complete all the elements of the marketing plan for this single.  We know how important visuals are in today’s world of marketing music. "The art of music MOST be attached to strategic imagery".

5. For this one, you went on to create not just an English version of the holiday single but a Spanish version as well?

I constantly challenge myself and wanted to do a Latin record for a while. The movie, "Salena", was one of my all-time favorites. I was also very inspired by my recent trip to Santo Domingo. The music there just caught me.

I was honestly very nervous before the recording session. The process of singing and recording in Spanish defiantly took me out of my comfort zone. Its important to me that I continue to expand my gift worldwide. Not just the U.S. Market and not just my culture.

TC| Tiyon Christian is a world-wide brand and I’m a worldwide artist with an amazing team who developed a unique and aggressive marketing plan for 2019.

6. Whilst this track revolves around Christmas time, why release it on Thanksgiving?

If you're a holiday lover like me, you start playing holiday music on Thanksgiving. Also, I want to give my fans my art to play the entire holiday season.

7. Speaking of the holiday season, what were your plans for this year's past Halloween?

I was in LA working with Rodney Jerkins on new music while everyone was attending Halloween parties. I Live by; "Work First, Party Second with a PURPOSE".

8. What are in the works for Thanksgiving? Who are you thankful for and why?

This holiday I’m playing things by ear. My family would like me home. However, I’m in Florida with my team working hard on the 2019 marketing plan and finishing up the content and music required to support the annual roll out. I'm just thankful to God for letting me see another day & blessed to be surrounded by great people to go through my life’s journey with. I could never ask for more.

9. When it comes to the fest of Thanksgiving Dinner and desserts, which is your favorite?

OH MY GOSH! Do I have to pick? I absolutely love stuffing, mac&cheese, greens, chess pie. There’s so much to choose from. I'm honestly a fat kid at heart!

10. How about Christmas and all the other rotating holidays, have anything special you want for Christmas this year?

I wish for nothing other than to enjoy the holiday with my family and friends.

11. Which holidays do you celebrate that you would like to share with us?

Even though I'm single, I do love Valentine's Day.

12. Does New Year’s Eve and Day have anything lined-up?

I’m working so hard preparing for what’s to come in 2019 that I have not given it any thought. But I have an amazing group of friends and I'm sure they will be dragging me out somewhere.  HAPPY NEW YEARRRRRR!

13. If you had the chance to, would you ever create a song for every single holiday throughout every year, i.e. Easter, Halloween, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, etc.

I think that may be a little excessive. But if I feel it or if there is a great need and cause... Game on!

14. What other sort of plans does TC|Tiyon Christian have in mind between now into 2019?

I'm so focused on my music. I've put my own artistry on the back burner for the past 8 years writing for so many amazing artists. It’s My Time Now! 2019 I’ll be delivering a new single every month for the next 12 months. Get READY! It’s going to be epic!

16. Tiyon Mack or Tiyon Christian?

Tiyon Christian is my artist name (My first and middle name)

Tiyon "TC" Mack, is my brand as a song writer.

15. Would you like to add or say anything more as we wrap this up!

Thank you so much for the interview. I look forward to speaking with your fan base again in 2019 as I release the singles.

I hope everyone enjoys “Mine" & “Mia” and shares in the infectious holiday vibe I created for everyone to enjoy.

Have a blessed holiday!

Forest Robots – Timberline and Mountain Crest

Forest Robots' most recent single "Through The Trees Ad Into Wide Open Landscapes", came from the album "Timberline and Mountain Crest". Upon it's release, the single was unlike any other style of music in and around popularity standards. This style of music was a combination of music genres actually, take electronic, ambient, R&B and orchestral. Not like orchestration as in a movie score but in similar tones. A lot of the tracks off this album, including this single is very much so instrumentally based content. It's like techno crossed with orchestra, that your imagination is put to full effectiveness as the music plays, everything aligns itself. In other words, the music sounds futuristic almost. Not really a style of choice for a club per say, but music to the comforting ears of a confined space perhaps.

A lot of the tracks, out of the 10 included on this album, are very different surprisingly enough. The single is very unique, whilst other tracks like "Sudden Bioluminescence", "Between The Orange And Purple Horizon", "On A Desolate Shore Under A Full Moon", and "When Forest Leaves egin To Change", are very much similar but still different in their own ways. Each of which, has this styling that sounds gloomy yet eerie as well, capturing this essence of forbidden. Or even maybe pop mixed with electronic to another level altogether. It is quite hard to place these tracks at times. But all in all though, together these array of tracks, just has a twisting feature that allows for the music to just be entrancing as a whole.

When it comes down to it, Forest Robot’s album “Timberline and Mountain Crest”, with it’s assortment of tunes, makes it be one of those albums you will not forget but adore. It’s uniqueness in music, will not just comfort you, but put you at ease with oneself and all else around you. Leaving you be breathless yet timid.

Maniacal – Life Is A Dark Chain Of Events

From the depths of down under, literally South Australians Maniacal is a five piece metal band whose combination of blending together groove, thrash, and death metal into one uniqueness, has them spanning works across two releases. Their debut album "Buried In Hell" saw release in early 2010, with a sophomore follow-up album titled "Life Is A Dark Chain Of Events", out this holiday season that is 2018.

Upon listening, the extensive 11-track set up, brings to mind immediately such acts as Warbringer crossed with Sodom at times. With such tracks as "Kill Me", "Drive My Madness", "Woe To The Fallen", and "Buried In Hell".

Within these selected tracks, comes a rawness that makes the material blend well together. Think of the music as being fast yet slow at the same time. You get this appeal of it being “just right”, that you find heaviness in it, that makes it very appealing across the track listing. Each of these tracks, along with the entirety of the album as a whole, keep that intensity and raw pride pumped upward, as the guitar tactics showcase power and spunk, whereas the bass line and vocalization with drum lines, keeps it all in check, allowing for the material to build up, while layering itself outward. Creating this never ending aspect that keeps it continually fresh yet still intense and fun. In other words, the material is just downright entertaining, that the combination of metal genres used is creative in itself, because Maniacal is very original like that.

As “Life Is A Dark Chain Of Events”, see’s its end, the album does wrap up to being an album that can be spun multiple times without disappointment. An act like Maniacal is one that will raise up and grow, with two releases thus far into their career, more content will follow suite, surely exposing them with shows and more content that will cause more to know their namesake.

Brooke Josephson – Mr. Fix It Remix

Brooke Josephson, a singer/songwriter now based in Los Angeles, California, has been on the rise as of late, her charismatic lyricism and melodies of infectious spreading rapidly out of control! That said, her most recent release an EP titled "Sexy N Domesticated", had a song off it called "Mr. Fix It", which she has made into a single, but remixed it by the help of producer Rocky G.

The track has had it's music video counter part released already, with the official single seeing release soon enough. While the music video has been making rounds, word of it, have been nothing but positive from fans and online folk alike. Most mentioning how they cannot wait for the release of the track, to the video being nice! The actual song is a mix bag of sorts, think of an 80’s song dancing with a 90’s song, that is what you get with this remixed take.

The video features Brooke with some dancers, and a DJ intertwining between sequences, while other occurrences take place. Ranging from colorful effects, of lights, sounds, melodies, to all sorts of odds and ends taking place, you get a feel of it immediately. It’s no wonder producer Rocky G thought up such a remix, because its crazy that it is good. Surely to be one of those tracks put on repeat at all costs, if not played at the club scene of choice. Thus, the track begins to play off as one that is very fun with lots of entertainment to back it up. Brooke Josephson has got traits that show power and creativity if that says anything.

For the most part, producer Rocky G and Brooke do make an outgoing duo, that will likely have more remixes of tracks, spinning forth in no time flat. If not then perhaps only sometimes but either which, “Mr. Fix It”, plays to be a keeper.

Éowyn's Discussion is to Just Believe and Be Drenched in the Present, Truth and Love!

Christian alternative rock artist Éowyn, has been at it for close to 20 years now, releasing what is her sixth full-length album titled "Just Believe". This time around, see's the album come following the release of her back to back albums "Beautiful Ashes" and "Silent Screams", released sometime ago. One of which seeing a tenth anniversary celebration of sorts, Éowyn plans to do in the comfort of her home. But besides that, she has also many plans to come from this album "Just Believe". releasing a single from it called "Drenched", with more to follow. Along with adding to her bible study release "For The Life Of Me", having a "mini" bible study of videos for this album's content of sources. Much more will come in time, just need to be set up with the proper planning and timing of everything else. Éowyn herself goes into discussion about this album, single, and everything else thrown in-between of course!

1. Back in 2010 then that following year in 2011, were the first and second times, interviewing Eowyn, so what have you been up to since those times way back when?

Gosh, has it really been that long!? A ton really! I went back to school and got a second degree, I worked at a commercial architecture firm as an interior designer, My husband and I moved from Nashville to the DC area. I currently work as a graphic designer at my church, Expectation Church, and sing on the worship team there. Musically I wrote and released a bible study and new song called For the Life of Me and released my version of O Holy Night a few years ago. Finally a Christmas song! And this year I began writing and recording a NEW and 6th album which I am about to release on December 3rd called, JUST BELIEVE.

2. How does it feel to be doing interview number three with me, even though it's been an lengthy amount of time between the last set?

I love that you are always one of the first who ask! I feel like we should be best friends by now, don't you? Although I don't know enough about you. I'm thinking I should shoot you a few questions out there. :) Seriously though, I appreciate you so much! Anyone who is willing to spread the word for me is such a blessing! Thank you!

3. During those set of interviews, talk of your albums "Silent Screams" and "Beautiful Ashes", were discussed, but can you disclose the discography of these releases; according to you website, it says "Silent Screams" is your fourth album, with "Beautiful Ashes" being the fifth, BUT Wikipedia says, "SS" is the third with "BA" as the fourth, along with listing some other albums, of "Shattered illusions" (2003) and "Identity" (2006), which is which with these releases, including your all new album "Just Believe"?

Wikipedia doesn't list my very first album, "ONE MORE CHANCE". That album I kind of hide, but ironically it really helped launch me into the industry. I actually had a few AC radio singles off of it. Can you believe that? So the order is the following: "One More Chance", "Shattered Illusions", "Identity", "Silent Screams", "Beautiful Ashes" and "Just Believe".

4. Aside for those array of releases, you also released a "Bible Study book And CD" titled "For The Life Of Me", why go this route of content, and what is this book and CD all about? Will there be a follow-up bible study book and accompanying CD or just the one set for now?

When I wrote the bible study, "For the Life of Me", I wasn't touring and I really wanted to have an avenue to still connect with my target audience...those who are in need of hope and encouragement. The bible study is really a few tidbits of my life mixed in with scripture and songs. It goes into some detail about my struggles with insecurities and offers some encouragement to those who may be struggling with them or depression themselves. I'm not sure I will ever do a follow up book, but I know that for this new album I will be doing mini bible study "videos" for each song. They will most likely release one a month starting next year.

5. Let's discuss your new album "Just Believe", talking firstly about the album's artwork, it is a step back from your previous art styles slightly is it not? Can you describe it for us in greater detail.

The simpler design was deliberate and actually took me a long time. I kept removing things that didn't need to be there. So I wouldn't call it a step back, just me trying to focus on what mattered. All of my other albums had huge themes behind them and I wanted to convey that through the artwork. For instance, Beautiful Ashes had to have ashes right? :) But Just Believe, stylistically, is simply more stripped down and I felt the title was more self explanatory. I didn't want to cover up the meaning with too much fluff. The two images of myself are simply the front one showing outward struggle and then the faded one behind showing me looking up, conveying the need to align my emotions internally and JUST BELIEVE.

6. What about the title choice of "Just Believe", does it have a meaning behind its namesake?

Absolutely! Before I even began writing the album I began praying about the theme of it. All of my albums start with a theme. Every time I prayed about this one I kept feeling like the Lord was telling me to believe everything he had already shown me in past years and albums. As song after song started to come together I kept trying to come up with a really clever title. I have always been drawn to what I would call a juxtaposition of words. For instance, "Silent Screams" and Beautiful Ashes. How can screams be silent or ashes beautiful? But once I wrote the piano ballad for this album, Believe, I knew that the title had to stay on point with my overall theme... believe He wants to move in my life, believe in who He says He is, believe in my worth, believe in His love, believe if He has called me to do something He will make a way, believe how POWERFUL He is and how He is my hero every step of the way. Through it all...He wanted me and really ALL OF US to JUST BELIEVE HIM.

7. If you had to compare this album, to your assortment of other releases, how would you compare and contrast them all?

All of them lyrically are emotional and honest to what I was going through at the time of writing them. All of them are meant to give the listener hope and point them to my loving Savior, Jesus. Just Believe in my opinion represents my best vocals. I don't mean that to sound prideful, because I know regardless of how I sing, some people may never like my "tone." But I wanted this album to really show that I could vocally do more then I had done in past albums. I have a really strong falsetto that most people don't know about, so several of these songs showcase that as well as some of my breathier tones. Stylistically, "JUST BELIEVE" is more alternative/pop then a few of the others, especially Silent Screams and Beautiful Ashes. But that was because this was supposed to be my "acoustic" album. I guess this is my version of acoustic rock. :) It's probably more of an alternative pop.

8. You will be releasing this album at the end of this year, so does the 2019 year, already have plans set-up?

I don't have concrete plans. I feel like I am more relaxed on the timing surrounding this album on everything. I did just release my first radio single, "DRENCHED" to Christian radio. To help promote the new song, I also launched a lyric video last week which people can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGZUIG1KxTE.

I will be releasing several more singles to radio in 2019 and most likely a few videos to go along with them too. One of the things I am really excited about is pushing a song called, "SET FREE".  Not only do I love the lyrical content of this song, but I also love that it highlights an extremely talented vocalist and friend, Nikko Custodio. He even raps on it! I have always wanted one of my songs to have a rap moment. The only other set plan I have is what I mentioned earlier...to release the mini bible study videos throughout the year.

9. When can we expect to see Eowyn going on a full fledged tour across the U.S.?

I would love to do a show here and there and also tour a few weeks in 2019 but there are no set plans as of now. When the booking requests started coming in these past few weeks, we realized we had to really look at the possibilities and see how feasible that actually was for us to do again. I think if a tour happens, it will be dependent on how we can work that around our current jobs that we absolutely love.

10. While many may or may not know, your name is Eowyn, named after the Lord of the Rings character of both film and novel, but which way is the proper way to spell it, as "Eowyn" or "Éowyn"?

Éowyn, but even I don't type it out like that most of the time, because I always forget how to add the accent mark. But I always write it with the accent.

11. Come 2019, will mark an even 20 years, for you as the artist Éowyn, plan on celebrating in any shape or form?

Wow, I didn't even realize that. Although it makes since I didn't know, because I am horrible at remembering dates. Honestly, I am more introverted then a lot of people know, so It's unusual for me to plan an event or celebration. My kind of celebrations are truly my husband and I just grabbing some fast food and watching a movie at home. We do that every year for our Anniversary. Maybe we will plan on doing that! :)

12. Will we ever see a "re-release" of your previous albums "Shattered Illusions" and "Identity"?

We actually talked about redoing a few of the older songs, but I'm not sure we ever will.

13. "Silent Screams" see's a tenth anniversary for this year, 2018, were you able to do anything in celebration of it, or plan to in the future?

Another special occasion not on my radar! Haha I didn't even know it was the 10th Anniversary! :) I can't believe how fast time flies! Probably just another night at home with the hubby!

14. Can you ever see you performing any of your releases from front to back, like many other artists and bands have done with their anniversaries or celebrations of content?

I'm not opposed, although I think it would be fun to do the songs completely acoustic, but then I would have to determine which release? I'd rather combine the releases. That way I could choose my favorites from the 62 songs.

15. Would you like to add on or say anything more before wrapping this one up!

My new album, "JUST BELIEVE" is now up on iTunes for pre-order!  It is also currently the only place you can purchase my newest radio single, "DRENCHED". If someone prefers, they can also pre-order the album on my site...www.eowynmusic.com.  Also, thanks again for the interview and as always I would like to throw out there that if anyone needs prayer feel free to write me on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/Eowyn-Music-138192782876312/.

Madness Of Sorrow's Muriel Saracino Talks After Long Time Gap Between Last Discussion

Gothic, metal, horror trio MADNESS OF SORROW have released their fifth full-length album to date titled "Confessions From The Graveyard". With this album, came not just changes over the years and within the band, but so much emotion with it as well. Shows are set with more content to be released soon enough. Main man vocalist/guitarist Muriel Saracino goes into talks about this overdue discussion of lengthy time frames, music, and much more!

1. So it has been 6 years since we first and last spoke, so summarize for me what Madness Of Sorrow has been up to?

So, we have four albums, always being well received by the audience, a lot of changes within the line-up, with people that changed cities, other jobs, had injuries, so much that I'm not even joking.

2. During that time frame you stepped out as vocalist having Prophet fill in, upon your album "N.W.O. The Beginning", why the switch up?

Unfortunately for me, asthma had returned and I had to cure myself. I had no breath to sing. Prophet is a good friend of mine, so he did a great job filling in. All things were good, I was happy as a guitarist, but he's jobless and was unable to cover the upcoming tour, that's why at the end of it all, I had decided to return and be the voice of M.O.S.

3. After that release, you return as vocalist once more, so what happened?

Find answer above.

4. "Confessions From The Graveyard", is your fifth album to date, what comes to mind when hearing such a thing?

Considering that this album was very painful to write and I wasn't sure that I could even finish it, because I've faced two months of depression, I wasn't able to do much of anything. I'm happy with all of M.O.S.' records, but this particular album is our best album to date. With five albums we are at a good point with this band. I honestly don't know how far I can go with this project at this point.

5. What is it about this particular album, that had to go down a more emotional path in terms of the lyrics and contents of it?

As said, all of these lyrics are about what I've dealt with when my dad lost his battle with cancer in 2016. It's all happened within his last months of life. I remember visiting him in September, and he was able to stay standing, drive, eat, all the things that he couldn't do come December. In those three months all was changed and it was like a tornado of thoughts, things, it was all very quick and you have to react anyway.

6. Can you disclose the details behind the choice of art for the cover of this album?

Emanuele Lombardi was the one who did it. He's a very good musician and talented photographer. He had listened to the record, then took this photo he had made and turned it into a piece of art, for this album.

7. How about the titling, why go with such a title, does it have a meaning to go with it?

It's all about feelings, that we all experience sooner or later with the loss of someone dear to us. That being the loss of a parent, wife, husband, brother, sister, etc. All of these confessions are full of sadness, rage, desperation, loneliness, it's absolutely and extremely difficult to have the courage of speaking of it, but you find that you can slowly start to rise again, expressing oneself.

8. Throughout the entirety of your five full-length albums, the band's namesake has changed in term's of art styling, going from having "madness" be red on the first, then "sorrow" be red on the second, with "M" being red and solely alone on the third, down to the whole name being red on the fourth with the fifth having the name being white. Why go with such a pattern choice of these colors?

I love red, white, and black altogether. It's a standard mix within the gothic styles I think. The "M" was designed by our ex-guitarist during our release of "III: The Best" album. It since remains as our logo because I love it too much. Usually I try to reinvent the image of the band with every release and the whole new name style is an example of this.

9. Out of all of these releases, do each of them share a connection on any shape or form?

No. Every one of our releases has it's own concept, although there are various theme's connected like the rage against the church or against hypocrite people.

10. "Sanity", is your latest track to come off this album, with accompanying music video, tell me about that track and video release for us?

I want something that is connected to mental illness and that is why I play the role of a patient in the video. I always joked with friends and they would often tell me, "You're crazy my answer is always the same, with me saying "I perfectly know and you're sure to be sane?"

11. Will there be any other tracks to receive this same treatment?

I'm thinking about the next track being one called "Creepy", at the moment. It is a track that is something totally new in the M.O.S. discography. I think it could be a great song for a video release. There are a couple of other songs that I want to examine as well, but in time will tell for sure.

12. Since the beginning the band has always stuck to the gothic, metal, rock, horror, death, theme and genre choices, but has the sound progressed or changed during that time frame of then up until now?

We started as a gothic rock band, with doom influences and from that album "III: The Beast", I had started to include some extremely metal elements, like blast beasts on the drums, and even speedier guitar riffs. I don't want to write the same old song with every album. It has to be a meticulous writing process that I don't want to be repetitive, except for the fact that I write all the songs and something could be similar in sound at the long run of it all.

13. What other plans does the band have for the rest of 2018 going right into 2019?

We are about to play some shows in Italy this month of November. We're also working to have more shows in 2019. Maybe something out in Europe again, but we have to work on it.
